Suggestion Name: Back new CD road to servers TruckersMP Suggestion Description: You probably remember a funny joke from TruckersMP that they gave us players a new road, which is quite popular on TruckersMP servers we are talking about Calais-Duisburg, but on April 2 they removed it and wrote that it was a joke. I believe that the effort of the people who were responsible for the work of modifying this road was wasted and the road itself was really at a good level and would give a nice refreshment on the map especially truck park with service was really sensational. Old Calais-Duisburg road has its own vibe, but development is also about changing something not standing still. Any example images: Why should it be added?: As I mentioned above it would give you a large parking lot where you can organize convoys, obviously not on Simulation 1, but also of course refreshing old areas that are ugly and introducing something new.23 points

180? I think it starts now, doesn't it? Where in this world does a normal truck do 180? Then you have to play in singleplayer if you are convinced of that, simple.6 points

Speeds of 150 - 180 km/h are far too high and unrealistic. It is still a simulation and not a truck racing game.4 points

I enjoyed this road. We could have something like Simulation 1 is the classic CD road and Simulation 2 is the new CD road. It would go well with Sim 2 having a higher speed limit imo3 points

This is not a good idea. For example, on the Simulation servers my ping ranges from 90 to 120. What you are suggesting is only people in central Europe can play on the Simulation servers. That is a horrible idea and will tank our player count. We already have an auto kick for when peoples latencies are too high, there is no need to lower it.2 points
-
High latency ≠ Bad connection Remember this is not a game where you should be relying on instant reactions like CS:GO (or other similar games), even on connections with around 300ms ping most players can be fine on everyone's screen. The majority of problems people have when latency is high is because they drive too close to the player in front (less than 50m). You should never drive this close even if the player has a perfect 30ms connection, because there's no guarantee that you, the other player, or the server (not often, but can happen) won't lag (and that's alongside the fact its dumb in the first place). The problem is when people have an unstable connection and they occasionally drop internet for a second or their latency constantly changes (changes more than 50ms+/- frequently). There's already a system in place to kick people with an unstable connection, and anyone over 600ms of average latency will also get kicked. And as for the people blaming lag on crashing...it's just a sad excuse. You can see if a player is actually lagging, as their wheels will be spinning faster than they are actually moving. Most players who say are simply trolls trying to avoid a ban and actually have a good connection.2 points

With small modifications, such as moving the F7 area much further away from main road and extending the highway, at least to the straight sections with smooth transition between the road and the connected highway along with using similar asset used for - border for the fuel station on both sides on French side of the highway, this should be possible. The game slowed down quite significantly when the F7 area was congested while driving on the main road.2 points

I don't agree with adding the road back because it was a complete mess, but I totally agree with the fact of adding the service area. The gas stations at the CD are the smallest ones and when a big truck comes inside it usually blocks everyone else.2 points

I agree. I hope that they will add more parking place on CD, or that they expand the gas stations, to avoid traffic jams.2 points

New CD Road can reduce the number of issues and accidents that the old CD Road had2 points

I absolutely agree.Small innovations should be introduced that attract interest from most players. I believe that it will create a better environment for convoys, events, etc.2 points

@Bello QAQ @HENGYA I'm quoting from the game rules. You are playing the game incorrectly. "Important: Every player is just able to comment once per 5 numbers (you can for example be the first one commenting, then you have to stop posting until 6 or it won't count). If a staff member of TruckersMP posts something (it doesn't matter what), you have to start at 1 again => every staff member is just able to stop the game again after at least 3 other staff members have interrupted in between. If we reach number 75, we'll go up to the next level" you can see on the first page. 162 points

I think there should be a 150-180 speed limit in certain places, for example, 150 on the d.c road, 180 on the highway, 90 in the same cities, or that logic is 150 km on single-lane roads, 180 km on highways.2 points

One of the trucks I said "I wish it would come" I am sure that most of the players want them to come, but each truck should receive a separate document for it to arrive, which will be a very long process, maybe in the future, maybe in the years like 2025, or the TruckersMP team can surprise you and bring it all at once. after all, a team full of surprises.1 point

I like that bus and don't think it's a terrible idea, but then we have to remember this is a trucking simulator experience and if they start adding in too many buses and cars what's the point of buying a truck? That's just my thoughts on the topic.1 point

I quite agree. The in-game report system in its actual state doesn't work efficiently due to the combination of a high number of sent reports, overworked game moderators, and a too short claim time. And if that wasn't already bad enough, players whose reports weren't claimed have to spend valuable time creating the same report again in the web report system. A direct connection between the in-game report system and the web report system is clearly missing here. In-game reports that weren't claimed in time should be saved as a draft in the web report system of the reporting player for later use.1 point
