  4. The ban didn't expire until May 7th, 2022. Meaning it has not been a year since the ban expired. Once May 7th has passed it will be changed to an inactive ban.

  5. Since I follow the speed limits on main roads I usually don't. But when crossing cities/villages where the speed limit goes down, yes I'm a bit of a maniac as I really hate to get a speed ticket for less than 10Km/h over the limit

  9. Greetings! Another year, another anniversary! This time of year is always exciting on TruckersMP, as we reflect on the past and celebrate becoming a year older. TruckersMP first opened its doors to the public on May 1st 2014, meaning we’re now looking forward to celebrating our ninth anniversary, with #TMP9. Over the span of TruckersMP’s existence, we have seen huge developments and changes, as well as immense growth and support from the community. Fast-forward to this year; TruckersMP has reached an impressive milestone of 5 million players. We've worked hard to note your suggestions, listen to your feedback and take this forward on TruckersMP, such as implementing a new server configuration. As with any anniversary, it’s great to look back and see how awesome our community is, and what we have accomplished together. For that reason, it is important to come together and celebrate the success of TruckersMP. Show your support by wearing #TMP9 in your player tag To celebrate TruckersMP turning 9, we need a party and everyone’s invited! Want the details? Well, get your party hats and poppers ready. Friday 28 April 2023 The festival will once again make its return to kick off the weekend in style. We recommend bringing your best pair of dancing shoes, along with lots of food and drinks ;) Like the past few years, we are partnering again with TruckersFM to bring you a one of a kind 5-hour Festival! Haulie Island will be opening its doors to bring you this one of a kind event and let us just tell you it’s an island like no other…the festival grounds will be located on a huge site next to the race track where our TruckersMP Tournament was located last month. That’s not all, as the island also includes a spectacular custom stage, lots of party decorations, a custom dragstrip, dirt track, race track and most importantly - great music broadcasted to you LIVE from the Truckers.FM studio. To get to the Island you will need to catch the ferry connections from Europoort or Hull. The festival will be open on Friday 28th April between the hours of 17:00 - 22:00 UTC. Alternative Timezones: https://notime.zone/NT4DaykWtai5u Server: TMP9 Festival The Festival server will be non-collision, so that it is easy for you to get around and meet others. Everyone is welcome! Saturday 29 April 2023 The celebrations don’t stop there, we're heading to ATS for a convoy! It’s time to hit the American roads to celebrate TruckersMP turning 9, so make sure to have that truck sparkling clean and ready. Here’s all the details: Departure Location: San Diego Departure Time: 17:00 UTC Destination Location: Phoenix Estimated Convoy Time: 2 Hours Alternative Timezones: https://notime.zone/NTekgOfT_L_c- Server: TMP9 Convoy Convoy Rules: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/45829-temporary-official-event-rules Sunday 30 April 2023 It’s the third day of the celebrations already - we’ll be hitting the roads of Europe for an ETS2 convoy. Here’s the details: Departure Location: Lyon Departure Time: 17:00 UTC Destination Location: Munich Estimated Convoy Time: 2 Hours Alternative Timezones: https://notime.zone/NT4Dx_R5qn8fX Server: TMP9 Convoy Convoy Rules: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/45829-temporary-official-event-rules TMP9 Freeroam It’s not a TruckersMP anniversary without this server opening up! The ‘Freeroam’ server is back again for another year. If you celebrated with us last year, you may remember we released a unique server in which the community could play online in a 'sandbox' environment. It was a massive success, and once again as a thank you to the community, we will be reopening it again exclusively for our TMP9 celebrations. So what's so special about this server? On our TMP9 Freeroam [No Road Rules] server, players will be granted access to our staff-exclusive Police car! And, to ensure you can enjoy the experience with reduced restrictions, the server will have no road rules enforced, but with the player collisions ON. As well as all of this, our very own Haulie Island will be available on the server to race your friends or even go head to head on the dragstrip, try out our new dirt track that made its debut last month or if you are not into all of that, you could just chill and take in the beach views that the Island has to offer. The server will be available on Euro Truck Simulator 2, exclusively between Monday 1st May - Sunday 21st May. Click here for TMP9 Freeroam server rules! Achievement And finally, brand new to this year’s anniversary, if you join any of the TruckersMP 9 events (including the freeroam server), you will automatically receive a #TMP9 achievement on your profile. Thank you for playing, and we look forward to celebrating with you <3 -TruckersMP Team --> View post on homepage

  11. Hi all. As you know, TruckersMP's birthday is coming soon. My question is, if TruckersMP were a real trucker, what gift would you give?

  14. ^^ This. A ban can be extended if the player has been reported by different people (and for different offenses) in a short period, but it will still be ONE ban. Several different bans in a short time span (like less than 50 hours of game time) usually mean either what you mentioned: a troll, or what Flaming mentioned: a really bad driver. Without knowing the exact reasons and evidences for those bans, it's impossible to tell for sure. Too many people just jump in TruckersMP only because they watched one of those stupid videos and knowing nothing about the game, they immediately go to the C-D road and get banned. Some will take notice, read the rules, try to do better, many others won't. So having 3 bans in less than 50 played hours is not only possible but also quite likely for many players.

  15. Just like @Foobrother, I follow the national speed limit and therefore don't have to worry about speed cameras.

  16. As far as I understand this scenario: same player reported several times (by various players) in a short period (couple of days). This player has his/her offenses regrouped into a single ban but with a longer ban in proportion to the amount of offenses. So this will result in 1 ban added to his/her counter even if he/she did several offenses within a couple of days.

  18. Hello @Alpha_Trucking, how is such a traffic management vehicle supposed to reach or go anywhere close to the scene of the incident if the road is blocked by a traffic jam?

  20. Good God... Over R$ 2000 for a mere 32GB Nintendo Switch in my country and over R$ 300 for a Switch game. Looks like I will never get to play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. T_T I'll fax Nintendo and tell them to rename it to "The Legend of Mike: Tears of the Dragon."

  34. Hello @Chris Flynn, I remember a similar issue being discussed in the past. In particular, the (re-)log in to the game (quick load) in the middle of roads and/or traffic jams caused mayhem after the ghost mode deactivated. My point of view was that such behavior should be considered reckless driving, which is a violation of 2.5 of the TruckersMP rules, because every player has the possibility to relocate his or her vehicle in singleplayer before re-entering multiplayer to a position that is safe for him or her and others. Others argued that relocating in single-player couldn't be expected of any player. I like your suggestion but it should consider the location of the spawned vehicle.

  38. I applaud your work you put into this suggestion. But, as mentioned by @Granite and @FernandoCR [ESP], players experience and behavior will dictate its success or failure. Your suggestion contains some areas that could turn into potential problem-creators. in particular areas where players have to either enter a lane or change lanes. In my draft below, I've marked the potential risk areas with a red circle.

  39. I think, its just for feeling and more realistics maybe? When you play with friends, you can talk about your weather in MP since there are only two options of weather its quite unnecessary.

  40. Game moderator banned me for no reason! No evidence! Such messages are probably the most popular in appeals. But I'd like to be clear for situations like this and hope you can help spread this so that as many players as possible know how it works. So, a game moderator is a difficult and responsible position, so the likelihood of errors decreases with experience. Our main work is focused on three main areas: 1. Work on the server online 2. Working with game reports 3. Working with reports on website. The first two points have one drawback - we physically cannot add evidence for a ban immediately after this ban. if we did this, it would take too much time and our work on the server would be unproductive. Thus, proofs are added after the session on the server or a little later. Why later? We are volunteers and we also have a private life, so the session in the game can end late and we need to rest. Of course, we can shorten the session, but this will again lead to less activity in the game and we will again see messages "admins are sleeping")) It's really hard to find a balance for these things, but I know that the chances of you being banned by mistake are very small and wrong bans are fixed almost immediately. Therefore, if someone does not understand the reason for the ban, just write an appeal and the moderator will add evidence and explain the reason. But there is no reason to accuse you of being banned for no reason, just wait for the moderator to get to your appeal, because it is not the only one. I also want to thank those who understand this and supports our work in the game chat, we see your messages - thank you. If you have any questions - you can ask them below, I will try to answer them, but remember, I can not tell everything. Have a nice day and happy trucking!
