    Here to ruin your day, its related to syncroless-gearbox shifting, Not an double-clutch-gearbox where it "seamlessy" changes gears. Doubleclutching when commanding an Eaton Fuller (namely, hardly anyone else anymore has the best type of gearbox) means that when you upshifting, you clutch into neutral, release clutch, and clutch into next gear. Because you need to wait the for the input shaft to slow down so that it matches the speed of the next gear, Without grinding, as you would if you'd shift directly from gear to gear. Reason for this is, that there is no syncon rings infront of the actual gears, that would match the speed of the gear, and the input shaft. Also reason why its pretty much the fastest manual transmission there is for trucks. (read: Not those damn pickups!)

    @Vindictive Its in the Controller options where you change between transmission modes. I'v yet to test the actual difference between these modes, But logically Power will shift late on the powerband (1500-2000) instead of on torque (1100-1500) Eco probably tries to shift economically, Dont know does it do stuff like Volvo's iShift that it shifts the transmission in neutral to roll down hills etc.. But since these are in the Adaptive Transmission section, it means the throttle pedal position matters, In other words: No effect for those who use keyboard or mouse, Using cruisecontrol to drive might have an effect

    Bootcamping to Windows operating system is probably the only way. I have no experience about the Apple's vaque method of virtual machines. Another possibility is wine or mono, Considering OSX is distant cousin of debian.

    Go grab a trailer DLC from SCS' blog.. Theres like 30k keys,  be quick. Just need to have 50 hours of ETS2 in record

    Do you have drivers? Time skips couple weeks forwards easily if you havent played multiplayer for while. It could've been your drivers making money in that time, or well.. the game simulated as if the drivers made you money during that time period from X to Y. First time i loaded MP in ATS my slaves minions had been busy making me 16 million dollars. Time skipped about 3 weeks forwards

    Allowing any mods to MP isnt going to happen in anytime soon, if ever. Reason being that each one of mods brings more load to the servers and also how you would sync it with every other player who doesnt have the same mod installed?. Dont get your hopes up to seeing your favourite mods seeing light in the TruckersMP. Rule of thumb: Is it it included in the game, or in its files? No > Wont work, wont be allowed in Online. Yes: Through magics and modifying game files, you MIGHT be able to use it in MP (See: hybrid trucks, economy edits so that only 1 type of trailer spawns)

    Since ATS does not have much in terms of addon lights.. We aint gonna see those bloody awful walls of light.. But we are going to see ugly trucks filled with chrome everywhere as possible in most untasty way

      not really, the tunig options in ATS are mirrors, exhausts, wheels, tyres and side skirts

    Why do people put hazzards on when they are reversing into a dock? I dont get it.. You are not obstructing anybody or you arent in public place where some granny might walk under your trailer. it drives me nuts

      I work in retail at the moment, and see trucks rocking up all the time and they always have their Hazards on when reversing :P

      I used to work in a hotel, and the trucks there always had their hazard lights on when reversing, even when the area was clear and only I was watching, it never occurred to me as being "wrong" in some way. You should complain about beacons flashing without trailers :P That's more annoying

    Playstv is horrible. The main client and editor side doesnt work at all.. And it seems to record every possible sound source.. even stereo mix -__-. Yay for reverb effect

      The lack of settings is what killed it for me..

      Its clearly been made with target users of the people who has thumb in middle of their palm and just want to record quick and dump it somewhere..

      No you have to be in Day Mode gear (D) then to make it go faster you put it into Race Mode gear ® and you get a boost. Be warned do NOT put it in Night Mode Gear (N) It won't work all cars are sold with a broken Night Mode gear.

      Theres no Day mode! Theres only four numbers and then 2 switches that make the numbers change and alternatve between Lo and Hi

    Selected to download winter_mod.scs from the installer when updated to version 1.12... Go ingame and see no snow anywhere. Is there some activation supposed to be done? the .scs file is at ~\Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer\data\mods.
