Greetings truckers, it’s time for some egg-citing news! The TruckersMP yearly Easter Egg Hunt is back, and this time with some egg-cellent new additions that will be sure to scramble your heads. Last year, the community came together to help Haulie track down the missing Easter eggs they ordered and we were egg-static to see they found all of them! This year, we have heard some disturbing news from our partners instead - sneaky bunnies have been playing practical yolks, and trying to poach their eggs and whisk them away! Drivers have been absolutely terri-fryed, some even becoming shell-shocked, cracking under the stress and refusing to keep hauling! Remember: this is no yolking matter! The situation is getting dire with the eggs running the risk of going rotten. So, we need your help to find and locate them, before these egg-o-maniac bunnies take them away! Do you think you’re cracked up to it? The mission is simple! Our partners have informed us of the general area where the bunnies have been operating. The eggs are still located there and some of their missing trailers too! There are 6 eggs to be found: the violet, green, blue, yellow, orange and red eggs. Besides that, there are also three partner trailers that need to be found from ProMods, TruckersFM and DBus. Drivers will be with each of them, however some will be rolling around! DLC Required: None! How to play! 6 eggs and 3 partner trailers are stuck in Central Europe. Finding them is essential! If you are one of the top three players to find all 6 eggs AND 1 partner trailer the fastest, you will win a special prize! The eggs and partner trailers are represented by our Event team, with their player tag matching the colour of the egg they are hauling, e.g. 'Yellow Egg!', or a White coloured tag if they are hauling a partner trailer, e.g. ‘ProMods Trailer’ They will not appear on the tab menu nor the TruckersMP Map, so your only way to find them is by being vigilant, and looking out for them on your GPS! How does it work? Launch TruckersMP, select Euro Truck Simulator 2 and connect to the Easter Egg Hunt 2024 server. Prepare for the start at 15:00 UTC Click here for more time zones. and be aware that player collisions will be disabled. Meetup with your fellow egg-hunters in any city listed on the play area. Any company yard is fine. Leave your trailers in your garage, as you won't be needing them. Remember: speed is key! You will have four hours, from 15:00 UTC - 19:00 UTC, to make your journey throughout Central Europe. The decision of which road to take is up to you. Garage travelling is permitted. When you have found an egg or a partner trailer, toggle your tab menu ON. Then take a screenshot by pressing F12, to prove you found it. You must be able to see the egg or partner trailer, as well as your tab menu in order to fully complete the find. When you have found all six eggs AND at least one partner trailer, you are eligible to submit your entry into the competition by completing our form. Prizes! Following your hard efforts hunting down the eggs, here’s what is up for grabs: Winner (first to find all the eggs and submit) - €25 Steam Gift Card 1st runner-up (second to find all the eggs and submit) - €15 Steam Gift Card 2nd runner-up (third to find all the eggs and submit) - €10 Steam Gift Card Digital gift cards will automatically convert to your local currency. Hey, SCS has indeed announced that areas closer to Duisburg and the CD road are being revamped. If SCS removes these parts of the CD road, then that's how it is. Our map edits in the area are meant to facilitate the current amount of traffic. If there are changes, we will first adopt SCS's new version and then evaluate whether map edits are needed. Please also keep in mind that only a very small part of the CD road is actually in Germany. We will see how SCS Software handles the rework of the area. Thanks for the question!

CD Road isn't a simulation. Traffic Jams & Vehicle E-Sports isn't a simulation. Can the server be returned to what a simulation is? Enforced speed limits on every road. Using the city script, but applying it map wide. A better punishment system like IRL has. Increased fines, license suspensions. Applying a ban duration only keeps the server safer from 1 player. Doesn't deter anything. Deterring bad driving behaviors. Yes, it's a game. Still, you don't drive like this with your IRL vehicles.

Unfortunate, that American Truck Simulator was n-egg-lected.

Hey Rebel, Thank you for asking this question. I have asked the entire CM team to give me the 3 goals that they had for the community when joining: xBestBBx Clear the suggestion backlog. Unfortunately it has not been kept up with over the years. We have combed through nearly 100% of them now. Look into what we can do with the CC program, which I am in the process of doing. Get our Twitch channel back up and active. That is also being actively looked into Vicc Establishing a baseline of quality for posts on social media or Discord, streamlining the process and improving engagement. Continuing and creating various projects to improve community interaction/aspects of the community. Review and improve the VTC Validation/Verified programs + Community Contributor program. Purrie I did not have 3 specific goals that I wished to achieve before starting in the CM role. In any organisation things can be improved at all times over the whole organisation. And sometimes things you would want to improve can't due to various circumstances, so we should focus as whole organization on the things that can be improved in the foreseeable future and just always do our best for the community we serve. If I would have to name 1 thing I would like to see changed is that the times it's day and night shift each day a bit so if you only have time to drive in the evenings you do not always only have to drive in the dark but also have dawn, dusk and daytime. Rider Bring back Hot Topic and improve it. Listen to the community and use that feedback/opinion/comment to improve. Fix the bond between CMs and the community. Overall, we want to help and improve on anything that is needed. We are dedicated individuals who work as a team to improve TruckersMP every day or try to. We strive to create a healthy environment for TruckersMP and hopefully, can continue doing that.

As anyone who's been in a populated area knows, VTC advertisements run rampant. And they involve adding someone on Discord. All it's really doing is just spamming the chat. Can the overtaking criteria for a populated area be applied to VTC advertisements? They can't do it when the players nearby exceeds a number.

In general, it is not your fault if another player rear-ends you. In most cases, a rear-end collision is caused by a lack of safety distance, distracted driving, or a combination of the above. As a rule of thumb, the safety distance should be at least half of the driving speed in meters. For example, if one drives at a speed of 100 km/h, the minimum safety distance should be 100 / 2 = 50 meters. Another way to keep your safety distance is the three-second rule. The three-second rule is a rule of thumb stating that you should keep a timely distance of three seconds to a preceding vehicle. In the field that means if a preceding vehicle passes e.g. a traffic sign, a tree or any other fix marker you should pass that spot three seconds later. So when the preceding vehicle passes the spot, just slowly start to count 1,000...2,000...3,000. If you arrive earlier than three seconds, increase your safety distance.

I would looooooove to see the AI traffic finally working correctly in roundabouts! I'm fed up to be get hit by AI traffic not seeing me on the roundabout and entering the roundabout anyway!

The presence on Promods servers will always be reduced as not every GM actually has every map DLC and thus wouldn't be able to enter the server to moderate.
