I just found out about this. If you somehow got disconnected, you can rejoin the TruckersMP server without having to restart ETS2.

To do this, click exit then profiles. You will then be prompted to log into TMP. Once you log in, load up the game and you should be connected again.

WINTER MOD UPDATE:

We are aware of concerns and questions relating to the support of the winter mod this year. We hear you, and want to update you as to the situation and address questions.

In order to support the winter modification, we need SCS Software to release the 1.36 version of ETS2. After that, the winter mod creator and TruckersMP developers both need to get their modifications compatible with version 1.36 of ETS2.

Once this all happened, we can look into supporting the winter mod in TruckersMP. We are only too aware of the attraction and appeal that the winter mod brings, and like you, we are also wanting this. Further updates will follow, and we thank you for your patience.

Waiting for the TruckersMP update, while exploring Washington in singleplayer, I just had this random encounter, and I am sure it was not one of those random events/detours:

My First Journey Into Washington

Truck: Kenworth T680 450HP

Start: Newport, Oregon

Destination: Port Angeles, Washington

Distance: 305 mi/490 km

Load: Empty Pallets

Leaving Newport I encoutered a small bit of fog

Nothing but clear roads ahead

About to cross the bridge into Astoria, Oregon

I had to turn around a bit further down as I was in the wrong lane

The event was awesome, even if we've had some connection issues at the start, the event was, I think, a large success.

Whats up with the real ops server?? Everything was fine until now this happens every time I try to join

Is there currently a problem with the event server? I get kicked there for high (600ms+) ping but I have a ping of 30-40ms on EU2

I like how people start sliding around with the new snow mod, now it kinda looks like a real sim 

frosty physics is too realistic and dangerous. 

Just done a 2,000 mile trip from France to southern Finland via Russia and MY GOD ISNT BALTIC BEAUTIFUL.
