However, you will not receive the answer to the question you have asked here. Personally, I see no point in chasing opinions from others regarding a matter when you could just find out the reason yourself, from the very people who made the decision. If you disagree with it, then a conversation with them would be by far the most constructive way to move forwards. But hey, each to their own - you appear to have a lot of time so by all means, crack on, if speculation and conspiracy is what you’re after, rather than addressing your concerns properly.

I’m aware of what a forum is, and what it’s sections entail. I’m just advising the best place to get some solid and reliable answers, if it is a matter that people are genuinely concerned about.

We have decided to disband the Official Streamer role as we would like to shift towards a collaborative network model between our team and content creators, rather than internalising them within our team. We believe there is a mutual benefit in strengthening content creators within our network to build their own communities and for us to provide the exposure they deserve, for instance in the form of utilising our Community Contributors programme more and better, instead of essentially competing with them through our own channels. Our own channels will be reserved for more official content, such as first looks, Q&As, and other promotional content. After further consideration, and taking a look at more community feedback, it was decided to make changes to the way the AFK timer functions in TruckersMP! Now when the server is at under 90% capacity, regular players have a 30 minute AFK timer, whilst patrons have an unlimited AFK timer. When the server is busier, and at over 90% capacity, these times reduce to 10 minutes for regular players and 30 minutes for patrons. // Accepted

Hey truckers, ⠀ There’s always a great sense of accomplishment when we look at the amazing community we have built here over the years. When TruckersMP first began, it was a small pipedream, with the team at the time having no idea it would eventually become something to this magnitude. TruckersMP was first launched by a group of dedicated Euro Truck Simulator 2 players who were looking for a more realistic and immersive multiplayer experience. The mod quickly gained popularity among the game's community, and over the years the team behind TruckersMP has continued to develop and improve the mod to include new features and support for new game updates. February marked a new, incredible milestone: 5,000,000 registered accounts. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the TruckersMP team, as well as the dedicated community of trucking enthusiasts who have made the mod such a success. It was only in February 2021 that we celebrated reaching 4,000,000 users - so to gain one million players in such a short amount of time is truly spectacular. Since then, we have continued to bring you exciting new content such as our very own job dispatcher, Operation HQ and our partnership with DBus World. We’d like to extend our thanks to all of you that continue to play TruckersMP and interact with us on a daily basis - the community is at the core of what we do, and without you, this project would not exist. This is also a perfect moment to recognise the immense amount of time given by our dedicated staff team. Without them, everything we do here really would not be possible. Patrons now have access to some exclusive skins, such as on the Scout car and on the BlueBus added to TruckersMP. In the future, we will continue to look into providing more exclusive patron skins. // Moved to Done

A variation of this car has recently come up for voting as the Patreon Alternating Vehicle. If voted in, the vehicle's colour and underglow will be supported!

Hey everyone, There has been some great discussion regarding this topic, and it has certainly been interesting to hear the thoughts given here. Adding content that is as significant as a whole bus for patrons can be difficult, as we do not want to make others feel that they are missing out. This would certainly apply to the concept of buses as a whole on TruckersMP, but also most likely to additional buses. This is largely due to the huge amount of work it would take to add an additional bus in-game and the fact we would class this as part of our core experience on TruckersMP, meaning it is something we would like to offer to the whole community - rather than restricting this to just patrons. We're certainly looking into new and exciting perks for patrons, and once we have that cemented, we look forward to sharing those with you! For now, I will move this suggestion to declined.

Hello everyone! ⠀ ⠀ Exactly three years ago, back in November 2019, we started brainstorming about a new launcher - the app that players use to connect to our servers. Due to various reasons, however, the project never really came to fruition. Hiring our DevOps engineer 3v changed this and revived the project, going back to basics and starting from scratch. ⠀ Until now, the launcher was mainly used to connect to our servers, but it was our dream to expand the possibilities and improve the user experience. There is plenty of information that we know users like to keep themselves updated with, and we have an understanding that it can be hard to keep track of everything going on through just the website sometimes. Have you ever wanted to see what servers are busiest before launching TruckersMP? Do you want to take a look at upcoming events without having to head to the event system? Or perhaps you want to make sure you do not miss any quick announcements from the website, check our official socials or the current versions of the games? ⠀ We are happy to announce that we are now ready to share our brand new, modern launcher with you! All of the above and more is now possible from directly within our launcher, allowing for you to spend less time looking for information and more time playing. In addition, moving forward, the new launcher allows us to maintain and improve our download server infrastructure, and more easily tackle technical issues as they arise.
