Greetings truckers, it’s time for some egg-citing news! The TruckersMP yearly Easter Egg Hunt is back, and this time with some egg-cellent new additions that will be sure to scramble your heads. Last year, the community came together to help Haulie track down the missing Easter eggs they ordered and we were egg-static to see they found all of them! This year, we have heard some disturbing news from our partners instead - sneaky bunnies have been playing practical yolks, and trying to poach their eggs and whisk them away! Drivers have been absolutely terri-fryed, some even becoming shell-shocked, cracking under the stress and refusing to keep hauling! Remember: this is no yolking matter! The situation is getting dire with the eggs running the risk of going rotten. So, we need your help to find and locate them, before these egg-o-maniac bunnies take them away! Do you think you’re cracked up to it? The mission is simple! Our partners have informed us of the general area where the bunnies have been operating. The eggs are still located there and some of their missing trailers too! There are 6 eggs to be found: the violet, green, blue, yellow, orange and red eggs. Besides that, there are also three partner trailers that need to be found from ProMods, TruckersFM and DBus. Drivers will be with each of them, however some will be rolling around! DLC Required: None! How to play! 6 eggs and 3 partner trailers are stuck in Central Europe. Finding them is essential! If you are one of the top three players to find all 6 eggs AND 1 partner trailer the fastest, you will win a special prize! The eggs and partner trailers are represented by our Event team, with their player tag matching the colour of the egg they are hauling, e.g. 'Yellow Egg!', or a White coloured tag if they are hauling a partner trailer, e.g. ‘ProMods Trailer’ They will not appear on the tab menu nor the TruckersMP Map, so your only way to find them is by being vigilant, and looking out for them on your GPS! How does it work? Launch TruckersMP, select Euro Truck Simulator 2 and connect to the Easter Egg Hunt 2024 server. Prepare for the start at 15:00 UTC Click here for more time zones. and be aware that player collisions will be disabled. Meetup with your fellow egg-hunters in any city listed on the play area. Any company yard is fine. Leave your trailers in your garage, as you won't be needing them. Remember: speed is key! You will have four hours, from 15:00 UTC - 19:00 UTC, to make your journey throughout Central Europe. The decision of which road to take is up to you. Garage travelling is permitted. When you have found an egg or a partner trailer, toggle your tab menu ON. Then take a screenshot by pressing F12, to prove you found it. You must be able to see the egg or partner trailer, as well as your tab menu in order to fully complete the find. When you have found all six eggs AND at least one partner trailer, you are eligible to submit your entry into the competition by completing our form. Prizes! Hello! On 3 June 2023, you launched the first iteration of Featured Zone, which lasted just over one month. Despite being in Calais, where there is already a lot of traffic, I still think it was a promising trial for what could become a successful way to bring traffic away from C-D and to otherwise-less-traveled regions. However, since the event there has been almost no mention of Featured Zone by the TruckersMP Team. It has been so long since the event that some players have already forgotten about it. Going forward, is the goal to schedule these once or twice a year, like Real Operations, or will they be happening more frequently? I personally would love to see more of these every few months (or even more often than that for shorter 2-week-long events). Also, do you have a timeline for when we might see the next Featured Zone? Some event organisers, such as GPE & Prime Logistics, are able to host weekly convoys that nearly always get over 100 players. One thing I have heard from people who organise these convoys though, is that they are limited to only being able to request 1 event server per month. I think it would be beneficial to them if they could use the Event Server system more often! Would you consider allowing Event Server requests for these event organisers more often? Especially on days where there is plenty of servers available. Thanks for taking your time to answer this question!

When ATS released Feb 2, 2016, Oxnard Crossroads was the most popular place on ATS. Then, the deterrent reasons came along that killed off ATS to about 50 players today (45 at the time of writing this). https://traffic.krashnz.com/ats/us-sim Vegas is no longer the popular hangout town. 3 are in it at the time of this. With 1 scattered in Montana, 3 in Texas, and 0 elsewhere. Leading to desolate roads 98% of the map. How do you plan on restoring player population back to ATS and make it as lively as ETS 2's Sim 1 is? Just for comparison, <100 players on ATS daily. About 3.5k players on ETS 2 daily. I understand ATS' map is paid DLC. But, it doesn't need updating (except for when SCS forgets a road or two). And, ATS' trucks are more bulky. But still, ATS is just as great of a game as ETS 2.

Hello, Did you ever realize that you were creating more than just a multiplayer game expansion, but rather a true mega-project? I'm intrigued to know how challenging it has been to keep this project afloat, without going into financial details, but rather focusing on the technical and management challenges to enable millions of users to enjoy the game today. Additionally, could you share what the experience of developing something of this magnitude has been like and how your vision has evolved since then?

Hey, SCS has indeed announced that areas closer to Duisburg and the CD road are being revamped. If SCS removes these parts of the CD road, then that's how it is. Our map edits in the area are meant to facilitate the current amount of traffic. If there are changes, we will first adopt SCS's new version and then evaluate whether map edits are needed. Please also keep in mind that only a very small part of the CD road is actually in Germany. We will see how SCS Software handles the rework of the area. Thanks for the question!

F11 - This use to only hide name tags F9 - This use to only hide chat Currently with the "new" chat, only F11 exists and it hides both nametags and chat I would like this to return to the game, I do not wish to see nametags but i would like to continue to see chats. Can this feature return?

Hi, TruckersMP is a modification for a simulation game - we aim to simulate reality and realistic conditions. However, it is still a game and we have to accept that there are limitations to how seriously we can take the simulation aspect: We can't require a driver's license to play the game, we can't enforce real currency fines for driving offenses and we cannot moderate every single incident instantly. Over the years, we have made our rules stricter, and easier to understand, and changed how we issue bans to a fair and standardized procedure. However, we have also offered players the opportunity to express their driving preferences in various ways by adding support for ProMods for more challenging roads, by adding arcade servers where no road rules are applied, and by removing the speed limit from one of our simulation servers. Ultimately, many players opted to remain on the one simulation server with a 110 km/h speed limit and enforced road rules. Why don't we enforce stricter speed limits? In reality, European trucks are usually physically limited to 110 km/h and legally to 80-95 km/h. We believe 110 km/h is a fair (and yet realistic) speed limit. We have seen a significant reduction in incidents since bringing back this speed limit a few years ago. I don't believe that reducing it further will reduce accidents. You mention 'a better punishment system like IRL has [with fines and license suspensions]'. We suspend people from driving by issuing a temporary ban on the first few offenses for most rule violations. I believe this is quite realistic. We did explore the idea of charging in-game currency fines for offenses but few players would are seriously scared of losing money in-game as it's easy to make or cheat back. We have considered the idea of a 'hardcore sim' server with a 95 km/h speed limit which would require a significant amount of in-game hours to join (e.g. 500 hours in ETS2). However, we believe that this defeats our purpose as an MMO modification. We want you to have fun with your friends while delivering cargo across Europe. By separating players more, we lose the MMO aspect. If you want to play the game's 'hardcore' simulation rules, you can opt to play SCS Software's Convoy mode where you can set the rules and only let your trusted friends come near you. If you have relevant suggestions that have a worked-out concept of how we can get closer to the described goal, let me know! We are always welcoming descriptive and constructive suggestions. Hey Rebel, Thank you for asking this question. I have asked the entire CM team to give me the 3 goals that they had for the community when joining: xBestBBx Clear the suggestion backlog. Unfortunately it has not been kept up with over the years. We have combed through nearly 100% of them now. Look into what we can do with the CC program, which I am in the process of doing. Get our Twitch channel back up and active. That is also being actively looked into Vicc Establishing a baseline of quality for posts on social media or Discord, streamlining the process and improving engagement. Continuing and creating various projects to improve community interaction/aspects of the community. Review and improve the VTC Validation/Verified programs + Community Contributor program. Purrie I did not have 3 specific goals that I wished to achieve before starting in the CM role. In any organisation things can be improved at all times over the whole organisation. And sometimes things you would want to improve can't due to various circumstances, so we should focus as whole organization on the things that can be improved in the foreseeable future and just always do our best for the community we serve. If I would have to name 1 thing I would like to see changed is that the times it's day and night shift each day a bit so if you only have time to drive in the evenings you do not always only have to drive in the dark but also have dawn, dusk and daytime. Rider Bring back Hot Topic and improve it. Listen to the community and use that feedback/opinion/comment to improve. Fix the bond between CMs and the community. Overall, we want to help and improve on anything that is needed. We are dedicated individuals who work as a team to improve TruckersMP every day or try to. We strive to create a healthy environment for TruckersMP and hopefully, can continue doing that.

Of Course, i would appreciate when i can expand my Tag, there are so many vital Informations needed in Tag, as example: Keep Distance/Dont Touch/Do Not Overtake When It Is Not Safe/REC/REP/BAN/WOT/Hard Physics/AMK/Real Truck Driving/Incredible Hardcore Logistics/Speed Limit/Obey Rules Low Horsepower Truck The Tag is large enough when there is Information Overflow in Tab-List or Onscreen!
