Is it just me or YouTube is kinda broken today for any of you as well? The Like/Dislike buttons on comments are missing for all comments on several videos and that freaking abomination that I hate called "Autoplay" simply won't stay off, no matter how many times I switch it off. I switch it off on one video but when I go to another, the freaking thing is back on. So annoying! I actually installed a browser extension (ImprovedTube) to control that and a couple other things (default video quality kept setting itself back to Auto instead of 1080p, as well, though that has been going on for days) but not even that is being able to keep the Autoplay off.

I just bought a mouse from DELL a few days ago which should come in the mail in a couple weeks or so but perhaps I should have waited to buy one. I am highly tempted to buy this one now and I don't even give a crap about "gamer" gear. D:

Indeed. Quick delivery (and do take "quick" with a grain of salt, by the way) can increase the price of a product quite a lot depending on where it is shipping from. The quickest type can vary from 20 bucks or so to over 60. Even the slowest delivery type can be a bit costly at times so in an economy like Brazil's, where all things tech are expensive as hell, you gotta make some sacrifices here and there to save as much as possible.

And another awesome Real Operations event has come to a close. Been in group 1 once more and this time, I crashed my Scania. I said I would, and I did!
And by the end, nothing better than a photoshoot with most of the staff. :3 (not gonna tag all because that would be a lot of tags and I actually don't remember all the names.)

As the Sunday rolls in and we think about the event that we'll have later, I leave you with a philosophical piece of food for thought because who needs logic this early in the morning, anyway? I'll go to bed, good night!

I was just looking into processors that are compatible with the Gigabyte F2A55M-S1 motherboard that I have on my second computer to find a model that should offer good performance (preferably something at the level of my Core i5 760 on my main PC) for an affordable price and I came to the conclusion that the AMD Athlon X4 760K should be the perfect one. Similar general performance/specs to that of the i5 760 and it doesn't seem to cost much! The only problem is... the ONLY ONE I could find for sale online is used (which isn't really much of a big deal) and though the price is pretty good and within my budget, the seller only delivers within his own state, which completely rules out my chance of getting my hands on that processor. >:(
I guess I'll have to stick with that crappy AMD A4-4000 processor I currently have in that computer for another while. ;-;

The Real Operations V3 is coming up this Sunday. I've been part of the last two ones and once more, I'll be joining the third one. Though since I used a construction truck on the first simulation and a police on the second to direct the flow of traffic, I am thinking whether or not I should use my construction truck again on V3 or perhaps be the one to simulate a crashed truck. That's a role I haven't played yet.
Hmmm... construction
Or crash the Scania?
I might crash the Scania. Just because it's a Scania.

Let's hope so! Even though it's unlikely.

Well they've been working for some time on buyable trailers if you mean that. There is wishlist on their forums, on it are/were buyable trailers too and they've been under "work in progress, but it will take time" over 2 years, so it would be about time.
Some kind of change to economy would be welcome too...

Just a little PSA to all:
Do not message Game Moderators or other staff members to ask/demand your unban. Also don't discuss it in the forums or public Discord. This sort of matter can only be dealt with between you and the Game Moderator who banned you. Any by no means spam the staff. That could result in further trouble for you as it may violate rule §1.3, which states the following (I'll highlight the bits you gotta watch out for in this case):
§1.3 Spamming or Abuse
Using any of the report or communication systems provided on TruckersMP services inappropriately. This can include but not limited to spamming them, reporting users multiple times with same evidence and misusing the system for its intended purposes. This can include but isn't limited to: In-game chat, forum posts, support tickets, feedback tickets, appeals, reports. So watch yourself before you wreck yourself! Alright?

So...
My brother have the awful habit of ALWAYS use up all of our bandwidth for his cloud storage programs that are always running 24/7, torrent downloads in the most inappropriate of times, etc., so my connection is always heavily affected (can't even watch YouTube on 1080p or 720p, sometimes when his PC is on) and talk to him about this matter is like talking to a door. Except that the door does what it is supposed to and won't fight back.
So I hid Ultra VNC in his computer on the last time I formatted it to check what exactly he's doing to cause our internet to slow down so much. Occasionally, when it happens, I take my revenge by messing around with his PC by sending commands remotely.
Shortly ago I connected and simply kept Ctrl (and occasionally Shift, instead) pressed while he tried to browse the internet. He got so confused and mad because he thought his keyboard was acting up. He even Googled "My keyboard is nuts" to try and troubleshoot it. lol It was hilarious. XD But of course, there is no real problem. He eventually shut it down and the internet speed went back to normal for me immediately. -
Welp... Time to spend the money I was saving for the Special Cargo DLC and/or Star Fox Assault on this, instead. :|

By the way, Equestria Daily mentioned the game is available for pre-order on Steam, though there is no option for that for me. Does any of you have the option to pre-order it? I'd like to double check that information.

Yesterday I posted this: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/profile/666-mike-dragon/&status=74016&type=status
I was so upset about this job/task that I couldn't sleep so I spent the night of Saturday until Sunday (today) morning working on that pesky laptop. Though I had no response from my boss, I took the liberty to go ahead and carry on with my idea anyway. After spending almost an hour fighting the laptop to get it open (seriously, Samsung has put locks EVERYWHERE in that body! Even the RAM is locked away in a cage-like thing. They really won't want this thing to be serviced) I eventually got it open with full access to the hard drive. I then removed it from the laptop, plugged it in on my second computer, formatted it the way it should be formatted and set up the partitions as they should be but Samsung won't allow, and lastly, plugged in Windows 10 in a USB drive to run the first part of the installation process. I was given the option to choose what version of Windows to install as it should always happen and once the first part of the installation process was complete and the setup rebooted the PC I shut it down, put the hard drive back in the laptop alongside the USB drive and let the setup finish. Then I fell asleep until the afternoon when I woke up and finished installing and setting up everything.
8:47 PM now and after three days battling this laptop, it is finally finished. Windows 10 is installed the way it should be, the backup is back in place and the device is ready to be taken back to its owner tomorrow morning. Jesus Christ, what a hurdle this one has been!
Don't buy laptops from Samsung, folks! Unless you want to give a headache to whoever will have to service it when it goes bad.

You know what? Screw Samsung laptops. Screw Windows 10. Screw Windows 10 on Samsung laptops! Windows 10 is an ok OS, but terrible to work with if you have to fix it.
One of my clients left his laptop installing updates but forgot to plug it in. The battery died mid-installation and it corrupted the system. Samsung littered the hard drive with recovery partitions and none were helpful. Samsung also hid away in the BIOS about ALL of the needed functions to boot up from DVD or USB, making me waste almost a whole day just to figure out how to boot with Hiren's Boot USB. Windows 10 itself has F8 on boot disabled by default, so load the Recovery Options and Safe Mode cannot be done from outside Windows itself, unless you shut down the system three times while it is booting, which in reality only makes matters worse. And then, when recovering the system was no longer a option and format to install all from scratch was the better choice and I finally managed to get into the Live Windows on Hiren's, I learned that Samsung limited what you can do to the partitions on the hard drive and made it impossible to delete and format them (the recovery partitions).
I had to boot into Linux to bypass the limitations and then I learned that even so, the MBR cannot be written due to some sort of hardware-level limitation Samsung somehow imposed on the device, which makes it impossible to mark the partition as active. The option then would be to use Windows 10's own setup to format, but that just re-creates all of those useless recovery partitions. >:C Not even the MBR rewritting tools I used could fix the MBR.
My next choice now is to plug this laptop's hard drive into my computer and format it there using my own hardware. In theory, that should bypass the hardware limitations (it's probably some code in the BIOS ROM) since there would be none so it should be possible to format it normally like any regular computer. Just gotta wait my boss' response on the idea and if given the green light to carry on with the idea, then hopefully it will work.
EDIT: Oh and get a load of this... Windows 10's setup did not offer me to select which version to install. It just went straight to Home Single Language and turns out that to get the hard drive out of the laptop I will have to open the whole bottom of the thing. >:[

I just ordered a GeForce 9500 GT online for my second computer. Why a 9500 GT, you ask? Simple, really! The GeForce 8600 GS it came with sucks too much, that computer is not used for gaming so a fancy/powerful card (like the one I spent over a thou$and on for my main rig) is not necessary and my budget is very limited. Though I don't game on it, that 8600 is just too crappy for me to handle. The HDMI port doesn't even support my HDMI to VGA adapter! Don't know if the 9500 will (I hope it will), but even if it doesn't I'll at least have a better card. And I can do some gaming on it if I want so it's kind of a win-win situation.
Next thing I want to upgrade on that PC is the processor because HOLY CHRIST! That AMD A4-4000 it came with is quite sluggish! It can barely handle TMP's live map! Lastly, more RAM. 4GB is ok for most of what I use that PC for but more RAM is definitely good to have.

Client needs to have a folder that is in their server mapped to their terminal computer but the PC needs permission in the server to access the folder. I set the permission 100% correctly so there is no reason for it to not work. PC still demands permission to access the folder.
WHAT THE BLUCK COMPUTER?!

I hear the cooling fans echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's logging in, 12:30 of the night
The moonlit screen reflect the stars that guide me towards restoration
I stopped to get a hard drive along the way
Hoping to find some long forgotten files or ancient documentsOne appeared to me with a title that said "Hurry boy, a CD is waiting there for you"
It's gonna take a lot to install this for you
There's not enough megs of RAM for this CPU
I bless the flops down in AfricaGonna take some time to install the things we never had
You guys are free to do the rest. XD
