  1. Welcome back Lorena, I was expecting a comeback to happen, good to see you here ready to rock and roll again.

  2. The simple answer is no, you need to have a 64-bit version of Windows in order to play TruckersMP. You can however play ETS2 single player using a 32-bit operating system.
  3. Welcome back Derpatrick!

  4. Here is a picture of my truck and excavator trailer combo while I loaded up at the Kalmar quarry, with the camera pointing towards the quarry itself:

But the fun to be had from taking pictures soon ended and I had to F7 as I got stuck the minute after I took this photo.

  6. Hello everyone,

I would like to say thank you to all both on the forums and on Discord for all the congratulations, it makes me feel that I have been welcomed in the team.

I would also like to thank everyone who has been supporting me since November 2015 in my goal to become a forum moderator, it has taken a lot of effort to come this far.

Congrats on the role and everything, but this is just notneeded. Just because you have a position, there's no need to change the way you are and the way you conduct yourself. It's just annoying to see people join the team and completely change.

I get what you are saying to some point as there are some things that may slightly change, but I don't want to completely change my tune as a member in the team as this goes against what I think of joining the team in the first place.

Well all the best goes to you. Who knows one day you may be a game moderator.

  7. Congratulations on your promotion to support manager, you have been working hard for close to a year as a seasoned support team member, so keep going, you deserve it!

Thank you very much, i highly appreciate those kind words ;)

  8. I decided to update my "About Me" page on my profile as my old description from 2015 was full of clutter and some of what I have written there is not relevant at all, so I just wanted to make the page brief and to the point and look professional too.

    Enjoy the updated look!

  9. Congratulations on your CM promotion, that was well deserved considering that you have very quickly managed to become a well respected member of TMP staff and you have made yourself well known in the community right from the moment you became a Trial Game Moderator in September 2017.

  10. The road out of Duisburg is so badly backed up right up to the NBFC with almost 200 people in the city, one of the highest player numbers a city in ETS2MP has ever experienced, rivalling the 210 players in Calais that it had seen on March the 17th. All depots and services are also running at over double the capacity it can handle which is compounding the problem and the service station is packed at triple the capacity.

Players with high-end PCs are seeing their frame rates drop down to 12FPS and those on integrated graphics are getting something like 2FPS.

Do not go to Duisburg at this time unless you can bear with the serious amounts of lag.

  11. Today I have done two trailer journeys - the first one went from Hamburg to Cardiff via EP and I had a smooth drive there, but there were a lot of crashes on the motorway, including two trucks flipped over on the side of the A1 between Hamburg and Bremen just outside the service station.

The next trailer I took went from Dover to Poznan and I was routed along Death Road, all the while playing a Doom Radio podcast in the background relating to Plutonia Revisited (PRCP). Didn't witness too many crashes, but I did run into BackerParker who was filming some snaps for an "ETS2 Funny Moments" clip when I got stuck in traffic at the Brussels junction.

The rest of the way was relatively problem-free although I ran into three traffic blockages along the way, two eventually solved themselves but the third one involved a driver who was a victim of an earlier crash but refused to move afterwards and was blocking for roughly five minutes.

Then I ran into a really big traffic queue getting closer towards the Duisburg junction, but soon after I turned left and got to the A1 motorway, the first minute of my time on the outside was spent turning off onto the A2 motorway, running past Hannover and Magdeburg along the way. Unbeknownst to me, the Doom Radio podcast suddenly appeared on my video recording when I got onto the A1 motorway on the moment when the podcast guests were talking about playtesting maps.

When I arrived in Poznan, I was greeted with some hostile talk just as I was pulling in to unload, and as I got to the tollbooth a few minutes prior I was met with someone who had a potentially offensive tag (going to file a report tomorrow on the whole situation that I was met with). I have video footage and I was going to do a timelapse of the whole trip I made, but because of the extreme levels of hostility at the end of the trip and an offensive tag, I had to bin any possibilities of making a YouTube video.

A very explosive end to a good day, basically.

  12. +1 That's a good idea, change another person's name or tag that might be inappropriate in order to serve a warning to the user. If the user then changes their tag back to what it was then the game mod can give out the "change your tag" ban afterwards. It's also good news for those whose inappropriate usernames might be part of an out-of-remit pattern, they forget to change it and the game mod steps in to change their name on-the-spot rather than ban the user. This will also mean that permanent bans will almost always be devoted to excessive save editing bans and history bans.
  13. I decided to do something different today by listening to some podcast interviews relating to some well-known figures in the Doom community while driving across the ETS2 map, it's helped me stay awake and motivated as 1993 Doom is a game that I have always enjoyed playing and I would like to hear what prominent members there have got to say about what they have developed in terms of modifications, soundtracks for custom WADs and more.

If you don't know what I am talking about, here is the link to Doom Radio, the site that hosts those interviews among other things they do and you can download the podcasts as MP3s without viruses:

    http://doomradio.org/series/tango-tv-interviews/

The station operates completely differently from stations like TFM as the station isn't live and does not broadcast music.

  14. At the time you joined the TruckersMP team as a Support Team Member, you have very quickly turned your character around from an ordinary person who had a checkered past to become a efficient multi-lingual support communicator in Spanish as well as in Portuguese. You have helped a lot of people in the Help section of the forums based all around the world, but you have also become one of many influential persons within the Latin American TMP community. In addition, people on the Calais-Duisburg road have noticed you very well as a high-profile person and that popularity has increased in your time as a Game Moderator and in Staff and Public Convoys.

Then you moved to the Forum Moderator team a few weeks before you became a GM and you have applied some of your key skills from Support Team which has helped you flourish in that team.

We hope to see you back soon.

RIP Duisburg-Calais road, there is probably going to be a lot less chaos in Duisburg when all this gets restructured.

And going through some 1993 Doom at this moment in time.

I wouldn’t unfortunately count on this as the chances are it won’t happen. If it does happen, the CD road may not be the CD road anymore but another road will be come the popular one. The CD road became CD road after EP died

    2. ScaniaFan89

      ScaniaFan89

It only became popular from a TFM announcement, either it will go back to the EP or France....i can't see people driving to italy just to cause chaos its too far as is scandinavia though it briefly happened with double trailers....having said that its more likely to move to north east germany & up into the baltics! I would guess a lot of russians would migrate to st petersberg briefly & expect a few convoys around it

Either way there is still going to be an EP or a CD road somewhere in the community

  16. NVIDIA appears to have launched a 3GB GTX 1050 just yesterday with properties that are amazingly crafted to deter the miners from buying the card and is located right in the middle of the two existing 1050 GPUs, but still the GPU will be a slightly faster choice compared to the existing 2GB 1050.

Hopefully gamers will start catching the graphics card's selling points soon enough to be able to buy them.

  17. Today I am anticipating EU2 to be running under full load for 14 hours, EU3 for 9.5 hours and EU1 for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, which if I am not mistaken it might be the longest period in the history of the EU2 and EU3 servers of TruckersMP that a server was running at capacity.

  18. The Royal Wedding is currently ongoing as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting married in Windsor and have just plead their vows.

Meghan is set to become a member of the British Royal Family with this event and from everyone at TruckersMP we are paying respects in light of this very important event.

  19. Going East! appears to be busier than usual today averaging about 8 - 10 trucks per city, compared to the average 3 trucks on a peak hour, possibly an all-time record for the average player numbers for the DLC pack.

A dramatic change for normally a really quiet region of the map, and I am expecting Going East! to get busy when Beyond the Baltic Sea comes out as people will be passing through Going East! to get to the Baltic states up north.

  20. That update to support 1.31 was so quick, I wasn't expecting 0.2.2.4.0 to come out until the weekend due to the size of SCS's 1.31 update. Hope people will enjoy a groundbreaking SCS update.
  21. Trucking Diaries from 13th May 2018

Today I had a marathon 2300km ride across the ETS2 map in the new Scania S.

It began in Stavanger where I met the WTLVTC guys the other day, left the garage and picked up a 3t trailer of flower pots from the IKA going to Paris. I then quickly hopped on the ferry to Hirtshals and started making my way down south on the E39 and the E45 past Aalborg, before going onto the A1 motorway at Hamburg.

I stopped off for fuel just before Duisburg, the last stint of freedom as I was going to go on C-D road very soon. After I refuelled, I got onto Death Road this time going westbound, and I got rammed by a car, fortunately I didn't take damage and I quickly regained control of the vehicle before more vehicles could pile on. This almost followed by a red Scania who was blocking for three minutes and one of the drivers who tried to go around caused a crash with a truck going the other way. Once the road cleared, there were no crashes (except for one person who tried to overtake me, ran into an oncoming truck and ended up crashing his vehicle) until I got to the Belgium/Netherlands border, crossing paths with Forum Moderator @Lukavsky TMP along the way.

I kept on going, seeing almost no crashes but met a slow heavy cargo driver which actually gave me a respite from the fast overtaking seen on the road. Kept on going right up to the border, only one crash, but had to yield to someone who wanted to rejoin the road, and someone overtook me right in the path of an oncoming truck.

The rest of the way passed off without any problems and I turned off onto the A16 highway, and once I passed the Calais junction, I stepped foot into the outside world once again for the final 220km to Paris on the motorway. Once I got to the tollbooth, a truck without a trailer ended up going into the lane I was in (which was a 30km/h lane), slowing him down massively.

Soon enough, reaching Poissy, I was met with a hostile situation, as drivers were horn spamming and crashing into oncoming traffic due to someone blocking the entrance to the player's garage for four minutes. And once that cleared, someone else tried to block as well but another truck without a trailer and a car tried to nudge me out of the way as the black truck drove on. Soon enough, I reached the Lisette entrance which had some overcrowding, but the unload was straightforward.

The next load to Stuttgart was much smoother, it was the first time in 30 minutes that I felt I could take a trailer with ease. Once I unloaded in Stuttgart, I decided to fast travel back to Stavanger to complete the day.

  22. Today I have spotted two TruckersMP staff members in Stavanger on Cam 0, who are senior members of WTLVTC which houses many other TMP staff members - Event Team member @[WTLVTC - Owner] Senka and Trial Game Moderator @[WTLVTC-Manager] Pragaras. It's great to see some fairly high-profile members of the TMP community as well as the VTC community in a place other than the Duisburg-Calais road.

Oh, and by the way I spotted @[ NOG ] Baldemar95 leading a Turkish convoy that was headed to my home base of Kalmar that I left just a few minutes before when I was on a job going to Stavanger in the new Scania truck.

Thanks for the kind words :D Should have joined us!

  23. OK, thanks for that, your reply is concise and cuts straight to the point about what might happen in this situation. Therefore I am satisfied with your response and I am fully understanding of this, so unless a forum mod wants to reply to this question, I am considering this case to be solved.
