Killua // Ireland ^_^ Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 The car adds to the realism, even hen you are driving your truck doing a job its great to come across cars Also if you just want to explore the map, I've only explored about 55% of the map so it will be great to explore more of the map in the car and go further into Europe, maybe buy more garages and get more familiar with the roads before going on jobs. I was working on "Vanguard Professional Pilot Car Service" concept after I bought my first Scout in ATS. I was going to offer pilot service to lone drivers or convoys. The cars also adds more variation, i got bored from mp just because there were only trucks. But now there are cars, thats very cool. It doesn't matter if you don't like a car. You can always go back to your good old truck and do jobs. It's a simulation game, not real life. Remember that. Euro Truck Simulator + Euro Car Simulator = Euro Caruck Simulator 2. locomoco Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Kind of pointless and boring driving the cars, I quite enjoyed being a pilot but there seems to be some loosely written rules with it, I was driving around with the pilot car looking for pulled over trucks or trucks stuck who need help (adds to realism) but with the trigger happy admins of this game, I dare not do it again as it seems to amuse them to ban people quickly for the smallest of reasons, it is rare to be able to use them in a convoy. I've seen trucks stop on a some faster than most cars But I like the car, it's kinda sad that I can't take my car to ep to idle and record but the logic behind it is solid. Also driving a car home is realistic unless you're a freelancer then it's not. Sunday car divers drove like idiots, yesterday I've seen more truckers driving like idiots (not including cars going down Ep, watched one reverse out of ep with fatal there, have everyone a good laugh lol), including one running a red which I figured they would and drove slowly if I drove fast I would of been t-boned... The first day I think everyone was shocked about the speed and bad brakes, the second day everyone is getting used to it.
