Hai everyone! Regarding the new update of the rules in order to support ETS2/ATS, the rules about Save Editing has been updated and changed in order to make it clear and fair for all. - Local mods are now allowed. The other users will see your truck as a default one, depending of what you add, but always keeping in mind the vehicle must be functional. > Local only sound; (OK) > Local only interior; (OK) > Local GPS interior; (OK) > Local only vehicles; (OK) - (Examples: Replacement of vehicles with the ones with lettering on the windows, replacement of car. What other users will see will be the normal/default version the vehicle they are built on.) Of course there are exceptions, that is why you need always ask if you are unsure! This will be added to the Save Editing topic, and if you have any doubt, please, ask there. Don't get banned unfairly. Ask! Don't be shy! In order to ask your doubt do it here: (TOO MUCH INFO)

Hello Truckers, Today we're back with yet another announcement regarding the forums. This time being it's the Suggestions side of it. We have noticed a lot of new suggestions lately. Since the New Suggestions forums was quite messy with all sorts of suggestions together, we have thought of a solution for this. What have we changed? We have completely reconstructed the suggestions section to make it all more clear and understandable. Beneath is a list of the different subforums we now have for suggestions: Add-On Suggestions Forum Suggestions Game Suggestions Website Suggestions Other Suggestions Subforums explained As some people might not fully understand what the different sections are for, I will explain it. Add-On Suggestions Here we have a section for all Add-On Team related suggestions. Any suggestion for a new car, map edits or any other related suggestion will go here. Forum Suggestions In this section you can make a suggestion about something you would like to see changed about the forums. Game Suggestions This might sound similar to the Add-On section, but here you suggest things you may want to change about the game chat, tab list or other related things. Website Suggestions Pretty self-explanatory: Here you suggest changes that could be made about the website. Other Suggestions Have a suggestion that doesn't fit in any of the above sections? You can suggest that in this section. These sections will work the same way the old New Suggestions section did. Your permissions allow you to place a new suggestion, however you cannot reply to any of these topics unless it's in the Open for Discussion section. A very good morning to you all, a new day, a new start, but same repetitive topics... #Feels sorry for forum mods right now.

Some saturday trucking, just doing deliveries around the map and listening to TFM. Its quite enjoyable. Mostly to distract me from the fact my left ear is completely blocked and I feel kinda horrid. But ill live. Anyway I took some screenshots of my truck in the early morning sunrise in a parking area on that big crossing between Amsterdam and Groningen that goes over all that water. Dark Souls

Today we'd like to focus on the biggest city in the upcoming ETS2 game expansion Beyond the Baltic Sea. Saint Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia with over 5 million inhabitants. Its size and its location on the Neva river just at the head of the Gulf of Finland proved to be a difficult task for the map design team. With the scale of our virtual world, we need to distill the essence of real-world locations down to the most characteristic elements along the path the player will travel. With so many huge pieces of architecture competing for our attention, both historic landmarks as well as modern transport infrastructure, we had to make some tough choices. Hopefully, the local patriots will be fine with our selection. As the main artery road passes through densely populated areas, we had to use every trick in the book to build and optimize the city for the game. In particular, the integration of the Western High-Speed Diameter was a real challenge. It's very new, and initially, we had troubles finding the necessary photo references to it. We have done our best to squeeze enough of it into the in-game city plan to make the right impression if its size and its aesthetics. View the full article
