  14. Hi, TruckersMP is a modification for a simulation game - we aim to simulate reality and realistic conditions. However, it is still a game and we have to accept that there are limitations to how seriously we can take the simulation aspect: We can't require a driver's license to play the game, we can't enforce real currency fines for driving offenses and we cannot moderate every single incident instantly. Over the years, we have made our rules stricter, and easier to understand, and changed how we issue bans to a fair and standardized procedure. However, we have also offered players the opportunity to express their driving preferences in various ways by adding support for ProMods for more challenging roads, by adding arcade servers where no road rules are applied, and by removing the speed limit from one of our simulation servers. Ultimately, many players opted to remain on the one simulation server with a 110 km/h speed limit and enforced road rules. Why don't we enforce stricter speed limits? In reality, European trucks are usually physically limited to 110 km/h and legally to 80-95 km/h. We believe 110 km/h is a fair (and yet realistic) speed limit. We have seen a significant reduction in incidents since bringing back this speed limit a few years ago. I don't believe that reducing it further will reduce accidents. You mention 'a better punishment system like IRL has [with fines and license suspensions]'. We suspend people from driving by issuing a temporary ban on the first few offenses for most rule violations. I believe this is quite realistic. We did explore the idea of charging in-game currency fines for offenses but few players would are seriously scared of losing money in-game as it's easy to make or cheat back. We have considered the idea of a 'hardcore sim' server with a 95 km/h speed limit which would require a significant amount of in-game hours to join (e.g. 500 hours in ETS2). However, we believe that this defeats our purpose as an MMO modification. We want you to have fun with your friends while delivering cargo across Europe. By separating players more, we lose the MMO aspect. If you want to play the game's 'hardcore' simulation rules, you can opt to play SCS Software's Convoy mode where you can set the rules and only let your trusted friends come near you. If you have relevant suggestions that have a worked-out concept of how we can get closer to the described goal, let me know! We are always welcoming descriptive and constructive suggestions. Thanks for your question!

  16. Suggestion Name serverizing the weather Suggestion Description In multiplayer, the only server environments that apply to all players appear to be day and night. It would be nice to server the weather and apply it to all players. In multiplayer, differences in weather between players can cause stress and cause discord between players, so it would be a good idea to manage the weather (snow, rain, etc.) on the server so that all players can drive in the same weather. How about having a separate winter mode server for players using winter mode? Europe 1 server has summer weather Europe 2 server has winter weather Alternatively, it would be a good idea to implement four seasons on one Europe server 1. Any example images - Why it should be added Vanilla's raindrop sounds are unrealistic because they sound like hail falling. Even if the truck windows are closed, outside sounds are not soundproofed, so I can hear the sound of rain outside even inside. The sight of rain falling is beautiful, but the sound of the rain makes it less immersive.

  20. Since the implementation of the sim.2 server with 150kmh speed limits turned out to be a real failure as we all can see...that the sim2 server is pretty empty, Why not make sim 1 a real Simulation server with limits limited to Max. 90Kmh and REMOVE the CARS? Since many players like me like simulation...and this is impossible to respect in the current servers with the following rules...since everyone is playing this game for a racing and collision game... and NONE care about you and others? Especially with cars..they overtake always and at every cost..also when is prohibited..and make mess? I'm sick of this behavior, and Im not talking about cd,but In general. Im waiting for a positive outcome from you. Kind Regards, Rossoo770s.

  21. The event was fun, but I didn't think it was feasible to change the position of the eggs. As said @Kiezkickerde, it was very difficult for those who were alone. From the moment I went to check a live stream to try to locate the moving eggs, I didn't have much success because TruckersMP's main Twitch channel was offline. But luckily I found it by chance.

  28. Suggestion Name: Hide the in-game chat Suggestion Description: Ability to hide ONLY the in-game chat without hiding all Any example images: N/A Why it should be added: Add the possibility of hiding only the chat or only the names of the players while keeping the chat active or vice versa. I was fine before it was possible to hide only the chat but keeping the names of the players visible, I would like there to still be this possibility, doing this would slightly improve stability and fps in congested areas for example, but even just for a aesthetic fact, it would be nice to have the possibility to hide the chat in moments of spam or just bc you don't want to see the whole chat with useless messages... I hope this suggestion is also to your liking, as always I send my warmest regards and look forward to your positive outcome. Kind Regards, Rossoo770s.
