    I had the same problem, with me, if I just restarted the game it would fix itself and since it has stopped. Not a very helpful response, I know but just letting you know you're not alone

      I guess that the people you follow on the forum will now be shown on the ingame map, I don't know any other solution for it...

      Maybe the Steam friends still show up in game though!

      I'm assuming steam friends will still show up as green because your steam avatar is still the in game avatar :) this was just a minute ago ;)

      It depends on the urgency and need is being renewed and looking for new members for support and moderator, surely close the moderator before because they need it as soon as possible.
      That depends on many factors.

    I had the high ping problem. I discovered it was down to someone having Dropbox or Onedrive open, after closing those the problem was resolved. Check if anyone in your household is running something like that.
