I usually turn off the radio because there are people who use a lot of slang words.

Both of them, u know, sometimes surrounding doesn't allow u to use your mic, and I can just type and communicate with others lol
CB for loong sentences
Chat for very short sentences (If on the move) longer if not on the move ofc.
But ofcourse, I'll answer where I get interacted from Even if I'll have to stop my truck
i tend to just turn off my cb radio as soon as login. because usually there is someone either yelling in their mic, blasting music or what ever. and i just don't like that. if i need someone ingame i just quickly typ them a message. usually i just use discord because the main people i drive with are people i'm friends with or i'm in the same VTC with.
I usually typing cuz the output of my microphone sound like a earthquake with aliens lol so to avoid this to all of you, I prefer using chat box.
I prefer chatting via text because I usually turn off CB Radio while driving on populated areas.
Every time I have had the CB active I always get some random squeaker squealing down the mic that he has crashed and is blaming everyone bar himself, text chat is just miles better, not to dis the CB as I have had some fun moments talking to others on it but for general chat the text chat is the old reliable for me.
I think text is good enough. I don't like having speakers on because some drivers are horning a lot, and I can't listen to horn anymore. So I also don't hear CB radio.
I still have problems speaking english. My written english is ok, but usually I can't understand what other people say.
Voice is far more old-fashioned than typing. Sarcasm aside, typing, even though it's fiddly. If I want to shout at someone I do it in a fashion no-one else can hear.
From the replies it appears that both are generally used, Personally typing in my opinion is the best, The CB is used by people SCEAAAMING pointless abuse at players and trying to talk you just get talked over.
Most of the time I communicate with other people through Text / Typing, I am getting to CB for now, although I leave CB off during some trips that pass through cities with many players.
Por Voz puxa muito pra simulação igual na vida real
for not to disturb anyone ı prefer;text
I communicate oft on text. but also via CB on Channel 9
I prefer text
When using CB/Voice in many places, other players will feel very noisy, so I often use typing communication
Depends on the occasion, often by CB and hard to understand what people say, so I prefer to chat
I use Discord and Teamspeak
I'd love CB a lot more if people would use it like an actual CB, maybe on the other, more quiet servers. Mainly, I use text, but I sometimes use CB too,. I can usually be found lurking on channel 1
For me, it's dependent on the situation.
If i'm moving slow or parked I'll type, if I am driving with traffic around I'll use CB. (Unless traffic is not moving)
mostly typing, but in our vtc we have our own discord server and a we use the cb aswell,
I tend to do a bit of both as it depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes using CB is easier whilst driving so it saves me slowing down using Keyboard Steering but when I'm using my Steering Wheel - I do Text Chat :).
