  1. Hi @Ballistic.Hellcat, Driving for a VTC is great fun if you find the best one for you! The VTC area is located here https://truckersmp.com/vtc and you can browse different VTCs whether they're new or verified etc! To apply they need to be on the Recruitment: Open and then they'll have their own recruitment process. Many with their own websites will do it through there or their discords etc. It's simply a case of reading the correct section that explains how to apply For example, a VTC like Prime Logistics (I'll link them here for credit) hires via their website. So go to their VTC page and follow the instructions there to apply. A lot of VTCs use different systems, so it's all down to finding the one for you and reading the information on there page! I hope this helps and you find a VTC for you! Owen
  2. Hi @xJazzy, Unreliable connection is usually caused by your internet connection. I will link some possible solutions down below. There are also some minor fixes like using F9 and F11 (turning off chat and your UI, respectively). Here are some solved solutions to take a look out: I hope this helps, Owen
  3. Hi there! There are a few solutions I have for helping with connection problems. Some of the simplest involve using the F9 and F11 keys (turning off chat and the UI respectively). These will gain you some fps and make it easier on your system! I will also link some solved topics below to give you an idea of some other solutions which may be of help. It might also be worth closing any applications that are unnecessarily open I hope this helps, Owen
  4. You must head to your Steam Library > Properties > Betas > Select the drop down menu > NONE - Opt out of all betas This should then update your game to the most recent version available. Make sure you let it download fully before starting TruckersMP
  5. Hi @IDriver, You can report bugs using the following link and selecting the bug report category! https://truckersmp.com/support/ticket/create I hope this helps, Owen
  6. Hey @janithjithmal, I believe this might be one of many bugs that have occurred due to Fmod. You can report the bug to the support team using the following link and selecting the Bug Report category https://truckersmp.com/support/ticket/create I hope this helps, Owen
  7. Happy birthday :D Have a good day!

  8. This is some really helpful advice! I really appreciate it Thanks a lot and I'll keep it in mind when I find some time to start learning!
  9. @Syln He hasn't utilised the wrong sub-forum. He probably could have used the help section. The guides are simply that, they're posts to show users how to do something. Just thought I'd let you know But yes, all units are located at the bottom of game settings.
  10. Hey @CougarITA, It seems that even if you're opting out of any betas your game still hasn't updated. Make sure than when you select opt out of all betas you are letting the game install it's latest non-beta version. Then once the download is complete try to load TMP again. Here's an article that might help! https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/26 I hope this helps, Owen

    Ets2

I assume you're either trying to play a non-promods server and are accidentally selecting promods or you are purposefully selecting promods and you don't have the relevant files. You must download the promods map files from their site (you must be registered to access the download page). Also be aware that you must have all map dlcs currently available for ETS2 for Promods to work Just in case you need further reference. Here's an article for installation in terms of TMP: https://truckersmp.com/kb/614
  12. I daren't go anywhere near Genoa after what I've seen on ETS2maps ?
  13. Hi @Jaxus, Try verifying the integrity of the game file! To do this go to your library on steam > Right click on ETS2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity.. Let it update and regain any missing files then try launching TMP I hope this helps, Owen
  14. Hi @sgtharley5050, I found this article which might help you out! https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/dual-monitors-how-to-mouse-out-of-full-screen-games-without-alt-tab.2731167/ I hope this helps, Owen
  15. This is really helpful, thank you so much! I'll be sure to check these sites out. I appreciate your help
  16. I'm unsure as to whether you can change the keybindings for TruckersMP (unless theres a way to do it manually through the files, but I wouldn't recommend that). I think your best bet is just rebinding the brake key to a different key. It's probably the easiest and least hassle way of doing it Just so you don't rebind it to another TMP key here's an article with the binds: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/85 Hope this helps, Owen.

  20. Hi all! So I'm interested in learning some C++ as well as some other programming languages. Not really for anything specific other than the fact I think it would just be helpful to know these things. It also would open up for some opportunities in the future etc. I know about sites such as w3schools, this is where I learnt HTML and CSS to a certain degree. However, I'd like to have some other options in case I want to learn something more specific etc. Would also appreciate any tips on good places to get started and ways to apply what I learnt, maybe something like a starting project? Any advice or links etc to help get started with C++ would be great. Thanks! Owen.
  21. Hi there! Typically the unreliable connection error is down to ping. There are a few typical fixes I use to try and re-gain ping. Firstly I use the F9 and F11 keys. These turn off chat and the UI (respectively). This might help lower the ping in some way. Here are some other articles which might help!
  22. Never been to a Real Ops before, however it was quite the experience! Loved every second, I only wish I had more time on my hands so I could attend the full event. I look forward to the next one!
  23. Hi @DuduHell, You seem quite frustrated ? I myself, am not a Developer so I wouldn't know the ins and outs of how the system works specifically. However, I do think that if you're experiencing that level of ping you must be playing on a server based far away from wherever you live. That is the likely cause of the reason you spike over 300ms. The ping reader on the tab is very jumpy from what I've seen and it doesn't display a constant reading of your ping level so it is likely that if you're averaging at 280ms, that there are moments you spike over 300ms (the limit) and get kicked from the server. So in some ways it is a user problem and it is not. I won't suggest playing on a server that is based closer your location as you have made rather clear you enjoy playing in crowded areas. However, I do not know of any fixes for your issue other than suggesting you move to the server location. Which would be a rather extreme method of solving your problem ? It does seem like you may have to endure the unreliable connection. I can make some minor suggestions which may help prevent you spiking over the limit. These include using the F9 key (to disable chat) and the F11 key (to disable usernames and UI). This may help reduce your ping when in largely populated areas. I hope this somewhat helps with your issue, Owen
  24. Hi @Winterpanda, Here is a thread that helps answer your question! Hope this helps, Owen
