Dear players, From the 1st February at midnight to 29th February, we are going to be looking for new Community Moderators to help engage the community on the Forum or Discord as well as ensure that the community follows the TruckersMP rules. Description of role: The Community Moderation Team is responsible for moderating all non-game related platforms that we use to interact with the community. Included in this, is moderation on our Forums, Discord guild and Facebook page as well as the TruckersMP group. Required languages: Forums: Finnish, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish Discord: Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish Social Media: English Although these are the languages that we are primarily looking for, we will be flexible. Forums: Create positive community interaction; Ensure all topics, posts, replies, status updates and messages comply with the official TruckersMP rules; Moving mistakenly submitted topics to the respective sections; Keep the forums organised; Archiving inactive topics; Handling the forum reports; Dealing with Suggestions. Discord: Create positive community interaction; Ensure all content posted in the Discord Guild complies to all Discord rules; Regularly work with the Community Moderation Manager to check the suggestions; Regularly review the Discord Guild rules and work with the Community Moderation Manager to rewrite them; Work with our users to keep a clean environment. Suggestion Name Realtime Map - Performance Improvements Suggestion Description As a frequent user of the map, I have noticed the sluggish performance of the map. I made some adjustments to the map that improve the FPS by 2 to 3 times (see images below). The code used for this can be found in the spoiler below and can easily replace the old code. Technical Details Tile has been replaced, because the memory consumption of this function was really high for two reasons: Methods of Tile didn't use the prototype property Each call to Tile.draw created a new Image object The new Tile caches the Image object after the first call to Tile.draw and reduces the stress on the garbage collector, leading to more FPS. The second improvement is rather small. The start() function has been replaced and uses requestAnimationFrame instead of setInterval for the following improvements: requestAnimationFrame intelligently determines the appropriate framerate based on the screen’s refresh rate and the device’s capabilities requestAnimationFrame does not fire when the user isn't viewing the map (e.g. on another tab) and reduces background resource usage requestAnimationFrame increases animation smoothness Images I am using a 75Hz monitor for this test and tested it in Google Chrome on Windows 10 as well as my Samsung phone (images not included). Hello! You can easily search for the Steam ID on the TruckersMP page. http://prntscr.com/qwy85u Alterniatv you can find out his TruckersMP ID via his Ingame ID. However, you must specify the TruckersMP ID for each report. You cannot report a player without his ID I hope I could answer your question. With kind regards Lukas

Hello! Currently there is no TruckersMP installer for mac, what you can do is partition the disk, install Windows and play from there (a VTC companion does that with your mac) Have a nice day!

Hello! The easiest way to restore the game economy is by changing your city. For that, choose another garage and move there. Or just sleep on some rest. The slightly more difficult way is this: 1. Go to My Documents\Eurotruck Simulator 2\profiles or My Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles and find your profile 2. Open the config.cfg in the profile folder and open with Notepad/wordpad 3. Look for uset g_developer "0" 4. Look for uset g_console "0" 5. Change the "0" to a "1" 6. Save the file (NOT save as) 7. Load your game and profile 8. Press ` key 9. Type in "uset g_force_economy_reset "1" 10. Save your game and exit 11. Reload the game and your recent saved profile 12. Open the console by pressing the ` key and pressing the up arrow 13. Repeat step 9 but change the "1" to a "0" 14. Repeat Step 11, 12 & 13 15. You should now get the "Game change detected" message 16. Your economy should now be reset Have a nice day!

Hello community, Firstly, we want to apologize for our lack of communication regarding the new game mode that was teased back in June 2018. With this post, we want to say that this feature is not dropped. We are still planning to release this feature, though there is no estimated time of arrival. Other projects and features for both website and game, internal and public features have had priority above the teased feature. At this moment of speaking, our developer is working to release an internal feature that also should have a positive impact on the amount of game reports dealt with. We've received tons of comments of you guys, mainly on YouTube, asking to get an update regarding this feature.
