Greetings truckers! The scariest time of the year is almost upon us! We have been well known over the past years for hosting our annual Halloween convoy, full of spooks and scares. However, this year the ghosts and ghouls at TruckersMP have decided to take our celebration of spooky season to the next level - with a dastardly duo of events including The Big Pumpkin Pickup, and our unique Halloween experience, you are certainly in for a trick or treat. Read on to find out all of the information…if you dare! The Big Pumpkin Pickup We have been hard at work constructing a brand new farm just outside Rostock, where magically large pumpkins have been growing just in time for Halloween. Delivery of these impressive pumpkins (they truly are a sight to behold!) are required to locations all across Europe. However, there was a bump in the night and the specialist delivery drivers that were on their way to take on this frightful task mysteriously vanished - their last known whereabouts are believed to have been somewhere near a haunted highway… …So, we’re calling on the community for your help! Here are all the details: To pick up these seasonal cargoes, simply head to our custom farm just outside Rostock. Check out the map below! As a reward for taking part in The Big Pumpkin Pickup you will earn a special achievement for your profile. To get this achievement you must deliver a minimum of 5 seasonal cargoes across Europe. Be warned that delivering a load to the city of Rostock will NOT count towards this achievement. The cargoes for this event are called “Giant Pumpkins” & “Halloween Supplies”. This event will begin on the 20th October and you have until the 31st October to finish all the deliveries. TruckersMP's Halloween Experience Halloween just got even spookier at TruckersMP. We are devilishly delighted to introduce our all-new Halloween experience! Join us on the 29th October to take part in this never seen before event. We can’t tell you too much about it ahead of time, because that would let the witches cat out of the bag and spoil the surprise! However, you can be sure this is an event not to be missed! Here are all the details: The server will open at 15:00 UTC and the event will finish at 21:00 UTC. You may join the server between any of these times. Alternative Timezones Once joining the server you MUST spawn at Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Please do not spawn at any other city as the roads may be blocked/closed and will be classed as free roaming. Once spawning at Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, there will be a custom queue system, we ask you to respect and follow all instructions from Event Staff and signage in the area. This experience will not be like a convoy as we plan to manage it a little differently from previous years to make this experience even better. Hey, Trucky disabled the feature back in June, here's a copy of what they wrote on their Discord.. "Until further notice, the Online Friends feature and Friends list will be always empty / no friends online to avoid heavy load on Steam API calls as Steam is banning API keys for too many requests It's highly possible this feature won't back for a long time." It's a shame as it was a useful feature!

I wouldn't, because that post is 4 and a half year old when the 1.35 version came out. The game changed a bit since then and the physics too, the default and maximum values of some settings (namely stability) changed as well. Don't know about you, but for me the trucks feel much less stable today than back then, even at maximum settings. Tested the setting from first link and they turn your truck to jelly with just a little bit too sudden change of direction, I wouldn't recommend those, or even any negative values. These are my preferred physics related settings: uset g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "0.2" (20%) uset g_suspension_stiffness "0.2" (20%) uset g_trailer_stability "0.125" (25%) uset g_driveshaft_torque "0.3" (30%) uset g_truck_stability "0.125" (25%) uset g_camera_horizon_lock "0" (0%) uset g_cam_physics_value "2" (200%) uset g_cam_physics "2" (enabled)

It's cool idea that should be added as it can help to users who can't operate with English enough.

While a good concept, unless you know towns as well as your vehicle. It's gonna lead to lots of confusion. If a job says to deliver to EuroGoods and it's a Jack-O-Lantern now. Without a GPS or seeing the end flag, it's just going to be too confusing. A better system would be to maybe replace some characters in the company name to be more festive. Sadly, it won't be of much use for more then 14 days. If it gets added for next year.

All official rules are in place during an official TruckersMP event. Although, there are some that are different from the public servers. Be sure to follow these rules when attending an official TruckersMP event. Last updated: 03 Nov 2023 Overtaking - It is not permitted to overtake during a convoy. If you are overtaking, you will be kicked from the server on your first offence. The second offence will be a ban depending on the situation. Cars - Use of cars are prohibited during any convoys organised by TruckersMP as they are reserved for staff. The only cars you will see during a convoy will be either Game Moderators or the Event Team. If you are caught using a car during an event, you will be kicked from the server. Repeated offences may result in a ban for the duration of the event. Reckless Driving - Please ensure that you are keeping a safe distance from the player in front of you, to ensure you can stop safely. There will be Game Moderators watching over the event, making sure that participants are acting appropriately. Free-roam - Roaming throughout the server and not following the event is not allowed. You must be participating with the convoy, or in the surrounding areas. Failure to comply will result in removal from the event server. Convoy Control - You must follow convoy control instructions given by the TruckersMP team. They are there to ensure that everyone is driving in the correct direction and alert you of upcoming hazards. You can identify them by their coloured usernames and in-game tag! They will be driving a police car. Their instructions must be followed at all times, otherwise, you will be removed from the event server. Signs and barriers - You must adhere to any overhead signs (Including the "Red X"), directional arrows, barriers and any other object placed down on the road. You must not drive around them and/or ignore them as they are placed to ensure your smooth passage at our events. Trailers - Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a trailer is required to participate in our convoy's. For Euro Truck Simulator 2; you should not exceed two (2) trailers. For American Truck Simulator; you should not exceed two (2) trailers with the exemption of the base triple. Heavy Haul cargo is not permitted for either game (empty trailers are permitted so long as you are not causing a gap). If your trailer is causing gaps in the convoy, you may have to pull over or teleport to the Services. Traffic Signals - The convoy will have priority over traffic signals. It is not required for convoy participants to stop at red traffic signals, or yield at junctions unless directed otherwise. The event servers are only online for the duration of the event, they are not available 24/7.
