You need to go to Steam, right click ETS2 and click 64bit DirectX. Let it run for a few seconds and then move cursor (this is SP mode btw), then close the game and open it in MP mode.

Fixes it for me, if that doesn't fix it. Try Opening truckersmp launcher and press F1, this forces re-install and may help.

@SgtBreadStick Thank you very much ! it worked when i opened my game in 64 bit direct x in singpleplayer and then opened online. 

There's a few people with mouse issues, and I was in a call trying to help someone out. He restarted his PC, uninstalled drivers with DDU, using latest version like me, same directx version like me, nearly same graphics card, he reinstalled ETS2 and TruckersMP and I was monitoring that while he was screensharing, and we still couldn't figure out why his game would go straight in SP instead of seeing the login menu to select servers. And ATS is just fine... Just ETS 2 bugging. Asking him to opt out of all beta, remove all launch parameters, run game as DirectX 64, would run fine after some of the steps I asked him to do, but still the MP wouldn't work, it freezes to the profile selection menu.

Haha, it was quite hard to complete that event for sure. But I did it!

If you look at the map detail compared to ATS the difference is huge.

 

ETS is just a huge copy and paste. The only difference is the terrain and maybe a few new buildings here and there. If you go to ATS, no matter where you go on the map despite how 'small' it may seem you'll see a new environment.

 

I strongly prefer ATS because of it's detail. If there were more players I'd probably go on it more.

ETS2 released a couple years before ATS aswell

Yeah, the game has just crashed to desktop for me.

it has crashed to desktop for me 3 times while trying to play ATSMP.

Same for me, so went on ETS2 instead with no issues at all.

I do not like it in Italy that there are not some Colisson zones in some companies

Well depends where you are driving, try taking longer jobs, i guarantee there will be less tolls. And even if they are 9th gear 30-40km/h and then back to 90 or 80. But i bet it is pain in the butt if you are speeder, one more reason to drive normally.
