iBruno Posted October 3, 2019 Report Posted October 3, 2019 I like more the manual sequential one, I enjoy it more than the automatic transmission, feels more realistic.
Brenbear87 Posted October 3, 2019 Report Posted October 3, 2019 I have a wheel so I use both it just depends how I'm feeling to be honest.
ZakYeen Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 I use the Range Shifting Mechanism as I have a G25 with the shifter! Hoping to get a SKRS by Christmas to take the simulation to the next level!
[Ayaz Team] Oğuzhan [24] Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 I often find manual gear more advantageous on steep ramps and initial departures. That's why I always prefer manual gear
DentalStone Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 For me, not having a wheel means that full manual is not possible. I still like to have a sequential setup with my Xbox Controller, but i also have a button mapped to switch from automatic to manual shifting. It's honestly great having a choice between the two. (You can use manual for accelerating as fast as possible, and then switch to automatic to make life a bit easier should you have to come to a stop from 110 kmh ) It may kill the realism a tad, but it's great for the dynamic world of TMP.
Fr0zR.- Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 I use manual H shifter (12 gears + 2 reverse) in ETS, and same at ATS but using 18 gearbox. But I always add an extra dead zone in my clutch pedal. it feels more realistic when you are changing gears
Ertuğrul IYI Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 i'm using the keyboard so i'm using the automatic gear VOLVO ♥
Mystere Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 i'm using manual in H (divider + clutch)
Guest Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 I use real automatic however if I did have an option I probably switch gears too cuz in game it's definitely funner
ATEKGaming Posted October 19, 2019 Report Posted October 19, 2019 When I first got my steering wheel, I was doing manual gears but I found it hard to find the correct speed to change the gear at so I always ended up stalling my truck. Now - I just tend to do automatic gears as it's easier for me and once I get a car IRL, I can stick to automatic. :).
TTwerty Posted October 19, 2019 Report Posted October 19, 2019 Always using real automatic because I think the game else gets too hectic I prefer to play this game as relaxed as possible
Dunkstormen Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 I use manual gears in a range setting. Simply because automatic gets boring really fast for me. Always having to think about my gears adds another challenge instead of just having to push the pedal to the metal all the time Just another guy hauling on the roads of TMP
AshlynsGaming Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 I'd say Manual H shiftier/clutch. I love being able to brake faster and not having to put my foot on the gas every 3 seconds to catch up in my lane Stay happy and safe
Mr.Finn Posted October 27, 2019 Report Posted October 27, 2019 I have manual H shiffter. But in trucks I only use 6 gears.
Fezz Posted October 27, 2019 Report Posted October 27, 2019 I always use Manual, it's much better for control up hills and such, having a H-shifter makes it easy!
Positivetrucking168 Posted October 27, 2019 Report Posted October 27, 2019 I tend to play with automatic gears because of the fact that it's easy to regain the pace again in high-population places without having to constantly change gears yourself everytime, and also because I am a keyboard player which doesn't make the use of manual gears too friendly anyway.
TheDarkAngel7 Posted October 27, 2019 Report Posted October 27, 2019 Manual gears for me, even though I use a keyboard... far left finger is on both the left shift key and the left control key. Left shift is up, Left Control is down. ~ TheDarkAngel7 ~
MaximumVirusCH Posted October 27, 2019 Report Posted October 27, 2019 I dont drive with automatic so i drive with H-Shifter so i can better driving with that
