Geology Rocks

As you may have already noticed, I made the hard decision this morning to leave the TMP team once again. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, and various other factors, such as COVID, my free time has decreased significantly. I've found it much more difficult to accomplish my work, so I decided to leave and allow my position to be filled with someone who can be actively contributing to the community.

 

I know some of you think all staff do is ban players, but there's so much more. I'll miss the opportunity to create exciting moments in-game, but this is something I have to do for my own sanity. I was at the point where I felt I was working two jobs, and I didn't have the time afterward to interact with the community in the ways I wanted to. I have no plans to return to the team, but who knows.

 

Thank you to everyone who's been supportive. Shout out to all the past, current, and future staff members; you're all legends. It can be challenging, but rewarding if you put yourself out there. Do more than what's required of you; get to know your player base. They appreciate it, trust me!

The Event Managers

Thank you to all those who supported us this weekend at the last ever Humanity24 event! It has been a blast and was the first event I actually stayed up overnight for. It was tiring but the event went smoothly and was a great experience to be managing.

A massive thank you to all the staff team who dedicated time day, night or both to support the event. It couldn't have been this great without you all.

Just did some Cargo runs and finished in Kärsämäki (). Drove 15,000km already today and it's only 12:30.

So the time has come, due to my job within the Emergency Services I have little spare time now to focus on TMP so I have taken the toughest decision going and have stepped down. I just want to thank you all so much for the support and love you have given me within my role.

Had an amazing first convoy with the TruckersMP event team

Howdy everyone! 

 

You might be thinking, who is this person with John his profile picture but it is me. About 3 years ago, I started to be active on TMP again and was known as John Marston. This name was based off a game character in the game Red Dead Redemption which was one of my favourite games. During the years I became more known in the TMP community with this name due to RLC, my TMP role and my streams but I later decided to remove the Marston part in order to create my own person instead of a game character and also because many people only called me John.

 

Lately I have been thinking about chancing my name to Beau which is my real name. With this name, I can be myself and some of you already knew my real name from before. I can understand that this is going to feel weird in the beginning to call me something else as everybody is used to call me John for 3 years.
