List of changes from 20th January 2022: Added the caravan back to both games. Fixed an issue with truck wheels being selectable for the Scout car. Fixed a sound issue with multiple users using the Scout police siren. Added a new traffic light in Calais to improve the flow of traffic. Fixed an issue with red light fines when passing Calais highway intersection. Fixed a rare crash related to the wipers synchronization.

Hey, Firstly, I just want to say that everyone in this team was hit very very hard by the loss of Sanamaria, she was an incredible person and an amazing person to work with. Secondly, the lack of an "official statement" doesn't imply or at all suggest that we have disregarded her loss in the slightest. When something as upsetting as this happens, there's one key thing we must consider and that is privacy. We have absolutely no right to publicise the loss of a staff member and would never do so without explicit permission from their family. There is no need for a "system" or "checks and balances" for dealing with the loss of a staff member. I also would say its rather inhumane to suggest that this is now a precedent. Someone lost their life, we are not setting a law. It is incredibly sad and so many people in our team and across the community are mourning the loss of their friend. 1. Bereavement is handled differently by everyone and so people are encouraged to speak to others. 2. Unfortunately, TruckersMP is an online community and there is very little we can do in official terms to support families. Furthermore, we have no right to approach a grieving family in such a manner. If they approach us then it is different. 3. Accounts are protected and won't be touched. Let's please also consider that questions like these can reintroduce the past for those who are struggling. The loss of Sanamaria was devastating and so many staff members and community members are still struggling to come to terms with that. Lets please avoid publicly asking these sorts of questions in the future. Owen.

Hello @blabberbeak, It is one of our dreams to achieve this, so this subject is definitely on our list of projects we want to bring to TruckersMP. Currently our systems are not ready to achieve such an advanced feature and it will take time from our Game Developers to make our infrastructure and code ready for it.

Hello @dragonslayingmaster1000, At this moment, our Game Developers are focusing on the bus project and improving internal systems, to create features more efficiently in the future. In terms of the AI project, there is currently not that much progress. But it is one of our main ambitions for 2022, so we will definitely look into bringing AI to our servers this year, however it is a hard topic as this AI need to be written from scratch to work smoothly in a MMO environment.

Hello @Beanyy1, Yes, it is on our to do list. When our Game Developers were working on the Job Dispatcher, ownable trailers were on the to-do list as well. Currently, the Game Developers are focusing on other nice features such as the bus project. Ownable trailers are high on our planning, so it is likely that we see this become reality in the next month.

However, I would like to thank all my fans who have been keeping their fingers crossed for me all the time I have been a Support Trainee. It's not because I'm mad that I didn't make it, on the contrary you gave me the hope to try next time and that's what I need! Unfortunately I'm not ready for this position so I had to leave it. Hello, We just support the modifications created by our partners. Their licenses cover usage of this in American Truck Simulator and/or Euro Truck Simulator 2, and TruckersMP uses these 2 games as well. So this is something they need to sort. Also, buses created by DBus World will not be included as a benefit for Patrons which means that their buses will be available for everyone.

I understand it's not easy to have AI traffic synced for a few thousand players as opposed to just 8 people on the SCS convoy mode. Many of the roads outside of CD road and Germany are mostly dead and it would be amazing to have AI traffic to drive with while also seeing the occasional player come by instead of just completely dead roads, especially in the DLC areas. I could see it potentially bringing in much more players to TMP. I know it's not easy to give a release date but are there any new updates on how progress is going? I did see that last update on it but there's not much good info on it and doesn't go into good detail: https://truckersmp.com/kb/105

Hello, Why do we have a requirement for the TruckersMP account to be at least 12 months old, before being able to apply for staff positions? When it comes to your TruckersMP account having to be at least 12 months old, before you can consider applying, the reason behind it is very simple. During recruitments, the first reason why the 12 months requirement is set, is because we look for people that have enough experience and knowledge in our community, to have a basic understanding of someone our guidelines, rules, and systems. That way when new staff members are hired, they are already aware of some of the procedures, which simply allows for a better quality of work for both them and the community receiving better service. Another reason why there is a 12 months old account requirement, is for Management to be able to verify your activity. Users with just one or two month's old accounts are hard to judge when it comes to their activity either in-game or on our communication media (eg. Discord, Forum). With someone, who's been in the community for at least a year, there's more data to review and make a decision whether that applicant is indeed actively a part of the community, or just becoming active during recruitments, which is something we do not want to see. To sum up everything, the 12 months old account requirement allows our Management to know that the applicant has at least some knowledge in regards to our rules and guidelines, as well as provides enough data to somewhat accurately determine if they are actually active or just temporarily.
