Let us invite you to join a new World of Trucks event. This time, we are looking north! We have received a lot of rather positive feedback during the previous World of Trucks events. It is clear that a lot of players enjoy having a new challenge and a goal to fulfil, and the little rewards may also play a role. ;) Our ambition is to arrange the events more frequently in the future, even though honestly we seem to struggle a bit to balance the production, testing, and release pipeline to process all the various projects and game updates running in parallel. It may bite us too this time - with the new event now starting, we may end up overlapping it with the planned open beta of update 1.31 for both games. We hope that spending the time performing the event deliveries feels good on its own, but for some of you, having a little context backstory can improve the enjoyment even further, so here we are... As you know, our ETS map design team is currently working hard on the upcoming Beyond the Baltic Sea world expansion. You can imagine how much material of all types would be needed if this was all happening in the real world. There are so many kilometers of roads to build, so many buildings, intersections, industries and landmarks, so much landscaping! Maybe we can all help shorten the world-building process by transporting any supplies that we can up north? We'll need to build a new ferry on Sweden's Baltic coast to facilitate the transport of goods over to Finland! Now straight to the rules of this event: You need to own DLC Scandinavia to be able to participate. You need to be connected to World of Trucks service for the online jobs to register! To earn the reward for this event, your goal is to complete a delivery of any cargo to or from Sweden with at least 10 different other countries in the rest of Europe. You can review your recent deliveries in the LogBook if you are logged in to World of Truck. The event will last for one month. If you'll pass this requirement, you will get the reward, which includes: 'Viking Warrior' - dashboard statue 'Northern Lights' - main menu background 3 random country pennants As you probably remember from the previous events, we are taking advantage of Steam's Inventory infrastructure to "drop" the rewards to you. As a consequence, the individual items can be traded or even sold through Steam. Just remember that if you get rid of a particular Inventory item, you will no longer be able to see it in the game's Upgrade Shop and equip your truck with it. View the full article

(or) Solution: Quick travel to one of your garages. (or) Solution: Call service and get teleport to service (F7 and then ENTER). (or) Solution: Visit individual companies and see if they have any jobs (drive over the green icon at the entrance of each company). (or) Solution: Use the ferry or similar crossing. if the above solutions doesn't work please follow below link to reset your economy to get jobs

Suggestion name: Automatically kick players who spam their horn Suggestion description: After playing on Truckers MP several times, I have come to realise that in populated areas such as Calais, players tend to spam their horns several times, this causes other people to follow in their footsteps and do exactly the same thus resulting in a utopia of truck drivers sounding their horn. Example images: N/A Why should it be added? I feel that this feature is necessary for those who want peace of mind whilst trying to drive, without people blasting their horns. The horn is there for a reason, not for it to be sounded constantly. This feature will help reduce horn abuse at any cost.

Suggestion Name: Increase/remove the 200 player queue limit Suggestion Description: I propose that the queue limit should be increased to 400-500 players or be removed entirely and let you just join the queue straight away. Any example images: (Above) Why should it be added?: Trying to join the busy servers (EU1, EU2) can be extremely difficult during peak times, as the launcher doesn't let you join the queue if there are more than 200 players in it, the only solution is to click refresh which can take several minutes depending on your luck and is a major annoyance if you play the game often.

Suggestion Name : Add live traffic information team Suggestion Description : Creating an official traffic information team, alerting you directly in-game if a truck is stopped or if there is an accident. use a "general" voice + chat channel made for this and maybe even a radio station. This team's employees would go all over the map, seeking accident Any Example Images : No. Why should it be added : It would prevent accidents. Example : Two trucks crashed on the A5 to Liège (random) people (who go really fast) would crash into them and make the situation worse but if a member of the live traffic team was here, he would have posted a message like : "WARNING : A5 to Liège || Truck accident || 2 trucks involved || Please slow down thank you ^^" which would have alerted people and they wouldn't have crashed into the accident, making it worse. you new to Truckers MP? That is normal after an update. ETS gets updated ASAP and ATS gets updated whenever they can get around to it in the next week or month

Honestly, to me, an audible sound is either distracting or lost in ambient sound, so unless it was an option and not a standard thing, I’d be happy because I’d shut it off immediately. its more about common sense, if we add so many things to wan people, then people get lazy and do t act and think for themselves, so personally, if you don’t turn your lights on by the time the sun sets, then you are insta banned, people need to learn, not be hand held about what they should do, it’s like following too close, if the person in front hits the breaks and you are not able because you are too close, it’s your fault, you should learn the hard way through punishment to keep a distance, the same applies here, if people can’t be bothered to learn that when it gets to the evening and the sun starts to set, it’s time to put low beam lights on. The same can besakd for those who think it’s find to drive all night with high beams and bull bar lights and roof lights turned on, it’s not only blinding for a lot of people but distracting enough to cause a wreck. all this hand holding with warnings and sounds etc just plays to those who are lazy, it’s as simple as that in my opinion.
