  12. Hai all! ? Yesterday I had to make one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, and that is my departure from the TruckersMP Game Moderation Team. ? Due to my IRL work role, the amount of hours I have to work is going up and up each day, mainly due to the time of year in the run up to Christmas, but also due to the Coronavirus pandemic making my job much harder, leaving me short on time to fulfil my role as a Game Moderator here at TruckersMP. It was a really tough decision to leave the team and took a lot of thinking about, but unfortunately, it had to be done. ? I hope to re-join the team in the near future once things start to quieten down, hopefully this pandemic will ease off soon which will help me a lot. ? I hope everyone is staying safe and I hope to still see you all out on the roads of ATS & ETS2. This is the greatest community I could ask to be in so I am incredibly grateful to be a part of it, and I have met some amazing people which I will definitely stay in touch with and drive with. I hope to be back within the team in the near future, but for now, stay safe and keep on trucking everyone! ? Callum.

I wanted to just keep people informed, I'm going to be away from the community for a few months due to health issues and being taking into hospital on 14/09/2020 I've been inactive for awhile hoping to feel better, After consideration I will be walking away until my health is in a much better state, I will keep you all updated as and when I can but make sure you all look after yourselves Thanks Gareth

  19. We are always excited to show our community what changes and updates we are currently working on. Today we are focusing on one of the more noticeable changes that drivers in Europe can expect to see in the next 1.39 update. Introducing the port of Calais, the fourth-largest port in France and the busiest for passenger traffic. Its industry accounts for more than a third of economic activity in the local area. From transporting goods to holidaymakers seeking sunshine, it serves as an important gateway between the United Kingdom and France. As many of you may know, Calais is one of our base game cities which was released with Euro Truck Simulator 2. As such, a dedicated part of our map team has taken time to give the city and port a major reskin, giving it a fresh and up-to-date look for the next update. So what exactly has been changed? Let's take a closer look! The biggest change you will notice is how the port is now represented in-game. In reality, Calais port is huge and so our map team has worked hard to best reflect that reality within the confines of our map scale. This newly recreated port will feature new assets including gates, terminals, ramps for ferries, and fences. The entrance to the port has also received a major change; as well as the road leading to the port where previously a simple roundabout was located, it has now been updated to a larger custom-made roundabout with an overhead road crossing. This isn't the only change to the road networks, however. Surrounding roads and highways that connect the port and the city will correspond more correctly to reality now, which includes more realistic highway exits. While the actual city of Calais will have a similar layout, it will be given a new look with updated terrain textures, road textures, new vegetation, and more. You will also find that quite a few of the industrial buildings have also been replaced with newer assets. While many of the major changes are quite obvious from these pictures, we will leave the rest for you to explore and find what other smaller changes have been made. Hello @Ainu and thank you for your question, For a long time we were against adding new vehicles since we felt that this game was a truck driving simulation at its core and that's how it should remain. Over time, we have realized that playing on TruckerMP should be a unique experience and that deviating from the core values of ETS2/ATS is a good thing. Internally, we have come up with some plans to allow certain vehicles to be used on regular servers - not only just for staff but for players as well. Currently, we are making something that would enable the deployment of drivable AI vehicles easier. While I can't give you a guarantee or timeline of when this will be possible, I want it to be clear that there are plans for adding other vehicles other than the Scout car.
