Nikonuu [PL/ÉIRE] Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I find the voice navigation to be a great feature that i will most definitely use, however I understand some might find it annoying and turn it off altogether What do you think ?
ASIR Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I will, it's cool feature. Let's support it! Former Game Moderator Leader
Maverick Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 If they allow custom ones, then I will. I tried the beta and The voices are a bit "bland" Need some comical ones!
CHRISTINA Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 Good, but if you bother too much, just turn it off
Alis* Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I don't need AI to tell me when to turn left for C-D road ! Alis* The best job is one you can play The Witcher 3 in - click
Guest Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I think with all the work they did to implement it - I will give it at least a try. If I don't like it then I'll turn it off.
Haulvoc Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 I didn't try the beta and didn't know this is coming. I'll try it for sure. IRL I use it too.
Guest Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 It's still in beta. If you're bored, turn it off.
Red Rock Lion Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 I feel that voice navigation is very bad, and the voice content is simple.
Granite Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 What I have seen, there is only limited number of languages available at a moment, more will probably come in future updates. I would probably only use it if english language with strong scottish accent was an option.
Koneko Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 I just will use it because I will create my own sound packs.
***{kadiracar02}*** Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 of course, I like the way he's coming.
Ryotaink Posted June 2, 2019 Report Posted June 2, 2019 I will but i am not actively using the navigation in the game. King Regards TruckersMP Translation Team Ryotaink
TheCreepyTruckr Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I like to drive with the hud completely off, so it would definitely make my trips easier.
ElectroHouse20 Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 Practically all navigation has sound instructions, but not all of them are smart enough to read the name of any Lithuanian or foreign street. In this case, there is often only a direction, but a lack of specificity. Therefore, if you need this specificity and want to have exact location with exact addresses, please see how to turn it on. Of course, he is just talking about the main things now. There is no for example: For 500 meters, turn left / For 500 meters, turn right For 50 meters, Road works are underway And so on..
iNadeox Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 Could be a nice feature but the fact that people around the world play the game and would be using different languages, this may take time to be a fully working feature. Could be useful especially in long hauls as people tend to miss their exits or turns and have to risk being in danger or take the long way around. // Isaiah Wijesekara | Philippines | Former [ETRVTC] Driver | TMP ID 10832 \\ // [TPH] Truckers Philippines | Member Since November 15, 2014 | TrucksBook \\ ||||||

Yes it would be amazing if they could say things like "Turn off onto the A4 towards Berlin" and have it absolutely butcher the name of the city which is the way it is in real life
Suleyman.53 Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 Maybe I'il use it to try. But when traveling with music, voice navigation may not sound good.
Nikonuu [PL/ÉIRE] Posted June 3, 2019 Author Report Posted June 3, 2019 Yes I feel it's nice to have it very quiet in the background with tunes over it
Maverick Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 It'll be good for those longer routes, where you sort of zone out and just keep following the road, it'll give you the reminder to take the turning.
Cute-Panda Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 No, I won't use him. It's so boring. I always drive with music so that I don't get sleepy.

Zulnex Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I appreciate the hard work SCS software did regarding the voice navigation. However, I will have it turned off. I like peace and quiet in my truck (in game and also in real life).
[LFS] Panda Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I'll definitely have it turned on! Been looking into possible ways of doing it for a while now Glad SCS have finally brought it out officially On 6/1/2019 at 11:09 PM, MaverickTD said: On 6/1/2019 at 11:09 PM, MaverickTD said: If they allow custom ones, then I will. derek01 Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I think it would be a good idea and convenient, at least for me. Whenever I'm going to a destination to deliver cargo, I often find myself not paying attention to the GPS.
