  7. Greetings, truckers! Our second Official Convoy of 2021 has been scheduled and you're all invited! For February, we're heading back to Euro Truck Simulator 2! This month, we'll be heading down the adventurous roads of Italia DLC, from Turin to Naples which we should see some beautiful views. Are you ready for more trucking? Join us on the 27th February at 18:00 UTC Alternative Timezones Starting our journey in Turin (Torino), we'll be travelling south, on roads of which have some spectacular scenic roads heading towards and arriving eventually in Naples (Napoli)! Suggestion Description: When you be in areas with many people, you doesn’t find the player directly in the TAB list, so it would be nice that you can click like the game mods on the name and can mute, go on his Steam profile, TMP profile etc. Any example images: / Why should it be added?: Because it’s not a big problem to add it into the game. (I think so)

  11. This is a common issue and I have not found any proper fix yet. You can get around it by changing the tag manually in `Documents > ETS2MP > config.txt`. Look for "tag color", there you can insert the colour you want in decimal code. You can find the RGB code of the colour you like here: https://www.google.com/search?q=color+picker and then convert it to decimal here: https://www.checkyourmath.com/convert/color/rgb_decimal.php (or a similar website)

  14. Need data paths for your trailer cargo? No problem you came to the right place! I wanted to create a organized excel for those of us who want to have all of the cargo models in the game. As my save edit years have passed I have seen several .txt files with data paths in them, my problem has been to find the right trailer and cargo each time. This is no longer a problem as I created an excel sheet two years back with the data paths. I have been updating it for each ets2 version and it has recently been refurbished for me to share on the forums. The excel is your best friend when switching between cargo models. I can have one up as soon as there is enough demand for it. To use these data paths you need to know how to save edit.   15. Hello, My old post is put in the trash by the admins which is quite sad as many people appreciated this post. As I see a lot of people who seem to be unable to drive respectful and careful, I wrote this little guide to explain how to drive. I know that the most trolls and idiots won't see this thread and most of you already know what I will write. That's why it's so important that you share this with all the people who need this guide. I still hope that the Admins also notice how important this is for our game experience and that they will include these rules in the in-game rules at least as recommendation to make this more public. General information: Do not use your airhorn for every tiny little ****. It should only be used in dangerous situations for you or others. Of course you can greet your friends, but please not to greet every truck you see. The most stupid thing I have ever seen are people overtaking on the left or right during a traffic jam. Guys, it doesnt make ANY sense! I don't know whats going on in your mind. There is a reason why you get in a traffic jam and when you try to get to the beginning of this jam you still have to wait there. And when you drive on the opposite lane you only endanger the oncoming traffic and it makes everything worse than it already is. This is especially for the traffic jams at Europoort. When a lane ends the in Germany so called zipper procedure applies. If they have to slow down because of you, wait for them. If you see somebody wanting to join the road and he can pull out fast enough in front of you flash your high beams or light horn to let him know that you are giving way. This is very useful on country roads and also sometimes in the city, when there are no signs or traffic lights. Thanks to xOceanSpirit for this tip. You should keep a distance to the preceeding vehicle of at least the half of the speed in metres. For example if you are driving with 80km/h you should have a distance of at least 40 metres. But I always recommend to have a higher distance as the synchronization is buggy sometimes and trucks might stop isntantly and then you have no time to react. Behaviour in the city In most cities the speed limit is 50 km/h, sometimes also just 30 km/h. These speed restrictions are not there for fun, so please drive as you are supposed to If there is NO sign indicating priority for YOU, you always have to give way to everybody who comes from the right. Only if there are signs or a traffic light indicating priority, you may drive before the others. But this needs YOU to respect these signs and to drive according to these signs otherwise it doesn't make any sense. When leaving a company it's a bit different. As companies are private grounds everybody who leaves a company must give way to all cars on the street. If you want to enter a company and somebody is about to leave it, it makes sense to give way to him that everybody has enough space to avoid any crashes. This should be clear but also use your indicators to indicate your direction you are driving to. At crossings also try not to cut the way of others Behavior on country roads Drive according to the speed limit! This should make sense... Many people just fall over because they think they can drive with 110 km/h on a country road. Do NOT overtake when it is not allowed. When overtaking is not allowed it is mostly because you cant look far enough to see the way you need to overtake. If overtaking is not allowed you see that on a sign (see section "Traffic signs", second picture) or when the lane markings are continuous like below: http://www.fahrtipps.de/img/vz/40p/295.gif When you see somebody overtaking you, i recommend to use the light horn to indicate that he may turn right on your lane. As the connection might be buggy sometimes this is really helpful for the overtaking driver to notice when the distance is enough. You may also use your normal air horn. If you see somebody parking on the side of the road, use your horn when your passing the truck. Sometimes these people do not look and they just start driving and you crash into them. Thats really annoying, so warn them before it is too late. When somebody takes over and you see oncoming traffic, slow down and drive as right on the street as possible. Then he can go back on the right lane much earlier. Turn off your highbeams when there is oncoming traffic Behaviour on Motorways: Remember the obligation to drive on the right (different in UK). Sometimes there are idiots who think they have to block the left lane. This is illegal and you may only use the left lane to take over. When you see somebody overtaking you, i recommend using the light horn to indicate that he may turn right on your lane. As the connection might be buggy sometimes this is really helpful for the overtaking driver to notice when the distance is great enough. You may also use your normal air horn. If you see somebody parking on the side of the road, use your horn when your passing the truck. Sometimes these people do not look and they just start driving and you crash into them.   16. Suggestion Name: Skoda SuperB Remaking Part 2 Suggestion Description: Hi. First of all, the current car we have has a lot of bugs. Considering FMOD coming soon with rollable windows, the car should get its next improvement update. I have summed up here some ideas that will make more fun driving the vehicle. - besides the caravan, a roofbox (image included) - adding the SCS Truck paintjobs for the car aswell, for more customization especially for company cars - More rims (can be taken from SCS AI vehicles aswell) (inspired by local-savegame editing where you can saveedit AI tires onto the car) - rollable windows for both sides - fixing windscreen wipers - More interior customization, such as hanging toys, navigation, and so on - A normal trailer where you can haul boxes, small cars,.. Any example images: Yes, roofbox: (roofbox is private mod) Why should it be added?: The ideas mentioned above are partly adding more realism, but the paintjobs and interior customization add more customization possibilities for the players aswell. Having the same, clear interior everywhere is getting annoying! The roofbox is also a great travelling (holidays) add-on besides the caravan aswell, considering the caravan is a bit wobbly when driving on the highway. Windscreen wipers and rollable windows are I believe self-explainable. And for anyone thinking, it's a truck simulation game, yes, that's true, but the car is a great addon to the highways only filled with trucks! I would personally like more variarity of vehicles on the highway, and not only the same looking trucks. The car is great for roleplaying or chilling and driving, and I feel the ideas mentioned above could improve the experience. PS.: For my personal skoda mod, I improved the engine power to make the acceleration better. However, considering trolls, I have my doubts that this will happen anytime in TMP.

Hello everyone, The latest rules update has been published and with this blog post we would like to explain why we have made such changes, as well as giving an insight on further changes in terms of punishments. The first relevant change is related to the 1.2§ - Ban Evading rule. The punishment for evading a ban, more often than not, resulted into a permanent ban due to the severity of the offences committed through multiple accounts. We have decided to standardize punishments for Ban Evading to a permanent ban. What is classed as Ban Evading? Evading a ban includes any attempt to avoid a punishment, which includes but is not limited to: Creating a new Steam account and a new TruckersMP profile to use services you are banned from (appeal, web report and feedback system, servers); Borrow another player's account and use TruckersMP services you are banned from; Take down your own evidence that got you banned in order to get the ban removed. It is worth explaining that we are going to put greater effort to spot Ban Evaders for 2.1§ related offences and severe intentional offences. Another internal change that will also affect you is the ability to report Ban Evaders. Our focus is to have a lean approach on what we do, freeing ourselves of steps that are often unproductive and provide close to no results. We have worked a lot on web reports and feedback tickets by checking accounts we received and we deem this method highly inefficient. Out of 6496 Ban Evading reports we processed, barely 30% of them was classed as a valid web report and resulted in a ban. Starting today, it won't be possible to report in any way Ban Evaders through the web report system or the feedback system, all BE related processes will be handled internally with the appropriate tools available for the Game Moderation Management. Further improvements have been made to 1.4§ - Reporting users. We have improved wording to let players and staff members have a better understanding of the rules and we also decided to publicly share the punishments we have been issuing for the past year as per internal rules. From now on, the GM Team will decline any report that does not comply with the rules in order to increase the average quality of web reports and for certain rules violations, the Game Moderation Management will manually issue a 30 days ban from the web report system which will need to be appealed through the feedback system. The second offence will be permanent. We feel like this is a necessary step due to the outstanding amount of total web reports declined that goes as high as 326,989, 26% of the total received. Following the Road to Simulation #2 blog post, we would like to take further steps forward in preventing intentional offences from happening on our servers. The Game Moderation Management has made wide use of the 2.9§ rule in the past months and issued permanent bans, even as first bans, to players that were intentionally violating rules. Back in 2019 we have issued a total of 14,323 permanent bans which are still active as of today. In 2020, we stepped it up at 17,919 permanent bans with an increase of 25%. We do not intend to stop this trend: we will make further internal changes to ban people even faster that intentionally violate the rules for driving-related offences. We will be restricting the loop further on racist remarks and we will be having a zero-tolerance policy for racism-related offences and we'll go as far as issuing instant permanent bans for such violations. TruckersMP is a worldwide community, full of players of any age and any origin and we won't consider racism as "just" a worse insult any longer. In the past months, we have already started issuing harsher bans for such offences, however, we want to make it clear what we will be doing with such events. One major change that you can read in our latest rules update is the restricted use of anything related to criminal organizations on tags, avatars, names, VTC names etc. on all our services. At TruckersMP we've always restricted the possibility to impersonate in any way other users, staff members, political figures, law enforcement, leaders and authorities of any kind and we do not believe allowing the use criminal organizations such as the "Mafia" are fit for our community. We do not support nor encourage the views of such organizations and for this reason, we do not want these to be part of our servers. We are very well aware that some specific names are widely used in the community, which is why we will be giving a 7 days cool down to remove and/or change all criminal organization related content, whether they are in-game tags, usernames, vehicle tags, VTC names and tags, avatars etc. After the cooldown has ended, on the 21/02/2021, we will proceed to issue punishments for in-game related offences and hand-made changes for the other TruckersMP related services such as Forums, VTCs and TruckersMP profiles as we do on a daily basis for other violations of the 1.5§ rule. --> View post on homepage

  18. Hello everyone! We received many complaints and suggestions regarding the Duisburg area. As you might have seen already, we made Duisburg city no-collision. You can drive through players and nobody can ram you within this zone. The NCZ was added on a trial basis and might be adjusted or removed in the future. What is your opinion? Do you have other ideas on how we could improve the Duisburg situation?

If by external view, you mean 1 to 9 I see no problems (1, 2 and 3 will probably be the best to be honest) But, if you mean the dev cam (Cam 0) it can get you banned from the report system, if you were to let's say park at the Duisburg freeway intersection and just record whatever people do, and then report them as described in rule 1.4. §1.4 - Reporting users Spamming our report system with useless reports, reports using continuous freecam (Cam 0) to record or anything similar.   20. I'm guessing you went to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder, which is in Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2. What you want is the ETS2MP folder: Documents > ETS2MP. Both folders have a config file in them.

Hello Koreire, First up, congrats on making your first forum topic and also, welcome to the TMP forum Back to the issue: I'd say, either completely disable OneDrive (Might not be an option for you) or try disabling certain folders from being synced, for example your ETS2 folder or just the mod folder Here's how to hopefully do that: 1. Right click the OneDrive icon near the clock. 2. Click settings 3. Navigate to the 'Account' tab 4. Bonjour tout le monde, La dernière mise à jour des règles a été publiée et avec ce blog, nous aimerions expliquer pourquoi nous avons fait ces changements, ainsi que donner un aperçu sur d’autres changements en termes de sanctions. Le premier changement significatif est lié à la règle 1.2§ - Contournement de Bannissement. La sanction pour avoir contourné un bannissement, le plus souvent, a entraîné un bannissement permanent en raison de la gravité des infractions commises à travers de multiples comptes. Nous avons décidé de standardiser les sanctions pour le Contournement de Bannissement en un bannissement permanent. Qu’est-ce qui est considéré comme Contournement de Bannissement? Contourner un ban inclut toute tentative d’éviter une sanction, ce qui inclut, mais n’est pas limité à: Création d’un nouveau compte Steam et d’un nouveau profil TruckersMP pour utiliser les services dont vous êtes banni (appels, système de rapport et de feedback, serveurs) Empruntez le compte d’un autre joueur et utilisez les services de TruckersMP dont vous êtes banni Retirez les preuves qui vous ont valu le bannissement afin de faire retirer le ban. Il faut préciser que nous allons redoubler nos efforts pour repérer les contourneurs de ban pour les infractions liées au 2.1§ et les infractions intentionnelles graves. Un autre changement interne qui vous affecte également est la possibilité de signaler les contourneurs de ban. Notre objectif est d’avoir une approche allégée de ce que nous faisons, en nous libérant des étapes qui sont souvent improductives et qui ne donnent presque aucun résultat. Nous avons beaucoup travaillé sur les rapports web et les tickets de feedback en vérifiant les comptes que nous avons reçus et nous jugeons cette méthode très inefficace. Sur les 6496 rapports de contournement de ban que nous avons reçus, à peine 30% ont été classés comme des rapports valables et ont entraîné un bannissement. À partir d’aujourd’hui, il ne sera plus possible de signaler d’aucune manière les contourneurs de ban par le système de rapport ou le système de feedback, tous les processus liés à ceci seront traités intérieurement avec les outils appropriés disponibles pour la gestion de la modération du jeu (Game Moderation Management). D’autres améliorations ont été apportées à la 1.4§ - Signalement des utilisateurs. Nous avons amélioré sa rédaction afin de permettre aux joueurs et aux membres de staff de mieux comprendre les règles et nous avons également décidé de rendre publiques les sanctions que nous avons infligées l’année dernière suivant les règles internes. Dorénavant, l’équipe GM refusera tout rapport qui ne respecte pas les règles afin d’augmenter la qualité moyenne des rapports web et pour certaines violations des règles, la direction de la modération du jeu imposera manuellement une interdiction de 30 jours du système de rapports web qui devra être contestée par le système de feedback. La deuxième infraction sera permanente. Nous jugeons cette mesure nécessaire en raison de la quantité totale de rapports web refusés, qui s’élève à 326 989, soit 26% du total reçu. Suite à l’article du blog “Road to Simulation #2”, nous aimerions prendre des mesures supplémentaires pour empêcher les infractions intentionnelles de se produire sur nos serveurs. La direction de la modération du jeu a beaucoup utilisé la règle 2.9§ au cours des derniers mois et a prononcé des interdictions permanentes, même en tant que premières sanctions, aux joueurs qui enfreignaient intentionnellement les règles. En 2019, nous avons émis un total de 14,323 bans permanents qui sont toujours actifs à ce jour. En 2020, nous avons augmenté le nombre de bans permanents à 17,919, soit une hausse de 25%. Nous n’avons pas l’intention d’arrêter cette tendance: nous ferons d’autres changements internes pour bannir encore plus rapidement les personnes qui enfreignent intentionnellement les règles relatives aux infractions liées à la conduite. Nous allons resserrer davantage sur les remarques racistes et nous aurons une politique de tolérance zéro pour les infractions liées au racisme et nous irons jusqu’à émettre des bans permanents instantanés pour de telles violations. TruckersMP est une communauté mondiale, pleine de joueurs de tout âge et de toute origine et nous ne considérerons plus le racisme comme une “simple” insulte. Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons déjà commencé à émettre des sanctions plus sévères pour de telles infractions, cependant, nous voulons préciser ce que nous faisons de ces situations. Un grand changement que vous pouvez lire dans notre dernière mise à jour des règles est l’utilisation restrictive de tout ce qui a à voir avec les organisations criminelles sur les tags, avatars, noms, noms de VTC etc. sur tous nos services. À TruckersMP, nous avons toujours limité la possibilité de se faire passer pour d’autres utilisateurs, membres du staff, personnalités politiques, forces de l’ordre, dirigeants et autorités de toute sorte et nous ne pensons pas que permettre l’utilisation d’organisations criminelles telles que la “Mafia” soit adapté à notre communauté. Nous ne soutenons ni n’encourageons pas les opinions de ces organisations et c’est pourquoi nous ne voulons pas que celles-ci font partie de nos serveurs. Nous savons très bien que certains noms spécifiques sont largement utilisés dans la communauté, c’est pourquoi nous accorderons un délai de 7 jours pour retirer et/ou modifier tout contenu lié aux organisations criminelles, qu’il s’agisse de tags, de noms d’utilisateurs, de tags de véhicules, de noms et tags de VTC, d’avatars, etc. Après la fin de la période de grâce, le 21/02/2021, nous procéderons à émettre des sanctions pour les infractions liées en jeu et les modifications manuelles pour les autres services liés à TruckersMP tels que les forums, les VTC et les profils TruckersMP, comme nous le faisons quotidiennement pour les autres violations de la règle 1.5§. Responsibilities: Ensure player satisfaction by responding timely and accurately to player’s reports and issues; Provide support to players on game related queries; Ensure all players adhere to the TruckersMP rules; Assessing and fairly punishing users breaking the rules; Dealing with GM related matters; Enforcing our in-game rules across all servers, dealing with in-game and web reports. Core Requirements: A good understanding of English. You need to be able to understand others and others to understand you; Registered on the TruckersMP website for at least 1 year and on the Forum for at least six months; Showing activity on the TruckersMP services; Be active within all of the above for at least two months before the recruitment was created; No forum or discord punishments in the past year - No more than 3 bans in the last 24 months; Keen interest to learn and develop; high motivation; excellent communication; You must have a good standing nature within the community; You are responsible, professional and are resilient to critique; Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, ability to make authoritative and impacting decisions quickly; You are knowledgeable about the game and can provide tips to other players about the game and help with questions or issues; Have a deep knowledge and understanding of TruckersMP and its rules including European and American road laws; Familiar with the game's mechanics; Must be active in-game; Ability to reach the activity requirements. Hard and soft skills that are considered as a plus when we consider applications but are not mandatory requirements: Being able to fully understand multiple languages; Previous Moderation experience with provable examples in similar communities. Le 12 Novembre 2019, nous avons annoncé que TruckersMP avait un extraordinaire 3 millions utilisateurs. Cela va être fou, mais nous sommes fiers d'annoncer qu'aujourd'hui nous avons dépassé la barre de 4 millions utilisateurs! Cela dépasse sérieusement nos attentes! Lorsque TruckersMP a été créé et établi en 2014, nous n'aurions jamais pensé qu'un si petit projet deviendrait aussi populaire avec autant de comptes enregistrés. Cela nous étonne sérieusement! De la part de toute l'équipe de TruckersMP, nous vous remercions donc de nous avoir rejoints sur ce voyage et vous remercions d'avoir joué votre rôle dans notre histoire. Alors que nous continuons à travailler pour assurer un avenir radieux à ce projet, il est important de ne jamais oublier le chemin parcouru et ce que nous avons accompli. Juillet 2020: TFM et TMP en jeu - un grand développement pour notre partenariat avec Truckers.FM a été lorsque nous avons ajouté des commandes dans le jeu qui vous donneraient des informations sur ce qui se passe à TFM. Nous avons également ajouté une boîte radio personnalisée sur laquelle vous pouviez voir toutes ces informations! Octobre 2020: Stream Team - une toute nouvelle équipe a été introduite dans TruckersMP pour la première fois en 2 ans, la Stream Team ! Cette équipe est composée de membres qui se consacrent au streaming sur notre chaîne Twitch. Septembre 2020: Relancement des Contributeurs Communautaires - le programme des Contributeurs Communautaires a été retravaillé afin que le public puisse nommer des membres et que nous puissions faire reconnaître ceux qui, dans notre communauté, sont dédiés et font un effort supplémentaire pour promouvoir TruckersMP. Décembre 2020: Système d'Événements - une fonctionnalité très attendue a été le Système d'Evénements qui a été lancé en Décembre et qui permet aux utilisateurs de publier et de promouvoir leurs événements organisés sur notre plateforme. Ce système a ensuite été intégré aux VTC et a permis d'obtenir plus de 500 événements au cours du premier mois!   33. Suggestion Name: Car Physics Suggestion Description: For a few months, I was wondering, why the car physics has not been changed. I mean it is a Simulator, but in-game, a small Scout (Skoda) can hit a huge set and tip it over easily, which is quite abnormal. In real life, the truck driver would not even feel when someone would hit his trailer. Any example images: N/A Why should it be added?: I believe that this change would protect normal players from childish ones, who are joining the game, only to disturb the game of normal players - especially if the truckers are delivering goods from the WoTr. I've mentioned WoTr because if someone tip you over, you are losing the whole delivery, no matter how long you've been driving. Ok, we can report such a user, but our time is lost (e.q. 4 hrs), Gamer Moderation Team has to review such a report (Team has to waste their time to punish childish players). Thank you

  34. Duisburg was fine the way it was, with patience you could get through there no problem, alot of players like the traffic, they go there specifically because of the traffic and chaos. Yes there are trolls and people who cause problems but they will never just go away no matter what is done, they can be reported and banned. The biggest problem with Duisburg was the service station and everyone trying to get out of it at the same time which blocked the road up and then that caused players to choose to drive the wrong way to get out of there and then that blocked up that intersection but this is a problem that has always existed, back in the days of Europort that problem was at Rotterdam service station and now that problem has been just moved to the entrance to the city. Sim changes changed noting with C-D as its now the same just at slower speed and this wont change Duisburg it just moves it. I understand the reason for this and can understand both sides but if you do not like Duisburg or C-D you don't really have to go there, its only one place on a big map. I will never understand people who complain about an area and don't like it yet go there all the time and the trolls will always find somewhere else to troll.

  36. Although I like the idea because it would certainly benefit me running large weekly events I feel like overall this would not benefit the future of TMP nor benefit patreons in any way. Seeing an extra few hundred meters would mean even more people would load in your area leading to even more stress on your CPU, GPU etc for no reason. If it worked the same way it does for GM's, Event Team etc where it will only load the same amount of people would mean that your truck would disappear and you would end up appearing back inside people which could then lead to crashes etc. Having an increased view range would also result in an influx in reports which could overwhelm the report system and the GM's because we all know there's people that will go sit at highly populated areas in "0" cam and fill the report system up of people they believe are breaking the rules. Although in a way they are helping the TruckersMP team and the community in reducing the amount of rule breakers in the server there will still be a lot of 'declined reports' of users not breaking the rules or not providing the required evidence. Overall I believe there is a lot more features that could be added for patreons with better benefits that an increased view range. -1

  40. Witam, Należy postępować według poleceń. Klikasz wczytaj i nie przejmujesz się tym. Wszystko powinno wczytać się normalnie. Sam osobiście miałem problemy z TrucksBook, dlatego zrezygnowałem z niego i nie korzystam już z niego. Korzystałem natomiast z Virtual Spedytor i byłem bardzo zadowolony. Nie miałem problemów z jego działaniem, a dodawanie ładunków było banalnie proste. Jeśli wykorzystujesz TrucksBook do tworzenia sobie tras to warto chyba zmienić program. Ja nigdy nie skorzystałem z opcji stworzenia zlecenia na TrucksBook, jednak pamiętam, że kiedyś była taka opcja. Pewnie do dziś jest, skoro właśnie masz taki problem. W moim przypadku po pewnym czasie program nie rejestrował moich tras mimo, że program był zainstalowany raz i nigdy się nim nie bawiłem. Brakowało pliku telemetrii, czy czegoś podobnego. Przeinstalowałem ww. program, jednak nawet to nie pomogło. Z poważaniem, JJay Retired Team Member
