  1. [COMMUNITY MODERATOR] @Averazon leaves the team due to personal reasons. Thank you for your time and effort.

  2. I'm ok with the update, since I respect all the rules, so the speed limiter is not a problem for me as I don't go over 80 km/h. Game moderators play the role of the police in game, and as in reality, police vehicles go faster when they're in service, so I think that to add realism the higher speed for them is a nice touch. I think most of the players still don't understand that TMP is based on simulation games, so you should play it respecting the road rules, sounds simple right? If you want to race with your truck, just go in the arcade servers.

  3. The "admins r so powerful, we no see fair treatment omfg" argument is getting old now. If you wish to floor it and hit every guard rail on your way too, then head to the Arcade servers, that's why we have them. 110km/h is already enough, this game is a simulator, but it seems many people here tend to think of it as The Crew where they fly off to the moon with their friends, which is far from what TMP and SCS intend to provide. What everyone fails to see here is that TMP tries to balance the thin line between "fun" and "realism", but unfortunately the majority of the community are trying to have flying trucks because they're desperately trying to accumulate as much money as possible to rank up in their VTC faster than their friends so they can flex and show off. Again, Arcade servers exist, if you would like to break your pedals speeding, then go ahead. Leave Simulation servers alone and away from the arcade-ish experience. As mentioned above, it's a simulator, not a racing game. There's something that people on the other side of the fence don't realize: there's a portion of the community that do not wish to see or associate with people who like to ridiculously speed through cities and smash into other trucks on the highway, there are players who would like to stay away from the madness happening on the road because of your speeding. That's why Arcade servers were made, to give space to the realism enthusiast drivers. Stay away from Simulation servers, that's what TMP is saying. The funniest part of this entire argument is that TMP provides us with two Arcade servers where collision and speed limit are disabled, yet with this generous addition from TMP, the community still demands to lift the speed limit, but where? In Simulation servers, that's indeed a joke and a wonderful tale I will have to share with a buddy in a bar. Harsh punishments are a major deterrent to rule-breakers, it discourages foul players from breaking the rules over and over. I truly wish for harsher punishments and lengthy bans.

  4. First of all , thank you for these long-awaited changes. In addition to these changes, which look amazing, I would suggest the following: Players with expired ban cannot log on to the simulation servers within 5-7 days from the expiration of the ban. But, Arcade servers servers should be available. Introduction of this restriction will increase the value of simulation servers, reduce the load for GM and increase the confidence of players who playing in the delivery of cargo, playing in sim gameplay, and not in the race, ramming and dangerous driving. Limited access to simulation servers can be seen as a cooling-off period and a sandbox where there is time to think things through and learn the rules.

  5. @Glada_Laxen Technically ETS2 and ATS are not true to real life, so trying to make a multiplayer that goes against the basic principles in the base game is wrong, I mean come on, if the game was really a true sim we wouldn’t be able to disable speed limiters or traffic fines or be able to adjust suspension stiffness and truck stability. The thing that a hat a lot of people get wrong is that they expect every player to fall into one of two categories, either someone who strictly does the exact speed limit and does everything quite literally by the book 100% of the time or someone is a troll/NFS fanatic and wants to do 120MPH everywhere, have no collisions and just generally not take anything seriously. The reality is, is that there are categories of players who sit in between the hardcore sim fans and the trolls, those who play by the rules but feel it monotonous to go 55mph or slower everywhere, yet still are responsible when it comes to managing their speed and position on the road, these are the people who are getting the proverbial short end of the stick with the whole “road to simulation” changes. The thing is, you can still “mess around” yet not ruin the “experience” for other people, like I said, a multiplayer is never black or white in terms of playstyles, there are always people who sit in between in the grey areas. A multiplayer, by definition, means multiple players, meaning multiple ways of approaching a situation and solving said situation, it’s bad for business to try and force everyone into one approach or another approach, I mean, how would you feel if TMP suddenly turned all four servers into no Collide, no limiter, no rule servers?

  6. Unfortunately, the GM team cannot accompany every single player at all times to act as their "guardian angel". We wish we could, but we are only human. We can't, and currently there is no way to "shield" anyone (closest thing are the arcade servers, which have no collision all across the map). That is not to say I don't understand your frustration, however. I do. I've been in your shoes, I know well what it is like. And I apologize for it. We do our job as best as we can to keep our servers free from griefers and we also trust our players will be obeying the rules they have agreed with when they signed up for TMP., but sometimes some people don't, and when they don't, well, it's unfortunate and things like what you described happen. I'll try to explain how reporting these bad players work and I'll try to keep it as short as I can so hopefully you can have a better time on our servers. When a GM is around a given incident and he/she sees when it happens, action will normally be taken against whoever has broken the rules right away, be it through a verbal warning, kick or a ban, whichever is applicable at the time for the specific offense committed. If a GM isn't nearby and thus, can't see what has happened, it is up to the player who was affected by the offense or another nearby player to make a report so the player who broke the rules can be punished accordingly. This can happen in two ways, though one is more effective than the other, being these ways the "in-game report" and the "web report". I'll go over them. In-Game Report This is when you are still connected to a server and report someone using the Tab menu. You select the player you want to report, the report reason(s) and click on "Report". This action will make the server "record" the last two minutes of movement data prior to the moment you created the report, and store it as a replay demo. This "movement data" works pretty much the same way replays in games such as Rocket League, Team Fortress 2, Mario Kart, etc. do. No actual video is recorded but rather, the server remembers all the movements of all the players in a radius of around 600 meters around you and recreates all of that as a replay. This type of report (in-game) is temporary, however. Once 50 of them are present in the system, the server will automatically start deleting older reports as they become 10 minutes old or more. When that happens, you get the message that no action was taken. In order to avoid that, a Game Moderator must be present in the server and available to claim that report in up to 10 minutes after it is created. Due to the high load of reports being created every minute, sometimes it is hard to get them all in time, so they unfortunately end up expiring. Though when one is claimed, the GM is able to watch a replay of the moment you reported, with the ability to pause, fast forward, skip through parts of the playback, move the camera to watch from any angle, etc. If the GM sees rules were indeed broken, he/she will apply the required punishment to whoever has broken the rules at that time. If a GM can't claim the report in time, however, it expires and is deleted automatically after 10 minutes (if there are 50 reports already in the system, otherwise it will sit idle until the 50 cap is reached or a GM is available to claim it). Web Report This is when you head over to https://truckersmp.com/reports and make a report on TMP's website. These reports never expire and they are always reviewed by our team of Game Moderators. These reports, however, require that you, the player, provide the evidence. And this is where recording your play sessions come into play as in most cases, a video of the incident you are reporting is necessary so the GM can see what happened and who did what and how. So yes, you do need to record the game in order to use the web report system. Do bear in mind, however, that sometimes it may take a few days until your report is checked by someone. Since GMs work in a first-in-first out fashion, older reports are dealt with first. Because there are many reports being created every minute, sometimes this process can take some time. But rest assured, every single report is checked in due time. Not one is ignored or deleted. There are many ways to record the game and you don't necessarily need to record 100% of it at all times. Players with a GTX series NVidia graphics card have free access to the ShadowPlay software, which when configured appropriately, can only record the last few seconds or minutes of game footage upon the press of a button (I use it, myself. I have mine set to record the last 2:30 minutes so whenever I press the button to save a clip, it creates a 2:30 minutes long video and only that. Nothing else). Players without access to this software still have other choices, though. FRAPS (as you mentioned, though personally I don't recommend it), Mirilis Action! (paid software), Debut Video Capture, OBS Studio (free and quite good) and many others. Most of them now offer a buffer replay (same as ShadowPlay) so you don't need to record at all times and end up having a bunch of heavy videos taking up space in your hard drive. If you do record everything, however, well, you can still get around it by simply going over the footage you recorded and deleting anything that isn't relevant after your play session. Actually, back in the day, I used to do that, myself. I'd use Action and at the time, it still didn't have a replay buffer function, so I'd have to manually record everything (this was before I became GM, of course). The way I'd do it was by hitting record whenever there was someone nearby and then stopping the recording if there was nobody. Then once I was done playing, I'd simply delete all the videos from that play session, unless there was something I wanted to keep for a reason or another, in which case I'd look for which clip had the footage I wanted and then simply delete the rest. It is a bit of a daunting thing to do, I won't lie, but it works and gets the job done until you can use a better method. I apologize for the long text. I hope I have solved your doubts. If not, please feel free to ask away! Either me or another GM/user will gladly respond. And of course, welcome to TruckersMP!

  9. The reason the Arcade servers are empty is that... hm, let me think for a minute... barely anyone wants to play them. The 5 out of 100 are the Arcade players, not the Simulation players, we're not complaining, the Arcade bunch are, we're totally fine here, and we're loving it. The "simulation" experience we have is that we abide by rules of the road, by TMP rules and most importantly we don't bother fellow drivers. As said above, we play the game how it's supposed to be played. You fail to discern that this was done not to just balance the servers and the opposing sides, but to also drastically decrease the number of filed reports by throwing the cocaine-influenced drivers into their own dimension where they can eat each other alive and call themselves names in their own distinct languages while running red lights, so that the peaceful and remarkably calm simulation drivers can have their peace. Hence why the collision and speed limit are disabled on the Arcade servers, meaning there'll be a significant decrease in reports per day. I should tell you the same, why not play singleplayer with mods that clear out AI traffic so you can have your own fun? See my point here? We all get to play TMP, with our own separate servers suitable for both players on either side of the fence, or we don't play at all. The problem I see here is that the Arcade bunch want to root the Simulation bunch out, and I don't see why they want that. Two different types of players that can't be together, so when they have their separate respective servers, either of them complains, isn't that absurd? Let me do this real quick for you and others, since words are quite complicated to apprehend: Separate servers: fewer reports, fewer douchebags on the road. Shared servers: more reports, more douchebags on the road. And... the tables turn and the Simulation players complain about the presence of the Arcade players. You said it, an admin. That's like someone complaining why cops run red lights when they're code 3.

  10. Singleplayer or not, it’s still a game, as long as you are not breaking the rules, I.e, not ramming people, not being useless traffic, not driving the wrong way, not excessively save editing to the point that your hit box is 2 lanes wide, not impersonating an admin etc etc, that does not mean you HAVE to play like it’s a 1:1 ratio against the real world. Like I’ve said before, an im getting tired of saying, every player who joins TMP should NOT have to play in 1 of 2 playstyles, people should be allowed to play how they want, WITHIN REASON, if you want to play 100% realistically, go ahead, you want to play semi realistically, meaning you follow all road rules, except speed limits, you should be allowed to, want to play as if it’s nfs, go ahead, there’s arcade servers for you, currently, it’s a case of, either you play 100% legit or you play like it’s nfs, those who play in the middle are the ones, like me, who are being messed with. Like me I said before, just because you want to do 30-50 mph on every road, doesn’t mean everyone else wants to, multiplayer, is MULTI player. It’s not a case of “one size fits all”, at least it shouldn’t be, Also, please refrain from thinking I personally ruin other people’s gameplay or have no intention of giving any respect towards other players, because you are 110% wrong, just because I like to play casually and drive faster than the speed limit when road conditions allow, does not mean I’m out to ram every person or can’t keep control of my vehicle. Not to mention, telling someone “if the sim servers aren’t your playstyle, go play arcade” is the height of rudeness because people should be allowed to do what they want, not what someone else thinks they should do. Like ive said before, yet again, having a server that’s dedicated to those who want to play 100% like real life is fine, having a server for those who only bought ETS2 so they could mimic Need for Speed, they have a server, that’s fine, but there is a vast number of people within this community or would like a mix of both servers, it’s not about, oh you want to go and cause trouble, not at all, it’s about being able to enjoy the game for what it is and still feel like you are responsible for your actions. The problem people have is that unless you want to play like a real HGV driver, you’re stuck with a dead no Collide server, that’s the problem, as I keep saying, there are more than 2 ways to play ETS2 and ATS, it cant be made any more simple than that. The thing that bugs me the most is people who feel they are obligated to try and ram down people’s throats that ETS2 and ATS should be driven like real life, as I said before, the games are not designed to be 100% realistic, for starters you can’t get out of your truck and do anything by hand, you have no physical damage or dirt, you don’t need to apply for a license or fill out manifests and legal driving documents, you don’t have to take mandatory breaks every few hours by law, you don’t have to deal with break downs or tires blowing out or loads shifting, you don’t have to deal with adverse weather conditions or have to consider winds while driving certain loads around, the list goes on and on, hence why ETS2 and ATS are deemed “casual simulators” because they are semi realistic, but can be played casually by any person from any place in the world.

  11. E x a c t l y. I repeat myself: no one wants to drive on an empty map, especially by the speed limit. I don't want to drive by the speed limit, but at the same time I'm driving as cautious as possible. Some people said above and I'm 100% with them: why do we have to separate the community in "simulation" and "arcade"? 9 out of 10 people would say it was A LOT better before those "changes". Harsher punishments? Lmao, as long as you keep the same punishment system and those "permanent bans" for reckless driving and so on AT THE ADMIN'S DISCRETION, you're not going to solve anything. This mod was a lot better before they banned save editing. And I wasn't complaining then, as many other people. I heard your argument with "The Crew players" a googolplex times, and I'm tired of it from the second person who said that. For now, the arcade servers and even the second simulation server are completely useless, and TMP's Staff should close them tbh. If they're not listening to the community, they're not going anywhere good. Remember, WE'RE PLAYING THEIR MOD, NOT THEM. I don't think it's a wise thing to please 5 people out of 100. Also, one more thing. If you want the so called "simulation experience", uninstall TMP Launcher, get some mods and play singleplayer. I don't get it why you're playing TMP for the simulation, when the only fun things are to drive on C-D / overpopulated areas and doing convoys with your friends / VTCs. If you name it "simulation" driving on empty roads, it's your choice to play "simulation" on empty roads. You're never going to see a simulation multiplayer game, either if it's called TMP, IFMP or HGVMP. I thought the main reason people are playing multiplayer games is to play the game with other people and have fun with them, not to play alone.

  12. So when TMP divides the community into two: The Crew enthusiasts who can't run it so they play ETS2 on 20 FPS instead, and the actual truck enthusiasts who genuinely enjoy simulation, you claim that they're forcing the community to play the mod their own way... yet you seemingly stand behind the removal of speed limit and the addition of collision for a more arcade-ish experience, but that's not forcing us to play your own style? That's like saying: I don't want to play by your rules, you play by mine, even though it's your ball. But wait a minute, what happened to the Arcade servers? I thought that's what the truck-driver-on-cocaine bunch wanted, no? You get yours, we get ours, what's the problem here? Or is it because they're unpopulated so you get bored driving alone in the dark?

  14. SCS did not develop TruckersMP. TruckersMP developers have set up 4 servers. 2 simulator servers and 2 arcade servers. Obviously, the simulator servers are to be played as if it was real life, to simulate real life driving. Right? If you do not wish to play simulator-like, then you have the Arcade servers that are specifically made for that purpose. If you don't want to play by the rules, then you have nothing to do on the simulator server. Unless what you want to do is mess around and ruin the experience for other players. Where you'd end up rightfully banned.

  15. No, that's where you're wrong. The "fast engines" aren't made so you get to experience The Crew, they're made so you can haul a higher mass. The implication here is that the trolls aren't playing the game how it's supposed to be played. The only reason they're here is that there's no AI traffic so they get to enjoy speeding, we all know that any reckless driver would wreck their own truck within minutes of driving in singleplayer, or do you think driving 150km/h is safe? As beforementioned, it's a simulator, not a racing game. Everything serves the purpose of immersing the player in an authentic trucking experience. That's why we have Arcade 1 & 2, because people do not understand that it's not a racing game, which is why TMP has the right to keep them out of SIM servers, despite TMP being their very own client, they can change it as they see fit. Wanna have a racing experience? Head to the Arcade servers. End of subject.

  18. Hi there, @Myau91. I'm sorry to hear that you're confused about what you're supposed to do next with the reports that you have filed against violators of the in-game rules. What I would strongly recommend is downloading a recording application, and then upload it to something like YouTube, where you can post the link from YouTube into the report section of the website, which can be viewed here once you log into the website. Once again, I do feel sorry to hear that you're confused about this, and moderators are not exactly available 24/7 to assist with reports, which results in timeouts. I hope this solution helps you, and that you feel that you can drive safely within TruckersMP!

  19. so you guys continue with "road to simulation" and put speed limit to whole "comunity" as u guys say ... and implement for admins 160 km/h because u know that 110 km/h is bad... and so with that u wash your hands, because for u (the admins) its simple u don't have restriction u drive with 160 km/h and force the rest to drive with 110 km ... nice update nice lesson .. good for u bad update from the start.

  20. Hello truckers and fans of TruckersMP! In order to improve our live streams and make them more structured we are introducing a new stream calendar. To do this we have set up a Teamup calendar. Why Teamup? Teamup allows us to create a calendar on which we can have different people adding and sharing events. It also provides us with the ability to set up different access types for different user profiles, set up different calendar views and for users to add individual events to their own calendars on different platforms and apps to receive notifications in advance for when an event is about to start. Stream calendar You can find all information about the upcoming streams on the different TruckersMP channels in the calendar below. For each stream you can find the following information: Stream title, presenter, game and description (optional). Each stream is also marked with a colour marking the channel that we will be using to stream on. Each stream will be added and announced at least 1 day in advance to give you time to add it to your agenda. Note: all times shown in this calendar are UTC. Use of each channel Twitch Casual streams Events Youtube Q&A streams Casual streams Events Multistream (announced in advance) (Large) Events Saving an event to your own calendar service Teamup allows you to save events to your own calendar so that you will get a notification when the event is about to start. You can find all information on how to do this here: https://calendar.teamup.com/kb/export-events-other-calendars/ See you out there! TruckersMP team

  21. Suggestion Name: TMP Profile - Option to hide SteamID & Steam Account Suggestion Description: Make it possible to hide our SteamID and Steam Account (link) on our TruckersMP Profile, in Settings menu. Of course except Staff members! After I used the Support system, and got a detailed answer to my question about it (Thanks btw. ), I started to make this suggestion. Why should it be added?: I think that, the SteamID and clickable Steam Account link on our Profile are violates our rights and privacy. Maybe with this little and possible change We would prevent harassment(s) on our Steam Profile. It would not be necessary to set our Steam Profile as Private to prevent harassment(s) and any other similar unwanted activity by being outside the TruckersMP servers. People can simple search on our player names and find our SteamID and clickable Steam Account link now, without registration. Any example images: I made this example image, as we can see that everybody can check our steamID and click on our steam profile. No need to be logged in or register an account. https://prnt.sc/or18o0 It would be a nice option: https://prnt.sc/or1ara Im curious what do you think about this Feel free to vote on it, and if it will be opened to discussion make a comment!

Suggestion Name: VTC custom skins Suggestion Description: As many of you Truckers know there are many VTCS in the Trucking community with there own Custom Skins, my suggestion is that we can add them custom skins to multiplayer. im aware that if they were placed into the game , everyone would just put them on and use them. however maybe having a system that only the users that are verified with said VTC are able to use said skin. something like Steam ID has to be placed onto the system that allows that user to use said VTC skin. and then there the users that with say but i want to use them but because im not apart of a vtc then its unfair , now everyone has the choice to sign up to be apart of a VTC. Any example images: i will post the VTC Skin from VIVA Trucking Why should it be added?: i can only say even more realism to the Multiplayer game Thank you for taking the time to read this post Happy trucking

  25. @megadethsteve666, how you like to play singleplayer is completely up to you, since you are alone and the only one who matters in your game is yourself. Whether you want a more realistic simulation or a unrealistic simulation, as you can play both in ETS2 and ATS. However, when you play multiplayer, it is not just about you. That is why you need to play by the same rules everyone has to play by. If you do not like those rules, then you don't have to play, or more importantly, you don't get to play as you would end up banned. But, fortunate for you, TruckersMP also offers servers where you may drive however you like. Where you may still drive with other players, at the same time as you can play however you like. The thing I don't think you understand is that the servers related to the "Road to Simulator" changes are literally called Simulator 1 and Simulator 2. Where you are supposed to drive by the book the best you can to create the best experience for those that want to follow traffic rules and laws. If that is not for you, then you are very much welcome to play on the Arcade servers where your preferred playstyle does not ruin the gameplay of many others. The players who drives properly on the Simulator servers does not ruin the experience of other players other than them having to slow down to match their speed, but that is okay, because this is a multiplayer driving simulator mod, so obviously there are going to be traffic. And again, if you do not like traffic, you are more than welcome to play on the Arcade servers where you may skip traffic by playing in non-collision. But, the Sim 1 and Sim 2 servers still offers some unrealistic gameplay, for example you may drive 110km/h, you may run through red traffic light as long as you yield for those who have a green, you may overtake over straight lines, and many more things that you normally would not be allowed to do in real life. Again, if that does not your playstyle, then you may still play the mod the way you like, on the Arcade servers. The thing is, they have listened. They have listened to both parts of the community. Those that want to have a simulator-like experience have the Simulator servers, and those that want to drive and complete jobs fast got their Arcade servers. What exactly is the problem here? @Odion It's either or. Either play as a simulation, aka real life, or not. And on the simulator servers you play as if it's real life. And on the arcade servers you can play however you like. So what is stopping you from playing on the Arcade servers?

  31. I don't know how to confirm it. If with a message like this, then yes, they gave me a big manual how to act. Thank you very much <3

  33. Trigger happy Admins will be punished internally and might lose their rank if they do so. Also an "unfair" ban will be removed or reduced in such cases, so no issue here. Also it is important to understand that trigger-happy doesn't mean abusive. You can be trigger-happy banning or kicking people if you enfirce the rules strictly. Nope. It's fairly easy in 99%+ of the cases. Clearly a broken rule as marco already stated. And what stops you from playing in single-player?

  34. We spend our free time not only to play but also to keep it (TruckersMP multiplayer mod) alive! Don't forget this. You spend your free time to serve us as a community, we spend our free time to enjoy your mod. But how we should enjoy it, when you set apparently unfair rules which makes the game less enjoyable for the majority of the players? Is it fair to limit the joy of players which play mostly fair with a speedlimit of 110km/h? We as a community play on your servers and we use your service.. and I and many others out there are very thankful for that opportunity! But you are supposed to serve us and be thankful for our "service" on your servers as well! Because without us, the TruckersMP forums and online servers would be pretty empty. Keep this in mind. And you should consider that it's not fair and right to decite significant gameplay changes without the votes of the community. Was there any vote about the speedlimit? Was there any vote about anything related to the gameplay and rules? You decited everything behind our backs. And that's not fair. This is not democratic. That's a communism and dictator behavior. The only thing that is allowed here is to give feedback and nothing else. We can not even vote about important changes. "be able to see the bigger picture and not only see what matters for yourself or a closed circle of people." ??? Closed circle of people? I see almost every 2nd negative opinion about your rule changes. And it's not about me.... it's about the community! I speak not only for me... I speak for the communty.

  35. @Greenfox According to your idea we would inevitably see people driving through each others in all servers and intentionally trolling other players with the ghost mode by slowing down and speeding up triggering the ghost mode to be enabled and disabled constantly. Without considering all the unattentive players that would be totally unaware of their ghost mode and drive through or against other players. Same goes for the ghost mode to prevent blocking, to counter that I could just drive back and forth a road by going 2 km/h and still be able to avoid the kick for hours, or I'd get kicked while sitting at traffic lights, for stopping to refuel or simply parking for a few minutes. As I said above, we are very well aware of what we do and it's likely that if we haven't done an idea you might have, it's because we already thought about it years ago and fully know it won't work as it should. Even then, we're open to suggestions but post them in the appropriate places if you want them to be listened at and most of all, do start to think that TruckersMP staff members are not here spending our free time to annoy people and intentionally overcomplicating things, but doing stuff according to accurate analysis of our data, from bans, to reports and usual driving behaviour. I often have to find myself to say that when TruckersMP provides all these services for free (forums, support, servers, feedback, knowledge base system, events, ...) it is extremely unpleasant to us to be considered as scatterbrained people that do stuff with barely any cognition of how stuff works. And despite all that, look at the effort the whole team makes to make everything run: you spend your free time to play, we spend our free time to ensure you can play. A suggestion for many people that will always be useful for everyone is to be openminded and be able to see the bigger picture and not only see what matters for yourself or a closed circle of people.

  36. Hope that TMP will roll out AI traffic as a client for a small audience with slots well 10 people. What will raise TMP most of the community players do not play this mod because the bad rules are built and a bunch of idiots. And no desire to play with such as a rule, attempt to increase the period of bans on hand-you can't play nobody.! But if you release the client as a room will add a lot of players, also the client should be able to use the modification of the card, tuning, and everything else that will give a full + TMP and no longer any server will not be needed for trolls will simply do not care, because players play in a closed session

  37. Honestly, for my I’m all for tougher punishments on specific incidents, I mean, there’s no sense in permanent banning someone for minor offences, offences that don’t do harm to others or are purely by accident. My fear is, is that all it takes is a trigger happy admin to start abusing the tougher rules by insta banning people for things that don’t need that sort of excessive punishment, all that will do is deter more normal drivers away from wanting to play TMP, yet the people that the rules are supposed to deter just carry on causing problems over and over again. The issue with with this new concept is that, although it may get rid of a lot of trolls who are physically seen by an admin, but there will still be trolls who cause problems either when there’s no admin online or in areas that admins do t regularly check, that allows the trolls to spend however long it takes for someone to record them, make a web report and to have that report claimed and reviewed, which might take a few hours, but most likely will take a few days if not weeks, thus making stricter punishments, in that sense, null and void. Furthermore, it’s extremely difficult to tell what can be deemed intentional and what can be deemed an accident, it’s next to impossible, so essentially people will drive in TMP constantly worrying about if something happens and they end up accidentally running into someone, even though they have no intention to cause harm to anyone, they can be potentially banned under the new rules. Like I said in the previous Road to Simulation, there’s more than one cause of most issues seen on the servers, but at there are a lot of different options open in terms of solutions to said problems, you can’t expect that the most obvious solution to be the one that solves everything. Sometimes it’s better to go back to the drawing board and tackle the problems from a better position, especially when you are in charge of a MULTIplayer mod, a mod that, for years, has had a fairly positive community, and that’s the thing, TMP is just that, a community, and with a community, compromise is the name of the game, it should always be about the WHOLE community and what they want, it’s all about keeping the vast majority of people happy. At the moment there really isn’t any definition on what TMP is anymore, the servers are a mess, at least before the changes there was a safe place for those who wanted to play hardcore simulation mod and be left in peace for the most part, now where can they go? Sim 1 is just a renamed EU2, sim2 is like an overspill from sim 1, it’s not quite as crazy, but it still has the same issues, then there’s the arcade server which barely ever break a few hundred players total during an average day, kinda shows that people don’t like the idea of having no Collide. i mean, if staff have the attitude of “were not ever going to change the server rules back” well then enjoy having the exact same problems you’ve had since 2014 because all we have done is gone full circle back to the start of TMP again,.

  39. Why would the speed limiter need to be raised for GAME MODERATORS only, seriously guys... Listen to the community, not yourselves!

  40. When you realize that your speed limit you killed the desire to play in the proportion of adequate players who played on their own. I propose to make a change to the following plan, remove the speed limit completely and issue it only to those who receive bans. Why should adequate players suffer because of others? I have this style of play, if there is no one on the roads, I always scored up to 150 km, I have little time for the game and want to perform as many orders. Yes, thank you that you discouraged me from playing your mod and I did not come with it after a terrible update in the history of fashion, but sooner or later you will realize your mistake.
