I guess I'm one of those who like to make social media posts about making changes in their lives while no one really needs to hear it. I just wanted to make this somehow "official" so this is mainly a post for myself. Anyway, I'm leaving the truck sims behind. They're the games I always return to and spend too much of my time on while neglecting to make a future for myself.

This year has been quite eventful for me, only outside of this community. I served my year as a conscript which didn't leave much time for TMP adventures. I'm happy to be back here with you all to see what the next year brings.

I pieced together a small video of yesterday's TMP6 convoy. Out of TruckersMP's 6 years I'm grateful to have taken part in nearly 5. This community and game means the world to me.

Fact 9 — Brain puts together the images our eyes send as nerve impulses. It makes plenty of corrections, including merging the two images together seamlessly and turning them the right way around. All the processing requires about half of the brain to complete.

I recorded some clips back when One Truck Family event was in Bratislava and now had some time to put them together.

Fact 7 — The theoretic resolution of human eye is 576 megapixels, which beats high resolution Nikon D810 DSLR by 540 megapixels. Megapixel isn’t ideal unit to measure human sight with, because the high resolution area of our vision is relatively small area in the middle while rest our field of view is blurry and mainly good for spotting movement.

Fact 5 — The rarest human eye colours are amber, violet and red, all of them being rarer than the green eye colour about 2% of the world population has. Amber eye colour is caused by yellow pigment, violet by partial lack of pigment in the eye that reveals the eye’s blood vessels, red eyes have no pigment at all, revealing the blood vessels completely.
