So, about that last report of mine that got declined in LESS THAN ONE MINUTE after it was registered... the video evidence alone is 1:38 minutes long, the report was registered at 17:37 and closed down at 17:38, which means the admin (whose name I won't mention) spent less than one minute reviewing it and couldn't possibly be giving a single bit of attention to it. He closed it down as declined and said "no ban reason". Well, I called BS on that, filed a complaint and remade the report, asking for another another to review it and give it proper attention as all other admins have ever done with my reports and guess what? The job was properly done this time. The report was properly reviewed by an admin doing his job right. The report was accepted as it should have been. Thank you @MrHarv . You da man!

I've managed to separate enough time today to dedicate to my PC and I have finally transferred all the hardware into the new case.  Took me about four hours to take it apart and rebuild into the new case, manage the cables, reorganize the desk (this case requires more space), the cables on the back and as a bonus, I installed a internal card reader on my second PC and lastly, put away the old case (I'm keeping it) and cleaned everything up on the table I used to work. My back is killing me, but it was worth it.

 

So, remember that artwork I was working on non-stop since Monday? It's finished!

Still about that Pentium 4 system I have spent the past few days playing with... (https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/profile/666-mike-dragon/&status=114783&type=status)

 

I can now finally say I am done playing with my "new toy". I've setup Windows 2000 Professional on it as if I was preparing the PC for my own daily use and I had fun doing it. I had fun seeing the things I expected to work, working, I had fun troubleshooting what didn't, I had fun figuring out the ethernet driver, the anti virus and I even installed Photoshop on it and spent part of the Sunday making a wallpaper for Windows 2000. And yeah, I did make the wallpaper on Windows 2000 on that Pentium 4! 

 

 

Though as I said, I have finished "playing" with this system for the time being. I'd like to build it into a case and have it ready for regular use but I lack the space in my house to install yet another computer (I already have three in my bedroom and I can only have two of them on at the same time) so since all the parts are working well and I have decided not to build it into a complete PC as of now, I have separated the parts and put them in boxes of their own then put these boxes together into a bag and put them away somewhere safe. But before I took it all apart and stored them, however, I installed a floppy drive I had stored for years. I didn't remember if it was working so it was also a good chance to get it tested. I have a lot of floppy disks around so find a few to test was no trouble. And gladly, the drive works perfectly well!  So I set it to be stored with the other parts. All this system needs to be a usable PC is a case and power supply of its own.

 

 

Oh, and here's the wallpaper I made:

 

You know... it is a old system and it is quite outdated but this has been a fun project to play with and I am happy that everything in it works like new. This would have been a great system back in the day for the specs it has:

 

- Gigabyte GA-VM800PMC

- 2x 512 MB of DDR2 RAM

- 256MB ATI Radeon 9250

- 80 GB hard drive

- DVD RW drive

- Floppy disk drive

- Windows 2000 Professional

 

It ran everything I've thrown at it (I've used software that the OS and hardware is capable of running, of course. You can't install and run the latest Google Chrome or the newest Forza Horizon on Windows 2000 with a 256 MB Radeon 9250, for example) and didn't crash or showed slowdowns not even once. And what's the coolest is that Windows 2000, once fully updated, can still be used as a "daily driver" OS, even today. As such, in a pinch, I could use this computer for some more basic tasks every day if I wanted to. It browses the web, it is protected by Avast! and I can type Word documents as well as watch videos and listen to music on Windows Media player and even watch DVDs. I've always liked Windows 2000. Too bad I never actually used it back in the day, when it was fully supported by everything.  Such a good OS!

Stumbled upon @zmaster1985 on the road and later on Flagstaff and got invited to join him, @Prime and their friends in a couple of convoys. At first I was a bit hesitant but I didn't refuse the offer. It was very fun.  Thanks guys once more for the lovely drive! It was great.  See you next time!

Here's what happened...

 

I was preparing to go up a ramp and when I was about to activate my engine brake to begin slowing down, my game minimized by itself for whatever reason. When I managed to get back to it, my truck was already way too close to the player ahead so even though I tried, I could not stop and ended up rear-ending his truck. Then I lost connection. D:<

 

Though looking back at it, now, I don't even know if I actually did end up ramming that player or not. After all, he was completely stopped on my screen and right as I managed to get back to the game the connection was lost. It's likely I had already been disconnected when I hit him on my screen so in reality, I might not even have touched his truck.

 

So, @Folkshauer, if I did hit you, then please accept my most sincere apologies.

The biggest update of all time for Left 4 Dead 2 is dropping on the next 24th of September (Thursday). It's mad by the community and is officially supported by Valve. The latest patch for MP seem to have fixed the crash issues on ETS2 but ATS is still crashing like crazy! It crashes so hard that even Steam and Action! (my recording software) stops working. I tried without Action! to ensure it wasn't that program that was causing any problems, somehow (which would make no sense since I had JUST used it for hours on ETS2 with no problem at all) but nope. ATS MP still crashes hard.

 

Gonna uninstall MP and delete any of its remaining files and reinstall, though I highly doubt that's gonna fix it.

 

 

 

On a side note, I just found @Sysgen chilling in Phoenix.
