Just got about recording while in game in multiplayer so you can record idiots doing stuff to report. Can you use this in a fast manner so you tab right click report player and somehow use a recording to send to an admin and if so who do you email or forum message?

You can set hotkeys so you save the last x seconds in some recorders.

You can report players here: http://truckersmp.com/en_US/reports/create

I think that OBS is the best for me -no framerate loss, no lags, storage isn't really used compared to Fraps, and settings capablities- (even with a Nvidia GT530 and with two screen setup)

That's why I prefer to use OBS :)

^ I don't think anybody can answer exactly what settings you need to use in order to get what you want from OBS, unless that person has the exact same PC setup as you. The only way for you to find out what the best settings for you are is simply by trying different settings and seeing how they work.

Also, I finally updated the OP! I added Plays.TV, fixed some spelling errors and also made the post look a lot better with a lot less spaces. Not really sure why it had 50 spaces between each sentence but oh well, they're fixed now :P

And Edgarinskas, that is the actual price of Camtasia, haha. You need to buy the Camtasia Studio which comes with the recording software and the editing software, that's why it's so expensive. I tried to find if there was a way of buying only the recorder, but I don't think so. Atleast I didn't find anything

Is there any software that would record only my middle screen while running 3 monitors? (5760x1080)

Really want to start recording but having a hard time finding something that would work

Check out my HTC Vive game play videos on YouTube.

Obs can be set up to record from o0nly oe program, or one screen

Dude, this is an internet forum. You can't expect people to read stuff. Jeez.

And we want players who can behave, I'm afraid we can't have what we want :(

Try to set your middle screen as primary monitor or monitor no 1, some recorder only record from monitor no 1 only :3

FRAPS is the only programme that will record lag free for me :) but I had a problem today :( I was recording the chaos at Rotterdam Service Station earlier and the first 55 mins is perfect after that I stopped it recording and started it again (straight away) and from that point onwards FRAPS recorded no sound what so ever :(:(:(

Just went and  did a quick recording test in mp using FRAPS and it recorded the audio again. WTF? Why did it not record the audio earlier? What's going on? Not having the sound has kind of ruined the last 30 mins of footage from Rotterdam Service Station :(:(:(

I right clicked and clicked properties on 2 of the recordings/video - one that recorded sound and one that didn't - look:

I normally use ShadowPlay to record my gameplays, but years ago I used Bandicam. Good old times hehe. I made a Dutch translation, since there's a German one already:

Spoiler

You should add "Xbox DVR" to the list. It's already included in W10, no need to download anything as far as I know. + It's very lightweight, I have a low end computer and I have no FPS drops when using it (on ETS2 at least).

I was gonna say that, i've caught strange stuff on there.

Here is one that happened to me the other day.

So Yeah, there are many different recording software's you can use to record your gameplay on American Truck Simulator or (any game in general)

I Can Start Listing But For Now, Lets Figure Out Your Computer Specs. For Example, Different Graphics Cards Can Come Default With A Specific Recording Software made for that specific graphics card. For Example, This Mainly Applies To NVIDIA Graphics Cards But Lets Say For Example You Have An (AMD Radeon R7 240 2gb Graphics Card). This Card Does Not Come With A Recording Software Specifically For That Graphics Card. Now Lets Say You Have A NVIDIA GTX 750ti Or A NVIDIA GTX 1080TI . These Cards I Just Listed Actually Come With A Software Which You Can Record With Called NVIDIA SHADOWPLAY. If You Download The Software From This Link

NVIDIA ShadowPlay : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/

Now Lets Say Your Graphics Card Doesnt Have A Recording Software Made For It.

Here are Some Links You Can Use For Recording That You Can Use. Be Advised, I Personally Use OBS for All My Recordings.

1. OBS Recording : https://obsproject.com/download

2. Camtasia Studio : https://camtasia-studio.en.softonic.com/

3. Bandicam : https://www.bandicam.com/free-screen-recorder/

4. Plays.tv : https://plays.tv/

5. NVIDIA SHADOWPLAY : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/

6. FRAPS : http://www.fraps.com/download.php

You Can Use Any Of These To Record With Except For Shadowplay Unless You Own A NVIDIA Graphics Card

I Hope I Helped You Decide What Options There Are For Recording Softwares.

In Regards
