I've had only one Scout for long now that it feels strange to have another one.

I won't get into any details but let me just say this; that today I have confirmed what I already always thought: That the ATS player base is far more civilized, educated, mature and more well-mannered than ETS2's player base.

Seriously. Holy Christ! The difference is astounding!

I've never set wheel on this server before. I might go there for a little while, later, now that I have a reason to.

115 video reports later and over 120 reports total since reports were first implemented back in the day when to report you had to make a forum post on a specific thread in the old forums and now I will be dealing with matters with my own hands.

Those are not blood stains, by the way. Those are... uuh... strawberry juice stains scattered all over the place, yeah. And those people are not dead they are just, erm... asleep, yes. They've passed out from drinking too much strawberry juice, yis.

Gonna take a break from web reports for the moment to get in-game and start to get myself acquainted with the tools I will be using so I can start acting, soon. I can tell that I will have to reassign two keys because of it, though but that's ok. Will just need to get used to the new keys after I change my controls for Quick Save and Quick Load. lol Gonna start with something simple to gain some practice without being overwhelmed. Gonna hop on ATS to learn the in-game tools.

So yeah! The rank I never actually really aimed for. Well, not until very recently, at least. Hahah. Anyway... IGA. Here I come! :3

So, what happens now?

So this happened.

I am back after suddenly vanishing on Wednesday and I am furious. Here's what happened...

I was working on some appeals last Wednesday evening when suddenly I lost connection to the internet. I restarted the modem and router several times and eventually I reached the conclusion that maybe the ISP was having some issues (even though I called them and there was no citation of any known problems in their services at the time) so I let it sit. Thursday came in and there was still no internet connection. It was also a holiday for me so I slept in but in the morning my brother called the ISP to complain that internet still was off for us and he was guided through the phone to hard reset the modem as one final test and guess what? The bloody thing wouldn't reset at all, meaning that it was actually dead. With that becoming known, the attendant on the other side of the phone scheduled a technician to come to our house and replace the modem. The problem? The date and time he was scheduled to come: TODAY AFTER 12:30 PM! >:( Even worse is that I had work to do and I was depending on the internet to do it and the bloody technician only showed up past 4:15 PM, just about an hour ago! UUGH!! I AM SO UPSET!

I am actually so furious about this situation that I had to ask my dad to talk to the technician and watch over his work instead of me because if I were to do that, I would end up being rude to him and it's not even his fault all of this happened.

But anyway... internet's back now, we got a new modem to replace the faulty one and all I need to do now is rush to catch up with everything I missed in these past two days. Got a lot of appeals to respond to, I need to work on reports and I need to make up for all the work I had to miss out on today (job work). I was supposed to deliver a client's laptop today but because I had no internet I could not finish it. Now I will have to work on it tonight and deliver it tomorrow morning. >:(

Also, congratulations to all of my colleagues who got their promotion, today! I wonder if I would have got it too had I not been offline these two days. ;-; Oh well!

You know what? I'll just say this... Most of you people may dislike ATS but I love it and I think it deserves more love and attention. If I get promoted, that game will be having an IGA around a lot more often.

Hundreds of reports are created on the site on a daily basis. If you filed (or will file) a new report then please wait and it will be handled as soon as possible. Do not message admins about reports unless you need to alert a specific admin about a mistake he/she made when dealing with a specific report. Be patient. We are not machines and we can only process so many reports in a given time. We are not paid to do this job, it is voluntary and we use our free time to do it. Time this that could be used for better things like watching a movie, hanging out with friends, playing a game to have fun, reading a good book, etc. but instead we dedicate this time to you: The community. So please, be patient and do not rush the staff.
