Suggestion Name: ADVANCED GHOST MODE Suggestion Description: The ghost mode system is so good but it's impossible to notice that from far away. It's really hard to see someone spawned on the road. If someone just joined the game and if he's in ghost mode, there should be a mark next to his nickname that tells he's in ghostmode and it can last for some seconds. It might be same for the player who joins the game, he should see how many seconds left on his screen till ghost mode ends. Open Beta of Euro Truck Simulator 2 Update 1.30 is ready for you to try! How come we have skipped a version number? As both our flagship truck sims were getting ready for a major DLC release relatively short time apart, we had to run two parallel testing tracks. Code and data "freeze" for ETS2 happened several weeks after ATS was already "forked" for the release of its 1.29 update. As a result, Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be skipping a version number, while American Truck Simulator will catch up to the same 1.30 codebase version shortly after the update of its older brother. Anyway, ETS2 Update 1.30 is bringing plenty of new, cool, and, of course, free stuff that we'd like to discuss... MAIN FEATURES Map improvements - city of Milano was completely remade, the whole northern part of Italy improvedWe refreshed the old part of Italy which is already present in the base game to make it fit better with the quality of the upcoming Italia DLC. Consider it a sneak-peek into what it is going to be like. Overhaul of navigation algorithmsNew navigation code has been introduced in American Truck Simulator already and it is a huge change that required major programming effort and ended up being a large improvement over the old one. The navigation is now capable of sending the driver back along the same stretch of the road if need be, which may seem trivial, but it actually required a total redesign of the underlying data structures. We are looking forward to your feedback on this. Time zones supportETS2 now also supports time zones, which is going to be handy for further growth of the map. For now, this change will be affecting the UK only, since other ETS2 countries are in the same time zones. My current truck has almost reached 50,000 KM and I normally switch my main truck every time one reaches that mark. I was going to switch to a red Iveco Hi-Way I bought a long time ago and never driven (it looks quite nice) but you know... maybe I might switch back to a Scania, this time. I haven't had a Scania as my main truck for almost three years, now. My current main ride: Fun fact: "DAF" stands for "Dragons Are Fantastic". Once it reaches 50k KM I might change to one of these: I REALLY like the dragon paintjob but so far, perhaps a plain metallic red (the same shades of red I have on my Scout and a couple other trucks) might suit this particular truck a little better. I don't know, we'll see what it can look like once SCS finishes programming all of the customization options this truck should access to. Or maybe the dragon paintjob from the Halloween DLC. That one also looks pretty good on this Scania! Too bad not many people have that DLC, 'cause if I use it on MP, they won't see my beautiful paintjob. :c

Just drove from Kiel to Milano in my new gorgeous looking truck! Glad to have this as my new main truck and I am looking forward for more accessories coming out for it!

Made a quick video showing off the tuning options on the Scania R. As for what it means by ZF 16 speeds, well all the not popular trucks have proper 16 speed transmissions now although it's geared more for heavy loads than one for high speed use

Unbelievable, the Next Gen Scania looks quite amazing but once again SCS disappoints with not adding proper sounds to their vehicles such as indicator sounds in this case again regarding Scania. I mean how hard can it be to add a proper indicator sound to the truck...

Pre-ordered my Scania online and now at a Scania Dealership to pick it up!
