      You need to enable "seasonal effect" in your multiplayer settings

      Winter mod works fine, you need to enable "seasonal effect" in your multiplayer settings (general tab)

      It is still uncertain if wintermod will be available this year.

      The constant inrease of mod filesize and increasing numbers of players make it each year more difficult to distribute the mod to everyone at once. Our dev team is looking into it, but we can't guarantee that it will be available.

      Like pingu said: ATS received an update that is incompatible with mods, ETS didn't and is thus not impacted. Hence your comment makes no sense as it twists the truth.

    Wow... What an event! I want to thank each and every one of you guys that attended Fright Night 2018 - it was one of the best events in the TruckersMP community this year. Special thanks to all our event staff @IethaI @[RLC] PureSalt @Matt #CarLadMatt @_Ben_ @Savage. @Numark @Darkor16 @Nectarine @teddie38 (sorry if I missed). I appreciate you all individually, you made event happen. Without you guys the event wouldn't have been a thing. I would also like to say a big thanks to all the GMs that took 2 hours out of their days (when they could have been doing GM work) for attending and making sure the convoy ran smoothly @MikeOG @Prime @Speedy_TMP @sshadmin  @Adrian22-PL @Armonk @Coppekss @JeffSFC @[LKW Tr.] Kap @Krewlex

    And of course a massive thank you to my friend @K0rnholio - after 4 months of planning all this work has payed off. It's been a good journey and I loved every minute of it! I can't wait to start Fright Night 2019 :) 

    Now, time for the next major event! Remembrance Day 2018...

    i have a question 

     

    with those triple and and double trailers is there any rules i should know about them ? 

     

     

    i have ats and ets2 and  i play  both
     

     

    but i can't seem to see the latest rules about them on the website

      In ats you can use triples in the area where they spawn, in ets they are NOT allowed in any form.

       

      In ets you can use doubles and b-doubles outside the busiest areas, the map shown in the guide by @DJ Jefferzroughly shows the area where they will be kicked by the server, however only the devs can provide the exact area.

    Today I want to talk about what bothers me on the forum.

    I don't like the fact that people congratulate on their birthday only staff members and sometimes players who they contact with. I understand when they congratulate their friends or players who they meet  on forum, but spamming on staff profile congratulations post just because they're staff I think is not best job. I was doing same in the beginning but then I thought, what If I've birthday in one day with staff member and everyone congratulate him and me not? I think all of us are happy when someone congratulate us, players who are not in staff. I think you see that I always tag everyone who has birthday because I think It's right and forum members who are not in staff are happy that someone saw they have birthday, they are not in staff but still congratulate them. I'm not asking everyone to tag all forum members who have birthday, I just want make you to think about what you do. Maybe someone has a different opinion, but know, I respect everyone and I'm ready to listen to your opinion.

      Completely understandable, I personally have birthday notification off on my profile so it's hidden.

       

      The only thing that can actually he done as a remedy would be to turn it off, but there is no middle ground. It's either available for everyone to show or not

    YOU NEED TO GIVE MORE WARNING TIME ON KICK FOR NO LIGHTS JUST JOINED SERVER AGIN AND KICK

      The auto kick on 10 seconds after 16:00 is only triggered if you are moving.

      If you get kicked when connecting then you are driving while joining the server which is something you shouldn't do anyway.

    I just don't like the fact that we cant drive with doubles all around the Europe, in real life it makes sense but in game not really, its half simulator anyway so i don't know why scs limited us here... if they want to go hard on simulator then go hard on it but don't go once hard sim once totally unreal, they went hard sim in this case but we still didn't get all possible double variants, wheres the simulation here? Its half sim in my opinion... What I want to say, go hard but go hard in everything, go half real, but go half real in everything or go totally arcade (wideness of roads, trailer stability slider) but go arcade in everything, that's how it should be in my opinion.

    how funny is this  i was in trouble for this , but yet the guy him self overtaking+ rammed  into me

    its not my job to give him way .  if  he wants to overtake on a busy road then how do  i stop on a busy road?  makes no sense

      You are at fault for speeding up while the other player was overtaking preventing him to do so.

      the rule about overtaking only applies when there is high population in a certain area, in your recording there is no high population.

       

      As marco already said: our ingame rules also state that local traffic regulations must be respected. For Europe this means that you are not allowed to stop someone from overtaking by speeding up and denying him to get back in lane.

    Can I have some details on the no car on the CD road rule? cause before now I had the idea that if I ever went on that road in a car I would instantly be banned so I never touched it in a car, but recently two separate admins have said that basically its ok to go in it in a car as long as you don't cause trouble. So what exactly is the rule and should I follow it?

      Useless traffic in excessively high population areas

      Useless traffic in excessively high population areas such as Europoort, Rotterdam or the Calais to Duisburg road. Driving without reason to and from or anything similar. If you are in the area of Europoort, you are expected to use the port or you are running the risk of punishment.

       

      This rule applies to both trucks and cars alike.

    YouTube's copyright algorithm is really full of horse poop. I just uploaded a video of a new artwork I am working on and YouTube has identified the first song I put on the video as a copyrighted song. I'd understand it if the song YouTube claims it is was the actual song I put in the video but nope! The music it claims infringes copyright is something completely different by a completely different musician. What the hell?

    Now I'll have to edit the video again, find another suitable song, render it all over again and then upload it again. Such a waste of time!

      Problem with a lot of content sites like YT is that there are a lot of fake companies out there putting in content ids even though they don't own it to make money of it.

      Modifying your vehicle to include car parts on your truck or truck parts on your car. This includes paintjobs. This also includes adding too many beacons and horns to your truck and also includes any large horns or beacons on your bullbar or front bar.

    When you have to reset the economy to see trailers in freight market, f7 enter doesnt work for me and when i want to sleep it says "this is resting place but you are not tired"... great xD

    I wonder where did my reply go. What I said was correct. TMP does often require password reset if you do not login for about over a month. Has happened to me and many other members and probably to that guy too.

    But I guess the mod who deleted the reply knows better...

      What you can do is edit the file and save as web compatible gif which will reduce filesize to approx 50kb
