Game Moderation Team Recruitment
From the 26th August to 09th September at midnight, we are going to be looking for talented individuals to join our Game Moderator team.
Over the past years, our community has grown significantly. With currently over 3.5 million registered users and thousands of players trucking every day, it's for certain that we have lots of fans out there. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the TruckersMP experience. Game Moderators play an important role on TruckersMP. They are the community faces that users see every day, and they are a port of call for helping and assisting with questions, problems, and difficulties that users may be experiencing.
The Game Moderation Team enforces our in-game rules across all servers, dealing with in-game reports and web reports. Each Game Moderator will independently review content while enforcing an appropriate punishment to the player with valid evidence. You must remember that work needs to be kept to a high-quality standard and communication and teamwork is key.
At first, you will start as a Trainee. This role consists of 1:1 training with experienced trained staff.
Once you have successfully completed your training, you will be promoted to the Report Moderator position. You will gain permissions to review website reports and you will be able to deal with your ban appeals by applying what has been taught during your training. During the trial period, your work will be constantly checked by your Game Moderator Leader, Game Moderator Trainer and Game Managers.
If your Team Leader thinks your quality is good, with no major issues, you will be fully promoted to the Game Moderator position where you will have full permissions in-game to carry out your duties.

You are responsible, professional and are resilient to critique;
You are knowledgeable about the game and can provide tips to other players about the game and help with questions or issues;
Have solid knowledge and understanding of TruckersMP and its rules including European and American road laws;
Must be active in-game;

Ability to reach activity requirements.
Hard and soft skills that are considered as a plus when we consider applications but are not mandatory requirements:
Being able to fully understand multiple languages;

How the recruitment process works
The system will not allow you to apply if you have any bans in the past 365 days;
You can only send in one application during this recruitment period;
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee getting recruited as there are intentionally hidden requirements too;
The process of becoming a full Game Moderator will be explained to you once you are a part of the team;
You are
Fair: you are able to make a difference between good and bad, accidental, and intentional.
Productive and motivated: you understand that the community relies on you and that you need to get your job done as quickly as possible without mistakes.
Mature: you are able to handle feedback and complaints and improve where possible.
Consistent: You are required to maintain a consistently high level of work throughout the GM position. The GM position demands more from you than any other position on the team.
Professionalism: You are required to be professional and you are the face of this team.
Tips
Use correct grammar and spelling while writing your application.
Know the rules before applying.
Be honest about anything that is complicated. If there is a situation that you believe may hinder your chances, it is better to tell us rather than having us find out.
Be sure to remain confident and positive! The process isn’t easy, but it is well worth it.
Follow the rules at any given time! Even if you make it to the interview stage, it does not exempt you from the rules.
Even if you don’t succeed at first, it is important to show how much you want to help the community!
Join discussions and interactions within the game, forum or discord.
If your application is poorly written or it is hard to follow your points, it is likely that your application will be declined. Take your time and answer the questions in full detail.
Have a clean history, preferably with no warnings or punishments.
Things you should not do
Do not let anyone help you with your application. You should also not ask for help. This will hinder your chances.
Do not think that it will be an easy journey, there is a lot to it.
Do not give up if you have not received a response to your application yet. Patience is the key! Sometimes your work and quality are being monitored.
Forum post count is no longer a requirement, however, forum or discord activity is required.
You can apply for this position here.
End of recruitment: 08th Sep 23:59
Good luck!
