Before anyone jumps to conclusions: Yes, I have just been removed from the TruckersMP team, after nearly 7 years of service. But no, it wasn't because of abuse of power or anything of the sort. It wasn't on my own accords as I expected I'd someday leave, but it happened. I am not at liberty to discuss the situation and I intend to keep it that way. But let's just say that I made a mistake that I wasn't aware of until it was too late to fix it. Had I known of this mistake in time, I would have fixed it as I have always done with any of the mistakes I have made in the past and caught in time. After all, I am a person who is capable of admitting when he's wrong and I try my best to fix my mistakes when I can. This time I simply didn't know until it was late and the outcome is something that, although it saddens me deeply, is also something that I take full responsibility for. I am very sad, maybe a bit disappointed, but I hold no grudge towards TMP. I'd like to believe that in all my years of service I have contributed to make it a better place and I can safely say that there are some good things around here that were implemented because of me and my suggestions. I never held any of my positions in the staff as a "position of power", never pushed my weight as GM/GML around or anything similar. Heck, I never even gave any sort of attention to my rank in TMP on my livestreams. To this day, I only ever done two moderation streams, so little I cared for the "attention" or "power" side of the job. When I first joined the team back in 2017 I did so with the sole intent to help make it a better place and that is what I always aimed for, always working in the background and helping with events whenever I could, even if I made some mistakes along the way. When the Events Team wasn't even officially created, I was invited to be a part of it because they noticed me willingly helping around. I was happy to be one of the very first members of that team. At first I joined as a Support member and I was also really happy when I was invited to join the Game Moderation team. It's always been tough work, but I enjoyed doing it. I am happy to have been part of the team for as long as I did. I might be one of the oldest members around at this point. I am sad to be leaving under the conditions I find myself in, but as I stated previously, I hold no grudge. Some disappointment, yes; but no grudge. I don't know if I will ever be welcome back into the ranks to once again offer my services in helping making TruckersMP a better place for all of us and honestly I dared not ask, but as of now this is the way things are. I thank TruckersMP for letting me be a part of the team for all these years and I am sorry for the mistakes I made along the way. I just hope my good work may have been of as much help as I hope it was. So, what's next? Well, as I said, I don't know if I will ever be welcomed back but again, I hold no grudges and anyone who cares should still be able to find me on the roads occasionally. Albeit most likely on ATS, most of the time. TruckersMP aside, I'm still keeping up my projects such as my weekly gaming and art livestreams on Twitch as well my art projects over at Deviant Art. And who knows... maybe now that I have extra free time on my hands now that I don't have to share it with TMP work, I might be able to give those personal projects more attention and time or maybe even start something new that all might enjoy. So yeah... I may not be a TruckersMP staff member anymore, but to anyone who cares, you can still find me around on the same places of always. And yes, I'll still keep on posting status updates on my TMP profile about things that I may want to share with the community as well as messages letting you guys know whenever I am going live on a livestream. Which speaking of... Today is Friday and is one of the days when I am supposed to have a livestream go live, but I am unsure if I will do it. But stay tuned, anyway. I'll confirm later. Long message. Guess I wrote more than I originally intended... So yeah... Thank you TruckersMP. I am sad and disappointed, but hold no grudges and I still wish you the best in the future and if I am ever welcomed back, I'd more than gladly re-join and keep doing my best to once again help make it a better place for all to enjoy. But for now, this is where I say good-bye. At least my name is green now. I like the color green. Green is a nice color.

Hey, Trucky disabled the feature back in June, here's a copy of what they wrote on their Discord.. "Until further notice, the Online Friends feature and Friends list will be always empty / no friends online to avoid heavy load on Steam API calls as Steam is banning API keys for too many requests It's highly possible this feature won't back for a long time." It's a shame as it was a useful feature!

I wouldn't, because that post is 4 and a half year old when the 1.35 version came out. The game changed a bit since then and the physics too, the default and maximum values of some settings (namely stability) changed as well. Don't know about you, but for me the trucks feel much less stable today than back then, even at maximum settings. Tested the setting from first link and they turn your truck to jelly with just a little bit too sudden change of direction, I wouldn't recommend those, or even any negative values. These are my preferred physics related settings: uset g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "0.2" (20%) uset g_suspension_stiffness "0.2" (20%) uset g_trailer_stability "0.125" (25%) uset g_driveshaft_torque "0.3" (30%) uset g_truck_stability "0.125" (25%) uset g_camera_horizon_lock "0" (0%) uset g_cam_physics_value "2" (200%) uset g_cam_physics "2" (enabled)

While a good concept, unless you know towns as well as your vehicle. It's gonna lead to lots of confusion. If a job says to deliver to EuroGoods and it's a Jack-O-Lantern now. Without a GPS or seeing the end flag, it's just going to be too confusing. A better system would be to maybe replace some characters in the company name to be more festive. Sadly, it won't be of much use for more then 14 days. If it gets added for next year.

Rules for screenshots: Must be Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator related. Pictures must be visible in your reply, not just show a link. All official rules are in place during an official TruckersMP event. Although, there are some that are different from the public servers. Be sure to follow these rules when attending an official TruckersMP event. Last updated: 03 Nov 2023 Overtaking - It is not permitted to overtake during a convoy. If you are overtaking, you will be kicked from the server on your first offence. The second offence will be a ban depending on the situation. Cars - Use of cars are prohibited during any convoys organised by TruckersMP as they are reserved for staff. The only cars you will see during a convoy will be either Game Moderators or the Event Team. If you are caught using a car during an event, you will be kicked from the server. Repeated offences may result in a ban for the duration of the event. Reckless Driving - Please ensure that you are keeping a safe distance from the player in front of you, to ensure you can stop safely. There will be Game Moderators watching over the event, making sure that participants are acting appropriately. Free-roam - Roaming throughout the server and not following the event is not allowed. You must be participating with the convoy, or in the surrounding areas. Failure to comply will result in removal from the event server. Convoy Control - You must follow convoy control instructions given by the TruckersMP team. They are there to ensure that everyone is driving in the correct direction and alert you of upcoming hazards. You can identify them by their coloured usernames and in-game tag! They will be driving a police car. Their instructions must be followed at all times, otherwise, you will be removed from the event server. Signs and barriers - You must adhere to any overhead signs (Including the "Red X"), directional arrows, barriers and any other object placed down on the road. You must not drive around them and/or ignore them as they are placed to ensure your smooth passage at our events. Trailers - Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a trailer is required to participate in our convoy's. For Euro Truck Simulator 2; you should not exceed two (2) trailers. For American Truck Simulator; you should not exceed two (2) trailers with the exemption of the base triple. Heavy Haul cargo is not permitted for either game (empty trailers are permitted so long as you are not causing a gap). If your trailer is causing gaps in the convoy, you may have to pull over or teleport to the Services. Traffic Signals - The convoy will have priority over traffic signals. It is not required for convoy participants to stop at red traffic signals, or yield at junctions unless directed otherwise. The event servers are only online for the duration of the event, they are not available 24/7.
