  6. To make an image for the Event information, you need to take some screenshots in the game. Here's a random route that I created to use as an example. If you took the screenshots, loading them to painting tool (eg, CLIP STUDIO, Adobe Photoshop, MediBang paint, etc,. Like a below image, hide all layers except only the route screenshot. Create a new layer, and draw a route with bucket tool on the layer. You can draw some of the uncolored sections with pen tool. Then, we have completed the images for the wonderful convoy! (I painted the background for visibility.) If you mark the starting and ending points, and if you show more information, you can create a much more complete image. Once again, hide images other than this image. Create another new layer, and draw a will not be used route with bucket tool on the layer. If you hide all the layers except the ones you created, you can get these result. After this, you can decorate it as you want! Here's an example image I made. I hope my tutorials will help as many people as possible. Feel free to let me know if you don't understand or if there's a much better way !

  9. Suggestion Name: Hide the in-game chat Suggestion Description: Ability to hide ONLY the in-game chat without hiding all Any example images: N/A Why it should be added: Add the possibility of hiding only the chat or only the names of the players while keeping the chat active or vice versa. I was fine before it was possible to hide only the chat but keeping the names of the players visible, I would like there to still be this possibility, doing this would slightly improve stability and fps in congested areas for example, but even just for a aesthetic fact, it would be nice to have the possibility to hide the chat in moments of spam or just bc you don't want to see the whole chat with useless messages... I hope this suggestion is also to your liking, as always I send my warmest regards and look forward to your positive outcome. Kind Regards, Rossoo770s. 10. I need to Apologies, i am a Player who enjoying it to playing Simulation Games as close to Reality as possible! I am also A Patient and 99,99%, of Time, Polite Person. I am also like Multiplayer Games, and when i am a Guest on a Server, where the Owner having some Rules, then i am willing to Obey them! Unfortunately, this kind of Gameplay and Behavior does not fit to the current Gameplay on TruckersMP, which many other Players prefering! So, my presence Collide ( True Words) with the Other Players who just want to fly over the Map or just want to test out which One have the strongest Truck in a Head On! Despite the fact that i am braking in Dangerous Situations, to prevent not needed Accidents, i were insulted many Times for doing this. I am able to understand at least the English, Turkish and Russian Insultings and i know that these People enjoying it to being very "creative" with the Words that they chose. I beg for your Sorry, i can only understand/reading them, i am not able to reply in the same way, cause my parents told me not to doing this! So, there is no need to waste any Profanity or Insulting against me! I am also Sorry that i am not able to make sure that All of the Incidents against me, that occure, being reported to TruckersMP Officials. Maybe it is better for TruckersMP to ban Players who Obey the Rules, this would reduce the Amount of Reports to work on, and the Moderators would have less work Ingame too. Or even better, why not removing the Rules in General? Much more Players, than 6 Years ago, do not Obey them either and §2.9, §1.5 and §1.7 should be enough as bare minimum. With this said, again, i am sorry that i have a different understanding about the Gameplay of this Game! So, Carry on and chose your Weapon of Mass Destruction, when you connecting to the Server!

  12. Who needs the dull predictability of simulation players when one can have the thrill of dodging erratic drivers treating every road as their personal demolition derby?

  13. Ahah I like the sarcasm in your message I've also proposed the staff at some point, to make things simpler and easier for everyone, to just change the rules with one line saying "we will monitor how people drive and will punish or not people, with some ban or not, and some duration, depending on our own judgement which we will keep internal" No more moaning about the rule being not fair or not applied

  14. To load a quick save which spawns your vehicle in an unsafe location, e.g. a road, is an reckless act, because it willfully neglects the safety of others users and of oneself. As opposed to this, a user who crashes into a vehicle that spawned in his way of travel is not at fault, because he or she can't know nor predict when and where a vehicle of another user will spawn, which gives the user few to no time to take evasive measures.

  16. Hello, I hope you are having a good day. This problem has happened to other users on the forum before and they solved it like this: Here, I will post some possible solution for your issue: Solution 1: Have you tried to verify your game? > Go to Steam Library > Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs. Solution 2: 1. Right click ETS 2 in steam 2. Select 'Launch with OpenGL' 3. Let the game run and try going into game. 4. Exit the game and go back to steam, right click ETS 2 again but this time select 'Launch with DirectX (64-Bit) 5. Again go into game and then exit. 6. Start TruckersMP up and see if the game stops crashing If it did not work, then I recommend you re-install TruckersMP Launcher with these steps: Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes) Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder. Go to documents and delete this folders called (ETS2MP, ATSMP) Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher" Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/ Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates" After installing process, please click on TruckersMP Launcher icon on your desktop and launch it as administrator (right click - run as administrator) And please have a look at this guides, that may help you aswell Thanks for writing the article. @RedWolf [CZ] ~ I wish you good luck! 19. Suggested name: The event organizer of the event server has the right to kick the player Suggestion Description: After the event organizer successfully applies for the event server, it has the kicking permission Any example image: Why should you add it? The reason for applying for an event server is that I want to hold an event without troublemakers, and if there are troublemakers, if you can't kick them out in time, the event won't be able to run smoothly, and the GM won't be there all the time,If you abuse your rights, you will not be able to apply for an active server

  20. Yes, there are some of us who really love to play the game as if it was real. I myself drive a truck in the real world so I drive the best I can. There are people who work for some VTC's or are trying to do as many KM/MI's as possible in a day, make as much money as possible, do as many loads as possible, ETC. That is the downside to Multiplayer not everyone is going to play how YOU want them to. Now yeah it would great to see them play as real as possible. Rules are being enforced and if they were to be removed as you stated, the game would be even worse then you are hoping for. Now yes, your report INGAME may not be reviewed but thats because if they are in peak players they are receiving reports left and right because usually there are about 1000 players in one chunk of the map. Moderators do the best that they can and then even suggest when your report times out to report them via the website. Just make sure you have the evidence and their name is fully visible and readable and they will handle it as soon as they can. They don't ban those who follow the rules. If they did they would lose 90% of players. Now yeah people won't always stop for lights, signs, traffic, etc. and yes some will get upset because you slowed down and now they do, but it works the same in the real world.

  22. Those who break the rules are the ones who are banned. Not the rule abiding players who can still play next week. Moderators would have less work if they treated repeat offenders like the police and insurance companies do. The amount of reports won't decrease until the players learn to stop reporting every minor offense and keep it solely to the rules. If the mods say "it's only worth a kick", that's what shouldn't be reported. However, the reckless community that is Simulation 1's CD Road, is also the majority of the TMP community. Anything that negatively affects the road in terms of improving the whole thing, gets backlashed and then removed, if implemented by the devs. You can check the livemap to see where the players are and find less populated areas to drive down.

  23. Hello, hope you are doing well! Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you currently telling us that drivers who are trying to drive as safely as possible should be banned from the TMP platform so that trolls who enjoy causing us problems by speeding and dangerous overtaking can happily continue to drive at 110 km/h? That would be a bit unfair, wouldn't it? I am in the group of players who keep their speed below 90 km/h. I usually have my cruise control set to 85-90 km/h. I don't think that going 90 km/h or 110 km/h is a big difference, although many players may say the opposite. Some people may get upset and honk their horns because of this, so when it's safe, I move to the right side of the road, slow down and let them pass me. I also let people in front of me when they wait too long to leave an intersection or when they have crashed and need to get back on the road by reversing into my lane. It's not often, but there are people who don't like it. They use their horns and are sometimes rude to me. In these cases, I politely tell them why I took that action and that "blocking" (I don't consider it blocking because it usually takes about 10 seconds) was not my intention. I usually don't get any reaction, so not many people swear at me. And here we go again. By driving carefully, respecting others, and using common sense, I've managed to not have a serious accident for several months, and I've also managed to save a lot of players from having accidents when possible. A lot of people do the same thing I do, so banning us wouldn't help much because we're not the biggest problem here. But the problem here are drivers who just don't care about their surroundings and what's going on near them (so they don't know if a bad driver is approaching, which could lead to an accident.). If most players were more respectful and predictive, the number of accidents could be lower. You or anyone else may not agree with me, so feel free to convince me otherwise. Have a nice day MartinPlaysCZ

  25. Hey, we will not be able to host videos on our platform due to the infrastructure required for it. It is unfortunate that some players experience difficulties in uploading evidence due to governmental restrictions and lack of sufficient alternatives. We still offer in-game reports that do not require recording a video and we also want to move away from web reports in the future with a new report system. Until then, some pages have been recommended here but I would also recommend demanding change from pages like bilibili and of course, the Chinese government as they restricted access to pages like YouTube in the first place.

  26. Agree with you that this should be done by Game moderators, the average player may abuse this right, "Request a moderator to supervise the event" is a good suggestion Event organizers have no right to kick out players
    1 point
  27. This already happens in official events. What if someone's granted the role and just decides to kick rule abiding drivers? I think it would just be better if the organizer could check an option "Request a moderator to supervise the event".

  28. Suggestion Name: Private Data Through API Key Suggestion Description: It would be great if we can access some private VTC related data like Applications, member history in the VTC like role changes etc through api key. It would be great if we can add new application through api post method also directly through a VTC website. Why should it be added?: This will be a nice feature to get applications and other private data on a VTC's Website or drivershub admin pannels.

  30. Restrictions of the TruckersMP dispatcher will not stop players to drive to high populated areas. And this is not least because not all players use the dispatcher. Think about players who solely use World Of Trucks jobs or players, who don't hault cargo at all. TruckersMP rather needs AI traffic in low populated areas.

  31. Hey ! @[MCG] Burmee There are many thing for this situation. Unfortunately nobody can explain it. If someone is too faster than you, you can create a website report about it because of "speedhacking". 1- High ping 2- Delay time 3- Internet speed 4- Computer performance 5- Server synchronization 6- Your truck etc.

  38. I don't think it makes any sense. The trouble is not from the road, but from the driver! There are signs of traffic rules and if you follow them, then everything will be fine. But alas, people drive as they want, and even if you build a straight line from point A to point B, there will still be accidents. I rarely notice traffic jams in this place due to accidents, even during rush hour.

  41. Thank you for your suggestion, which I support for the following reasons. Allowing players to customize their interface enhances the overall gaming experience. Users have different preferences, and giving them control over what elements they see can contribute to a more enjoyable and personalized experience. In congested areas or during moments of chat spam, the screen can become cluttered with information. Allowing players to hide specific elements, like chat or player names, can declutter the interface, making it easier for them to focus on essential information. Hiding certain elements can potentially improve performance, especially in situations where there is a high volume of information to display. This can be particularly relevant in crowded or intense gameplay scenarios, where maintaining stable frame rates is crucial.

  43. I think TruckersMP is making a big step forward with that change as I also believe that the focus should be shifted more to the in-game report system. The first aim should be that violations are dealt with in a timely manner, preferably right after they happen. The changes introduced here are certainly helpful for that. However, I do think that the biggest focus should be on those who intentionally violate the rules and not those who make simple mistakes. That's why I think that it would be highly beneficial to add a "reporting score" to the in-game report system - the more times a player is reported, the higher it will be shown on the report list of Game Moderators and therefore dealt with first. I have described this idea with its advantages in the following topic and would love to hear your opinion on this:
    1 point
  44. It will not work. For example, my web report from August 22nd 23:50 UTC (a week and a half ago) has still not been processed. I play TMP every night. Even if I only report a single player every day who completely and absolutely willfully rammed my truck, these 10 reports will obviously not be enough for me. The fact that I do web reports at all is solely due to the fact that ingame reports invariably time out anyway, so you can save yourself filling them out from the start, they are completely pointless. Up until now I've felt that completing reports is something the game moderation team wants because it helps them remove the worst players from the game (potentially saving themselves a lot of further work because they can't commit any more offenses) . In the meantime, however, one increasingly gets the impression that the submission of reports is something that the team would like to turn off completely because it takes work when I read through how web reports are presented in the first post. If I had submitted so many "senseless" reports in the past as shown here as "usual" in the opening posting, I would not have been able to submit 20 reports consistently, because then significantly more reports would have been rejected by me and the maximum number of my website reports would have been lowered earlier anyway. Instead, you now have to accept that you get rammed off the road several times every evening and are allowed to teleport to the workshop - because your own truck is lying on its side again. There are enough car drivers (and yes, mostly they are car drivers) who feel they have to push you out of the way as it seemed like to be their right to drive always and anywhere with 110 km/h or so that they can drive past traffic jams on the hard shoulder or green shoulder to the right, or pull in ahead of you to keep a safe distance (and then lag so that you ram them) - or just drive wrong side towards you when on their side is a traffic jam. We all know these guys. Because if one were to continue reporting in the way you said it was the case, the 20 reports would have been used up after just driving the Duisburg-Calais route once or twice. In fact, if they had been earlier, I would have submitted a website report every time I found myself in the garage because someone put my truck on its side again. So now you have to accept it, knowing that the person will not be punished for it and can and may continue to ram people off the street. Or you can calm yourself down, fill out an in-game report and wait 10 minutes for it to time out again as it has in the last years. So if you don't want your players to continue to be able to report such people, the only way the system could work again would be to add more game moderators to the team - but certainly not to reduce the number of possible reports - because that is ultimately only ensures that the players who do not follow the rules will do so even more in the future, because they know that they have nothing to fear from the in-game reports (and now also the website-reports). And the few players who even bother with website reports (which are significantly more complex also for the one who did the report - even more work than just an in-game click) - they don't have any more reports available anyway if the processing of each report takes more than a week and a half and you would like to play ETSTMP every day.

  45. I also wish there was a way you as a player you could know if a report has been submitted against you (that hasn’t been reviewed yet) let’s just say there was a couple of incidents last week where people said “rec” in the chat that although would be a soft ban you still have to wait a good week possibly two to know if you are getting banned or not.
    1 point
  46. But will in game reports still “Time out”? also, as you mentioned about evidence not being the best online, so why not just close the web reports completely? Why do people actually need to report in game, and then report on web? ofc if you get yourself in a situation which you believe you could be banned for you can always save that clip for the appeal.. I just don’t see point in game reports AND online. Recently, I have been watching the moderators who post YouTube videos, they are able to review the evidence in any action by clicking on any truck, reports on the web, you only get the angle that it was recorded in (sometimes Just from 1st person view in truck) this must also take up a lot of resources.

  47. How to overtake vehicles safely? By ash.exe I thought I update this guide to give a better insight to how to overtake vehicles in TruckersMP. A common reason why many people including myself have been banned is for inappropriate overtaking. This guide will be covering the following: General rules on overtaking. Considerations to take into account before overtaking. How to overtake vehicles ahead? If a driver is overtaking you. General rules on overtaking: Overtaking is a very risky manoeuvre - This is considered one of the most dangerous manoeuvres to complete on a road. If you plan to overtake, please consider how experienced you are with general driving and traffic management. Always observe for hazards or signs indicating you should not overtake - Some examples of hazards are vehicles, junctions or road layout change. Some examples of signs are "No overtaking signs" or solid line road markings. If you found a potential hazard, best not to overtake. Do not overtake through a hard shoulder or overtake off-road - The hard shoulder is intended for emergencies only and must never be used for normal driving. Off-roading is reckless and you are likely to hit an invisible object. Do not overtake a vehicle if you are required to break the speed limiter - The maximum speed for cars and trucks is 110 km/h or 68 mph. For buses, this is reduced to 80 km/h or 50 mph. Do not overtake the vehicle if you are driving any closer to the maximum speed as this will likely block oncoming traffic. Do not overtake if you are lagging - Whether this is ping related or FPS related, it may take longer for you to overtake and likely poses a hazard to other traffic. Do not tail an overtaking driver - What I mean by this is following an overtaking vehicle while overtaking the driver ahead. This is dangerous as oncoming traffic will not be able to see a second vehicle approaching. Keep a good distance away from the vehicle - Keep as far away from the vehicle you are overtaking. When you finish overtaking, make sure you leave a distance from that vehicle before returning to your lane. Make sure you do not cut the driver off. Do not overtake more than one vehicle - This is usually a common reason why people usually get kicked from the game. It takes longer for a truck to overtake a vehicle so overtaking multiple vehicles will double that. Never overtake on the following conditions: Unable to see the road ahead due to a bend or a dip. Too close to a junction, railway crossing or a narrow road. Overtaking on a prohibited area (i.e. No overtaking signs, Solid line markings) Overtaking when you need to change roads. Traffic approaching behind or in front of you. Section 2 - Consider the following before overtaking: Can I see the road ahead and any oncoming traffic? - If you cannot see the road ahead, you won't be able to see oncoming traffic. Hence, do not overtake in this condition. Can my vehicle overtake the vehicle ahead swiftly? - If your speed limiter may interfere with overtaking the vehicle ahead, or if the vehicle may struggle to accelerate quickly, don't overtake. Is it illegal to overtake? - If signs or road markings are preventing you from overtaking, don't overtake. Am I confident in overtaking? - If you are not confident with overtaking, don't overtake until you feel more confident with this. Is this necessary? - If you feel it is not needed, it's best you do not overtake the vehicle ahead. Section 3 - How to overtake vehicles safely? Observe for any signs or markings prohibiting you from overtaking - Wait until you have passed the area before deciding to overtake.* Check for vehicles approaching you, oncoming traffic and junctions which may interfere with this process When ready to overtake, make sure the vehicle ahead can see you and knows your intentions - If you cannot see the mirrors of the vehicle ahead, they cannot see you. It would be a good idea to indicate so that they know what you are doing** Emerge out and pass the vehicle as quickly as possible Keep a good distance from the vehicle behind and return to normal driving lane - You should leave about a 4 second gap from the vehicle behind in the event where you lag. In duel carriageways, make sure you return back to the original lane to prevent lane hogging the overtaking lane. * You are permitted to pass through a solid white line if the is a stationary vehicle or road block ahead of you. You can also turn left or right when the line passes through a junction. ** Avoid signaling if there is a junction ahead. It will be misleading to other drivers. Section 4 - If a driver is overtaking you Do not accelerate under any circumstance - It is very dangerous and prevents the overtaking driver from returning to the normal driving lane. Do NOT prevent the overtake - By preventing an overtake, you increase the time for the other vehicle to overtake and could cause a collision. Try to slow down if oncoming traffic is approaching - By slowing down, you are allowing the overtaking vehicle to return to the normal lane quickly with a minimal risk of a collision. Failing to slow down may also make you liable as well as the overtaking driver. Avoid swerving - You risk colliding next to the overtaking truck. Do not get angry if someone decides to overtake - This is not a racing game. Play on arcade or Forza if you wish to race. I hope this guide has been helpful.
