Disclaimer: this reply is purely my opinion and not in any way linked to the moderation, management or potential outcome of this suggestion.

 

I personally do not see any use for this feature for Patrons. The extended developer camera is a tool exclusive to certain ranks within TruckersMP staff that require, or majorly benefit from having it. For example we all know that Game Moderators can use the dev cam to go anywhere on the map, and still see people load in like their vehicle is nearby. This is unexplainably useful for moderation - but would not serve any unique purpose for Patrons. As Patron is not something where extended developer camera specifically provides a benefit (unlike for Game Moderators where it does), I am saying -1 for this suggestion.

 

Extended developer camera is a tool, not a fancy feature.

TFM_Mikey has the TruckersFM role on the website. The colour is #00ff00

 

Aek177 is a Silver Patron. The colour is #C0C0C0

 

Bronze Patrons have no coloured name. That was a mistake in my request, you can ignore that one.

 

Additionally, there is also a Stream Moderation role on the forum. LaxZ has this role, and the colour is the same as other Community Moderators.

At the moment, this guide is outdated and various changes need making. Please update your guide to respect the following:

 

- "Developer" needs splitting into "Web Developer", "Game Developer" and "DevOps".

- "Community Manager" and "Senior Community Manager" still need removing the "Community Moderator" section.

- Patreon "Trucker" (Bronze) and "Fan" (Silver) also need adding to the "Patreon" section.

- "TruckersFM" role needs adding.

- "Support Trainee" needs adding in the "Support" section.

- "Game Moderator Trainers" needs correcting to "Game Moderator Trainer".

- "Service and Data Analst" needs correcting to "Service and Data Analyst". This role also needs adding to the "Upper Staff" category.

- "Project Coodinator" needs correcting to "Project Coordinator".

[Event Team Recruitment (22/02/2021 - 08/03/2021)]

Event Team Recruitment

 

From the 22nd February until the 8th March, we are going to be looking for individuals to join our Event Team.

 

The Event Team is responsible for the planning and execution of official events within the TruckersMP community.

 

We are currently seeking new members to volunteer each month to help us manage events, as convoy control or general assistants. Your main focus will be managing the Public Convoy, which takes place every month at 17:00 UTC on either Saturday or Sunday. You will be expected to assist with managing other events, too, such as the Real Ops events, TruckersFM partner events, the Nut House Convoy for Twitch streamer Squirrel, and more.

 

Core Requirements:

 

• Be punctual.
• Have strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Fluently speak English.
• Have a working, clear microphone.
• Be 16 years of age or older.
• Have had no punishments in the past 12 months.
• Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months.
• Be a member of TruckersMP for at least 12 months.
• Be registered on the TruckersMP forum for at least 6 months.
• Have some decent forum activity.
• Have at least some mentionable experience in convoy control.
• Have both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2.

 

Benefits when considering candidates:

 

• Solid experience in convoy control.
• Map expansions.

 

As an Event Team member you will:

 

• Volunteer each month to help us manage events, as convoy control or general assistants.
