It depends on why the ban is permanent. Admins often give a permanent ban to make sure the user appeals. If the permanent ban is applied because of the history (6th ban rule), it is unlikely being removed as the user used all his chances. We have this rule because we have to draw a line somewhere. If you happens to reach that many bans within the period of a year, you clearly don't really care about the in-game rules. Everyone deserves a second chance, but we can't keep giving a person another chance. So while it might be harsh, a permanent ban due to history is unlikely being lifted and will last forever.

Not a bad idea, and definitely something to consider if we are considering adding more paint jobs to it. There are a lot of talented people in this community, and a lot of people who want to (and can) contribute.

@English, I don't mind that idea, so I've fielded it to our developers.

This has been a problem that we have been dealing with for weeks. I don't have a good solution for it, but if everyone leaving repair turns right, it does fix a few issues but not all. That being said, we can't force it. Most of this makes me want to say that you use it at your own risk but that's somewhat unfair to some users who aren't using the C-D road that end up there accidentally. We are open to ideas for fixing it but none of them seem particularly that good at the moment.

Well, to be fair, I was thinking of the website report system, however, work is being done in making the IG report system more efficient, and to help the admins do more and better work in game.

@Clarkinator Well, If the developers makes a command that allows us to teleport to another nearby service station, that would make things a lot more calm at Duisburg and Calais, possibly that whole road too. For example "/stp Rotterdam" "/stp Lillie" "/stp Brussel" etc... (stp = service teleport) This new command could also make the staff's job much, much easier. Which means in-game reports could be dealt with faster.

Suggestion Name: Harder ban rules for trolls Suggestion Description: Lately there is a increase of the amount of people complaining about trolls. We need to counter that, before a lot of people stop playing, because they get sick of reporting. My suggestion: if someone records a troll purposely ramming multiple people, count every ram (attempt) they did on a different truck, as a ban count. For example 4 trucks rammed, 1 month ban. 5 trucks rammed: 3 months ban 6+ trucks rammed in one report, a instant perma-ban. Even if it is a account that was just made. I do not know if this rule already is in effect ofcourse Maybe also add in the report system, how many truckers are recorded being hit by the troll, so it can be highlighted for the admins as a priority case. If someone abuses this to get his report highlighted, then the report goes below the pile of reports that are currently being processed. Another idea to make trolls faster to spot in the report system: (I do not know if that is already the case), that if someone gets reported by someone else on the same day. That this report also gets highlighted, once a admin clicks on the report of the troll, that was reported by someone else. Any example images: nope Why should it be added?: I know that trolls are harder punished than a occasional ram or block, which is good. But somehow it is not good enough. Hi there Bus51, You make a good point, but a few of your points don't really add-up; but let me just clarify something for you; An admin would not message a player asking 'why is this behaviour happening. Being a newbie isn't an excuse for breaking the rules; everyone is forced to read them when they sign up, once they've clicked agree, then are just like the rest of us, new or veteran. How would an admin know whether a player is a newbie or not, without checking several profiles beforehand? They aren't going to check each rule breaker, and give newbies a shorter ban due to this. Your most likely correct in saying that if the behaviour continues, then a ban would be issued, but whether the user is new or not, the rules are the same, and so are the punishment(s) that are enforced upon them when they break the rules. It would be even more unfair if an admin was to be 'more understanding with newbies', considering they all signed up and agreed to the same rules. Good idea but hard to enforce. There's really not much that can be done other than teaching players to only F7 Enter to get in, Then quick travel to the nearest garage to get out. That's personally what I do. I drive into the city, if it's packed I'll just F7 Enter to get inside of it, if there's chaos trying to get out, then i'll just quick travel to the nearest garage and that's usually a short distance away, easy enough to get out of there.

It's something we know a bunch of people want, but that has a load of potential errors and issues tied to it, that needs to be resolved first. So, it might happen in the future, but I wouldn't sit around waiting for it, because it will take a while (if it happens).

I like the idea too.. but I doubt TMP can "force" this like what English has shown from Clarkinator's post. But you have my support if maybe you suggest it to SCS to implement in future map expansions like how their fuel stations/rest stops look like in the Vive la France DLC. I have provided a picture below to show what I mean. Maybe the "one way" road in and out doesn't have to be so complicated (and the service station will replace the fuel station) but I hope you get what I mean.. somewhere along the lines of what the picture shows.

I don't really think there is a way to solve this problem, even if you had an admin there all the time it still wouldn't solve it. If you wait long enough there are chances to get out so the best people can do really is just wait for your chance to leave, if you are in a car or a truck without a trailer then go to your garages and teleport to Duisburg and then leave from your garage or even teleport to another city. I remember that Rotterdam service station used to often be like that during peak times and there wasn't really any solving it and now its Duisburg thats like that, during peak times there isn't really any way to solve it, as bad as it is to say go there at your own risk it does seem to be a fair enough and only option. Anyone thats unlucky enough to f7 there thats not going C-D then the best and only option if you have a trailers is to just wait for your chance to leave (may take awhile) I think admins time in MP would be better spent dealing with in game reports rather then spending their time watching Duisburg Service Station which still wouldn't solve the problem during peak times, its not actually that bad other times, it during peak times that its a big problem.

To anyone who is having issues with any of my mods: just saying that they don't work does not help. if you encounter an issue or crash or similar, exit the game and upload & PM me game.log.txt before restarting the game. This is the only way I can know what is going wrong, which I need to know in order to fix them.
