  4. Cant really tell you about the process. As i dont know what questions you will be asked and what happens during training is that you get trained to be a moderator. Is it difficult? It can be. And we do quite a lot of reports, which is a lot of the work we do. Cant really tell you what a typical day looks like as there isent really one. Its not like when you show up to work in the morning and you do the same job every day. Some days you might not do anything as you have other real life things to do. And other days you do a lot of moderator work. There is no typical day. Being a moderator is not the glamorous thing some people think it is. Sure you get access to the police car but you dont really drive around in that a lot. And you really should not want to become a moderator because of the police car. And does it make it all more fun? Sometimes but i wouldent say it elevates Truckers MP to be super funny and much better than if you are just a normal player, as it is a lot of work and when driving in game you are always a moderator. And so yes you can just go driving like anyone else, but if something happens near you, you have to act on it. And so its never just a drive, there is always stuff to do.

  6. Suggestion Name: Show supported version number if installed version is unsupported Suggestion Description: Currently, you have to look up the supported version on an extra tab in the new launcher. Many people don't know that you can find it there. Maybe it could be helpful that when you see the hint "Unsupported Version installed", the supported version also appears. Any example images: Before vs. After: https://imgur.com/a/r2jpEE2 Why should it be added?: As you can see on Discord, for example, many people are confused that they can't launch TruckersMP anymore and ask why that is. Maybe as a workaround you can also give a hint that SCS has released a new update so that people are not confused anymore.

  23. Hello poopingcorn, I just want to answer your two questions that you have also a view from another Game Moderator . Of course, it can sometimes be quite stressful and a lot of work at once. It is, as @MrSirViking said, not only just driving the police car, there is a lot more work behind it. We deal with website and in-game reports and helping to keep the roads safe for everyone. For me, there is also no typical day. It can be that you have more to do and many people break rules at the same time. But there are also days when you go on a relaxed tour with friends or take part in an event. Every day is different. Personally, I have a lot of fun helping other players and doing my tasks. It is a diverse position. As already mentioned, it can also be stressful from time to time. I hope I could help you with my answer and good luck with your application! Kind regards, FastTV TruckersMP Game Moderator

  25. Testing 1.47 on TruckersMP is in progress | New MAN TGX From several hours you can spot the staff on the online players map on the "Unknown server". It is easy to judge that they are using the new version because the online map has not yet been updated. SCS asked: "New MAN when?!" https://twitter.com/SCSsoftware/status/1646564231934820355 I answer: In my opinion in coming week with dedicated presentation in Twitch live-stream. It seems that this is the depot:

  35. TruckersMP Image Size Guide I find myself being consistently asked about what sizes are best for different banners, etc. So I thought that I'd put together an easy to use guide which contains the most commonly asked sizes for banners. All sizes are in pixels. This guide is open to contributions, if you have a suggestion, feel free to send me a message on discord, here. - Event Request Banner (1920x350) The Event Request banner is a commonly asked question. It's an important part to an Event Request page which is visible to any visitor of the events calendar. It's important to remember the fact that the image is slightly cropped, so logo and/or text placement is important. - VTC Page Banner (1920x350) The VTC Page Banner is a great way to display the identity of your VTC, including a lovely photo of your truck, maybe your name and slogan, yet it's again a commonly asked question with regards to sizing. It's important to remember the fact that the image is slightly cropped, so logo and/or text placement is important. - Forum Profile Banner (1920x200) One of the most common of the lot, the forum profile banner. The size of the banner element is 200px in height, however you can make your banner slightly bigger and fit it to size with the build in cropping tool. It's important to remember the fact that the image is slightly cropped, so logo and/or text placement is important. - Other Useful Information Due to file size restrictions, it's recommended to upload your files in a .jpg format so the website will accept it. I'd recommend a website profile picture to be no smaller than 400x400 but remember that images are resized to 120x120 Thanks for reading the guide, I hope that it helped you in some way. If you have suggestions or additions, you can message me on Discord, here.

  40. It has been interesting reading different opinions of the new direction TruckersMP has taken. As many have pointed, it is clear many did not take part in the survey however, based on the responses received, the management of TruckersMP have made the decision to implement the result of the survey. It is sad to see people making statements like "it is a shame TruckersMP has made these changes". I would like to remind you that this survey was created, compiled, reviewed and results agreed on by a team of people who are not paid to do this job. From their real life spare time, they have spent hours to listen to the community and effect the changes as received from the survey. You are entitled to your opinions but whilst giving your opinion at least show some respect to these amazing gentlemen and women who put in their time and effort to produce such a detailed report. Most of them don't have the luxury of spare time to play games like you do because they are dedicated to create a platform that meets the needs of different people. Please note that although this is a simulation game which is expected to be played as one, SCS the makers did not limit the speed of trucks to 90km/h (which is speed of trucks across many European nations even though there may be slight differences depending on the country). They gave players the option to play with a speed limiter or play without it. Does this means SCS is anti-simulation? and should we say the Game should be Euro Truck only instead of Euro Truck Simulation? The answer is no because SCS understands that though this is a simulation game some people may prefer the arcade side of things whilst still being able to drive a truck. This is the same as TruckersMP. Road to Simulation was intended to encourage a stricter enforcement of rules and a drive towards simulation. This took away the option for people who want to experience a multiplayer environment in an arcade style with the same settings on the simulation server. It has been a huge success but as life is dynamic, change is inevitable and we live in a real world where people have a freedom to choose what they want to experience and not be forced to behave like others expect. This is the reason behind the "Back to Basis project". It is an opportunity for people to choose what best suits them. So if you like Simulation with speed limit then EU 1 is for you, if you like simulation without speed limits head to EU 2. Please because you love to play on EU 1 does not make you a better person than someone who loves to play on EU 2. So those who love to play on EU 1 kindly stop making derogatory remarks against the project and towards those who love to play on EU2. After all, if we are to look at it from a truly strict simulation point of view 110km/h is not simulation because it is still faster than 90km/h which is the most common speed limit for trucks across Europe. To Summarize, please respect people's choices and do not force your opinions on others. Calling people names because they love speed or choose to play on EU 2 is bullying and disrespectful because your decision to play on EU 1 does not make you a better person so stop the hypocrisy, enjoy the server you choose and let others have their peace. Finally show more respect to the people behind the scenes making sure everyone is happy and gets what they want and stop the doom speech. Thank you for reading..............................
