  8. I think we are all on the same page here. But, as you said, there are probably some people abusing the system and spamming. That said, if we have clear rules about what can be reported or not we should be able to have very clear outcome on the reports: Valid report > punishment given to the reported Unjustified report > warning or punishment given to reporter depending on history of unjustified reports To me that's much more fair than limiting/refraining everyone from submitting as many reports as before. But we actually already had (and have) this system active with reporters getting their number of report slots reduced each time they have their report rejected. Seems like it wasn't enough to remove the bad reports?! How? I don't know? But my guess is that most of the reports were/are actually valid! And we have simply implemented these limitations to reduce the load on the report moderation team so that they can focus more on in-game moderation. I'm still waiting for the improvements following this strategy. i.e. my in-game reports are still timing out.

  20. I agree that insults are unnecessary and unrewarding. But let's not forget that the TruckersMP team tolerates certain insults in their rules. This enables the start of an argument. Your call to enjoy the simulation game instead of getting upset after an unintentionally caused incident disregards that the vicitim's game experience was negatively influenced. They have the right to be upset, and, depending on the situation, can take appropriate actions, for example, create a report.

  21. Hey, You can use Simulation 2 or Arcade if you wish to drive at a faster speed. Simulation 1 has a 110km/h speed limit as it is our core simulation server. The above servers are available if you want to drive faster.

  24. They won't set the limit, because they believe their players are all sensible. There used to be certain save editing rules that they got rid off, but nothing stops you from going nuts with lights and strobes now. If someone protests and reports you, they will probably tell them to upgrade their hardware, who cares the game is absolutely not optimized for large number of players witth trucks covered by lights. Those lights alone affect performance, if I can eliminate uneccessary sources of light which I absolutely don't need to see, give me that option, if possible. If not, than we can talk about rules. The last bit will only be possible if SCS adds keybinds for those functions. Provided it would work in TMP as reliably as EBS and adaptive CC, which I hear are now completely busted after latest game update. Then TMP would have to force to enable the setting, which they are not very likely to do. What I wanted to hear form TMP is if this suggestion is technically feasible in the first place, but as you can see it's been almost year and a half without response.

  27. Thanks for the information. Here are some random questions that came to mind. What aspects of truck simulation do you find most engaging? What features or improvements would enhance your gaming experience? On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the realism of the multiplayer? What types of cargo or missions would you like to see added to the game? Do you use mods or user-created content to enhance your game experience? If so, which types of mods are your favorite? Would you like to see more official support for modding and user-created content within the game? How important is the ability to customize and personalize your vehicles in the game? Would you like to see realistic trucking challenges or regulations (e.g., rest periods, weight limits) incorporated into the game? How important is it for you that the game accurately reflects real-world trucking regulations? Would you prefer an option to adjust the level of regulation enforcement in the game to suit your playstyle? How important is it for you to adapt to different sets of regulations when traveling through different regions within the game?

  28. Considering you have never reported anyone for 2.1, this is why you have never seen that. There always is a point in making suggestions officially through that category. We are currently working on an improved internal procedure to review the suggestions we receive across all of the platforms, which will improve the waiting time as well as ensure each suggestion gets reviewed properly by several departments instead of one (or none considering we got some from 2015 ). We are always open to answer questions, as long as the questions are asked in an appropriate manner. I am not a fan of conversations where I have to think how to word everything I write, so that it does not get twisted against me or the team. Some people can't stop, even when they get answers to their questions, simply because they wanted an answer that would match with their opinion If you are not interested in engaging in a conversation I would suggest stop with these provoking messages, we both know it won't get anywhere. If you wanted to laugh at their message, you could always use "haha" reaction.

  33. Suggestion Name: More speed limiter options in the settings Suggestion Description: We all know there is the option to enable/disable the 90km/h (ETS2), 65 MPH (ATS) limiter in the TruckersMP settings, this would be to add a drop down list to select some more options for speed. For ETS2, the options could (for example) be 80km/h, 85km/h, 90km/h, 100km/h, 110km/h. For ATS, the options could be for example 60mph, 62mph (this is a common speed for some of the biggest trucking companies in the US), 65mph, 70mph, 72mph, 75mph, 80mph. Any example images: Why should it be added?: This would be useful both for people who would prefer a lower/higher limiter, or when the alternating vehicles are a type of vehicle that would have a different limiter (e.g. buses, as we have seen a few times now!). Also, this would not affect the overall maximum speed limiter of 110km/h (ETS2), 80mph (ATS), and of course shouldn't affect World of Trucks jobs.
