  2. Hey truckers, ⠀ There’s always a great sense of accomplishment when we look at the amazing community we have built here over the years. When TruckersMP first began, it was a small pipedream, with the team at the time having no idea it would eventually become something to this magnitude. TruckersMP was first launched by a group of dedicated Euro Truck Simulator 2 players who were looking for a more realistic and immersive multiplayer experience. The mod quickly gained popularity among the game's community, and over the years the team behind TruckersMP has continued to develop and improve the mod to include new features and support for new game updates. February marked a new, incredible milestone: 5,000,000 registered accounts. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the TruckersMP team, as well as the dedicated community of trucking enthusiasts who have made the mod such a success. It was only in February 2021 that we celebrated reaching 4,000,000 users - so to gain one million players in such a short amount of time is truly spectacular. Since then, we have continued to bring you exciting new content such as our very own job dispatcher, Operation HQ and our partnership with DBus World. We’d like to extend our thanks to all of you that continue to play TruckersMP and interact with us on a daily basis - the community is at the core of what we do, and without you, this project would not exist. This is also a perfect moment to recognise the immense amount of time given by our dedicated staff team. Without them, everything we do here really would not be possible. You can watch our video marking the occasion, by clicking here. As we have reached this impressive 5 million registered users milestone, we would like to take a moment to celebrate and thank the entire TruckersMP community for their continued support. We look forward to the future and continuing to develop and improve the mod for years to come. Your feedback and participation in surveys & polls give us the energy to keep developing the community we all love. Thank you! The TruckersMP Team --> View post on homepage

-TruckersMP Teamet

  14. Congratulations on 5,000,000 registered users - A huge milestone indeed! From my time within the team, and through my commitments in other projects, I've always had a huge passion for the TruckersMP community, and it's great to see that this achievement has finally been accomplished. The discussions that have taken place within the user panel, combined with the recent surveys will hopefully provide a clear path to new achievements and further milestones. Although some users still have their doubts, from my perspective, TruckersMP is entering a whole new chapter, and it's clear things are about to get much better. Furthermore, I would like to thank TruckersMP for their hard work and dedication in providing a platform for truckers to play Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator together in an online multiplayer environment. The TruckersMP team has worked tirelessly over the years to make sure that the platform is always up to date with the latest game updates, as well as providing an ever-growing list of features that make playing with others even more enjoyable. From the introduction of the new job dispatcher to the addition of buses, the TruckersMP team has done a great job of making sure that the platform is always improving and expanding. The team has also gone the extra mile to ensure that the platform is secure and safe for all players. It's also clear that the TruckersMP team has also taken the time to listen to the community and implement features that players have requested. This has resulted in a platform that is constantly being improved and tweaked to make sure that it is the best experience for all players. Finally, I would like to thank the TruckersMP team for their commitment to providing a great experience for all players. They have evidently worked hard to make sure that the platform is always running smoothly and that players are always having a great time. Thank you, TruckersMP team, for all your hard work and dedication!

  15. Hello there, If you have any questions about TrucksBook, please contact the TB Support Team through TrucksBook Contact for more accurate answers. Anyway, since you asked for help, I'll give you the best solution I know. The reason the TruckersBook client isn't working is that your client may have been installed twice, or the installation process may have overlapped with an older version, so it doesn't complete the "download" inside the client. The simplest way to solve the problem is to uninstall and then reinstall the client. Files included in the TB client (You need to remove these files): SII_Decrypt.exe (236.00 KB) TB Client.exe (1.28 MB) TBcleaner.exe (642.50 KB) unins000.exe (708.16 KB) File Data: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\TrucksBook Client_is1 1. Enter the computer control panel 2. Select the Uninstall a Program tab 3. Tap the shape and search for "TruckersBook" 4. Select "TruckersBook" and click Delete 5. Also, search for "File Explorer" in the Windows search bar 6. Delete all TB files on your computer If this doesn't solve your problem, please contact TrucksBook, who may be able to give you a more accurate answer.

  22. Suggestion Name: VTC Job Tracker Suggestion Description: While you are in a VTC, this tracker will track the jobs that you complete, how many miles you've done and the income of the job. This will only finish tracking when you have completed a job or cancelled it. If the job was cancelled then it won't add to the website of your VTC. It will also show how much damage you acquired while you're transporting cargo. Once a job has been completed, it will be displayed on your VTC page. For people who wish for this information to be private, then there will be an option given to the VTC owner to set that as an option. This will work the same as Trucksbooks but this will not require any third-party devices since it will be exclusive to TMP. If a member of your VTC is no longer the driver then the system will recognise that and remove them automatically from the job tracking panel. Therefore, you won't have to fuss around trying to remove an ex-members stats. I do understand that my description is fairly brief, but I am sure that people who are already in VTC's or own a VTC will be able to understand what I am on about. To put it simply, this will be a mechanic that tracks your jobs and shares them on your VTC page. Any example images: Please note that the income and mileage may not be accurate, this is only a rough sketch of how it could look like on the website of your VTC. Why should it be added?: First and foremost I do understand that this could take a lot of work to implement, however, I believe that this will be a helpful mechanic to add. It also eliminates the issue of using third-party software to track mileage. Understandably, there are loads of VTC's who already do this and may wish to continue doing so even if this gets implemented but there are a load of new VTC's who may not be aware of how to do it. As mentioned on the VTC page, it says "Improve the experience". By adding a tracker, I do believe will do just that since it is something that has been missing out in the virtual trucking community. As said earlier, I understand that this could take a lot of work to implement since not only will there be work needed to implement a tracking system but to share the results onto the website also. You'll also have to work on an option setting that allows VTC owners to reset the tracker since some VTCs resets their hours monthly. Realistically, this could come with a lot of grey areas and could take a lot of time to add but I do feel like once it is done it would make an amazing feature!

  23. Suggestion Name: VTC Report system in website Suggestion Description: The VTC reporting system I have proposed would be very helpful in improving the status of the VTC system. Once the VTC system was set up, there was not really anyone to oversee the system, and a lot of people set up their companies for fun. The picture I have attached is not the final text, it just shows the basics of the system. In the pop up window you could choose from the TMP VTC policy points, the same as the in-game report system, or with a text box underneath, you could write down the explicit problem if there is inappropriate use of words in the company. Any example images: Why should it be added?: The existing solution is to use the feedback system for this purpose, where players had to collect the companies and report them in a feedback form. In many cases ( when looking through more than 100 companies ), it was no longer transparent in the case of the many links what reason was written for which company, but this system would send the problem directly to the staff, speeding up the company reports.

  29. Suggestion Name: Option to hide players inside the non-collision zone. Suggestion Description: If this option is enabled, players inside the NCZ will not be visible to other drivers inside and outside NCZ. Players inside the NCZ with this option enabled will only be able to see drivers outside the NCZ to allow them to observe traffic around them. If a game moderator is moderating a session, they will only be able to see the suspect inside the NCZ and no other drivers around in the area. This option can of course be disabled. If the player leaves the NCZ, they will be put into a 5 second ghost mode after leaving to prevent collisions with other individuals leaving at the same time, regardless if this option is enabled. Any example images: Not an example but this sums up this in a flowchart. Why should it be added?: This option should be made available for all players as driving around busier areas and in convoys is usually difficult for low end PC users. When this option is enabled, this might boost frames for low end users. In addition to this, this would be useful for convoys or collecting cargo as it is difficult to reverse into a bay while other drivers are around. This option may also be useful for game moderators as this improves their visibility on their suspect.

  30. Hello, @Astraal. Congratulations on resolving the TruckersMP update error with the solution I provided. As @Titanic4 said, you need Game.Crash logs to know the exact cause. How to Submit Game.Crash Log? Open your file explorer and go to "My Documents" Locate and open either Euro Truck Simulator2 folder Locate and open Game.crash There will be a lot of text in this document. Select it all by pressing "CTRL+A" on the keyboard then copy it by either right clicking and selecting copy or by using the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+C" Go to https://pastebin.com and paste all the text into your website The website URL changes as you enter text. Submit your changed URL here However, You don't provide "Game.Crash" so I can't figure out the exact problem, but I'll let you know the general solution to the problem you're experiencing. The reason why the game crashes due to the Navio plugin is that the folder path contains CJK characters. A workaround is to use the "-homedir" argument to copy the ETS2 and/or ATS folders to a path that does not contain CJK characters. Add "-homedir Drive:\Path\To\Root" to your TruckersMP or ETS2 console options. That is, entering "-homedir D:\GameData" in the game console via the "-homedir" argument will avoid the error character. This will help you to understand the solution => https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=1179490#p1179490 Enter your game location in "-homedir Drive:\Path\To\Root" In my case, I entered "D:\GameData" because ETS2 is included in "D:\GameData" Again, I need the crash files to know the exact cause. That way I can provide you with an accurate solution.

  42. The story behind the project... Concept of the scoreboard. Project started pretty simple - I was 16 years old guy who wanted to create multiplayer mod for a game with huge potential. Before ETS2 release I was looking at the ETS 1 and GTS binaries to investigate how to implement multiplayer however without any sensible results. I've created ETS2MP project 1 or 2 days after release of ETS2 - started it not from codding (sounds crazy isn't it?) but from creating fanpage on Facebook - it allowed me to gather huge community - the likes were increasing every day by a numbers from 10 to 100. First part of development was not fruitful enough as there were many unknowns I faced. (In the spare time there were few developers joining and leaving team - no one had enough knowledge and time to spend on creating mod). In August 2013 mwl4 joined the forces of development team and we have pushed the core code a little bit forward - mwl4 and his knowledge of prism3d engine build was definitely something that was needed for the project to success - I was never touching mods and the general data structure in prism3d so my knowledge was limited to that what i found in binaries (I used to create mods for R*-games (GTA:SA etc) not SCS one). After sometime we decided to use movers to spawn the trucks instead of trying to use normal vehicles - mwl4 created a map with placed few white scanias (2-3 - I don't really remember) and we decided to synchronize them somehow. The problem was that it was not really good solution and we had to build the trucks model-by-model also the scene structure in prism3d did not allowed us to simply update the position and update the placements used by fustrum culling so the trucks were disappearing when they were too far from spawn point. In the meantime we decided to use the same technique and try it in German Truck Simulator (video) - it worked however trucks in mirrors had exactly the same problem as the trucks in normal viewport in ETS2 - it was just experiment and we didn't thought about releasing it to public. Then I decided to start implementing spawning of the vehicle the same way as local truck is spawned - after few weeks of work without any result we decided to ask for a little tips someone from SCS - the person we wrote to was not a CEO but the programmer - Komat - after some messages we finally managed to spawn trucks. (Unfortunately I don't have any access to old forum [if it still exists] - there was nice post showing the colorful trucks that were spawned next to my truck). After that we had trucks spawned so we decided to finally write the networking part - chat, synchronization and many others. Few videos later - people asked us - what about the cargo - where are trailers? So I decided to finally implement spawning of trailers. It was not hard as the code of spawning trailers and trucks is nearly the same (some things are different however I'm not going to write it here in detail). A little screenshots from spawning trailers (3rd January 2014): However between spawning of the trailers and implementing the network code for them we decided to drive some more fancy trucks instead of grey DAF XFs so we synchronized accessories of the trucks. (29th January 2014) It was a great milestone in the project. We were able to finally use our own truck configurations of the trucks. Such a great thing. You can notice that there are no shadows for the network trucks on the screenshots (in fact it looks like bad photoshop) - so next step was implementing the shadows for the trucks. (12th February 2014) And just after that we have synchronized trailers: (22nd February 2014) After that we were working on improvements and crash fixes with the closed group of testers. On 25 April we have announced that Open Alpha starts on 1st May. However we decided to publish the mod few hours before 1st of May (I think it was something like 20:00 - 30 April) - the mod was totally unplayable - and it was mostly my mistake as the code to look for the proper streaming zone in server was using huge loop instead of using some smart math - after fixing it the mod was getting more fixes and we finally managed relativly stable version to focus on making next update. After many months of working on the mod in January 2015 I decided to drop the High school. In that time I started talking with SCS Software CEO - Pavel Sebor about eventuall employment in SCS - in March 2015 i went to Prague for the interview - it was successfull so I decided I will leave the project as it was something that definitely will not work (working at SCS and making fan multiplayer mod) on April 7th I started working at SCS and I'm here until now. Who knows what future will bring to me.. . I would like to thank: mwl4 - for his dedication to the project, knowledge and a lot of work, Komat - for very important advices and tips while creating the mod, pcpl2 - for his help and many non-sleppy nights with manually running unstable servers again, I<3VODKA - for many cool conversations, great project management, playing Knights and Merchants and Town Of Salem together, JM - for his bugfixes to my poor PHP code, kat_pw - for his unbelievably great map project + bugfixes for my poor PHP code, Eliximus - for helping me with many things, Yntro - for support, StuartD - for community management and testing, Stefag40 - for testing, Manuel - for a great community management and his meeting point project, Burner - for helping with many things, Biggi Darreugne The rest of the team. Guys - you are amazing! The rest of this story is you :-). Best regards, Eryk "RootKiller" Dwornicki Former Project Leader and Programmer
