  1. +1 It is one of the better suggestions that I have seen out there because it can create a positive difference and allows the reputation system to eventually become used on more games in the future, it is solid in design. This might be something implemented but can also be a suggestion to the Valve developers and all the other game developers out there that have their base on Steam, so if you wish, Mr OP you can go for it!
  2. No more 32-bit support yay! Unfortunately chaos will ensue on the day because I feel there's going to be a demonstration in Rotterdam against the 64-bit regime by x86 players...

^lol whats that vid about krav?

If it really happens, it looks like Rotterdam would become too dangerous to enter and we would have rows of admins blocking the entrance and I thought we would have something that hit the headlines in the news section of the forums. Hopefully though we won't get a spam of "Player has been banned by Admin for x hours/days" because I thought that on that day we would receive at least 200+ bans and admins massively understretched.

  3. It's a success story for most of us here because that will reduce the workload caused by the minority of players still using 32. I think on the day of the update we are going to see a lot of 32-bit players coming to Rotterdam on the day of the update and the chat is going to be full for example "I am so sad that I don't have money for a 64-bit gaming rig" "Bring our destiny back with our computer" it's going to be tearful. But at the same time, we are going to see admins spamming /ann just to get the attention of x86 users about the update. From this point it's a reality for 32-bit players, they either need to switch over to a 64-bit computer to continue playing ETS2MP or if they don't want to lose their progress on their current computer, they will have to continue their game in SP. But it's joy for 64-bit users like me who are going to be largely staying out of the chaos on the day.
  4. +1 for concept, -1 for implementation. This is a very good tool in terms of concept and a very good idea, but I don't really see any point for a web developer to implement this because videos on each site (e.g. YouTube, Plays.tv, Shadowplay) can get deleted and also the layout of this would be confusing (some users put out a whole stream for reporting), especially when the report is submitted. I would only really see it partially work if the evidence box was restructured but people also send in screenshots which can make it look more confusing than what already is.
  5. You will have to check that out with Steam Support forums if you can use the same email and address with your new Steam account. If you want your names to match, go to ETS2MP.com and click on "Edit Account" at top right of page. Otherwise, I don't really know what are you specifically talking about - can you please make it clearer just in case?
  6. Remove any accessories and make sure you do not have any unsupported mods running because they can crash the game. You can even get yourself into trouble if you're using an unsupported mod. Otherwise, try to get to a point in SP where you can start doing the missions in MP and then you can switch over to MP and do your missions on that mode.
  7. You could try and reinstall ETS2MP since you say it only affects MP mode, but in the meantime you can do your upgrades in SP since you say that it works on that mode. If it doesn't help, you can create a support ticket on ets2mp.com/support and a member of support team will come and help you. Check your config.cfg for SP mode and try and rule out any changes that you have made on that file that lead to the game crashing since that file contains the developer console settings that you may have changed. You may need to revert to an older version of your profile or start over on a new profile. ETS2SYNC.com is not the responsibility of MP team. As a final resort, you may need to reinstall Single player through Steam and run SP and see if your game still crashes. If in doubt about your Single Player installation, you can always post a thread on Steam Support forums or SCS forums about your issue.
  8. You want to try again by going through the betas in Euro Truck Simulator 2 properties in Steam and please disable any unsupported mods before playing ETS2MP as they will cause performance issues and you risk getting banned if you are playing with unsupported mods. If you still can't find a solution, make a post below or create a support ticket on http://ets2mp.com/support/where a member of support team might help you.
  9. This is a clever idea to implement overall, however trolls would abuse the warning blip and place red icons everywhere to attract the attention of IGAs everywhere across the map and divert them away from the more important places e.g. Rotterdam/EP. This would result in a further four-fold increase in trolling across the servers overall because people can largely ram into another player and escape punishment for a long period of time. It would be useful to incorporate ETS2MAP.com features into both the world map and the GPS, but it would create CPU and privacy issues doing this. About the admin blip, admins should not be visible when they are flying around the map because it would be too obvious for trolls to know. Convoys are just too difficult to program for computational reasons (when is the convoy taking place? How many participants?) The warning icons can however be edited so that it is more robot-styled but again it is quite difficult to code doing it that way. Overall, not much to say except it is a very good concept but needs a lot of work if this suggestion is going to work successfully.
  10. I feel that it's good for new players because as you know autoparking is a no in MP so this suggestion if implemented it makes the visibility of other players feel transparent. I feel that it should be an option in TAB menu then clicking on settings.
  11. Are you talking about something that's happened in MP or SP by the way? It's something to do with your game since you say that other games work fine. But first, you want to try and solve the issue from within ETS2 first. You can try reducing or turning off the scaling, lowering down the resolution/quality of the game before you move on to your recording software. Check both OpenGL and DirectX modes and try and avoid running 64-bit mode. If you can find a solution, congratulations, if you can't find it yet, post it below and I'll try and figure out your next step.
  12. Very fun placing them on the road, it's very funny and likes to fool you into thinking you'll damage your truck!
  13. I am definitely willing to become active on the forums and do some in-game activity because I want to eventually try to become a Moderator when I am 17 (which is in two years time) and reach the required posts and likes. I am then going to build up my reputation if I get promoted and eventually become an IGA (in-game admin) on ETS2MP.

Thank you very much for your commitment to post here! I know that TheFlyingDutchman was an IGA on this game. I am going to continue to try and show the commitment and eventually become one of the players with the red name looking at the reports and making the right decisions at the right time. Good wishes!

  14. If you still can't get the DLCs to work, post a thread on SCS/Steam Support forums since you might have exhausted all your options and they might be able to figure out the way forward for you.
  15. Moved up to King of the Road (Level 40), the 8th rank of ETS2 after delivering LPG from Bratislava to Liverpool. Looking to get up to the Legend rank at the furthest because it's 50 levels to Divine Champion afterwards.

  16. Day 14 of longest distance in a job world record attempt it took 1 hour 20 minutes to drive to Cambridge and unload the trailer. The final distance on this trip is 54,563km. Submission of proof to follow soon!

  17. Day 13 of longest distance in a job world record attempt it took 2 hours 30 minutes to drive 3,771km which takes the total distance driven to 53,112km. YAAY! I'VE BEATEN THE WORLD RECORD! The only thing left is to get the load to Cambridge now and submit the proof.

The Leeds Lad, because of the distance required to beat the world record, it's not possible to do it in one go. It has to be broken down into multiple days.

We need to factor the rest period the player has to do other things in general.

  18. Day 12 of longest distance in a job world record attempt it took me 2 hours 50 minutes to drive 3,012km (301 real kilometres) which takes the total distance driven to 49,341km. Need another 2,700km to the world record.

  19. Just doing it everyday you know. Wednesday (Day 12) I am going to aim to hit at least 3 - 3,500km. Nearly there as ETR's world record is under threat. Hopefully on Thursday (Day 13) I can finish the delivery (need to do it the usual way from Verona - Cambridge) and submit the proof!
