  4. I think this is the worst rule update TruckersMP has ever released. While I get that people make mistakes and we should give them another chance, ban evading is very different as it literally defeats the purpose of enforcing the rules and banning people. This would be a considerable idea if everyone was caught who is ban evading, but I'm not sure this is the case. Also, an interesting case is when someone was banned for hacking earlier, tried to evade it so a ban evading ban has been issued against them on the other account, I am not sure every single case will be checked one-by-one, so the "those that have been previously banned will retrospectively have their bans modified where appropriate to reflect this" part either means every ban evading ban will be removed automatically (like when the §2.8 change came out) or these will be checked manually, but the second option would take so much time and effort.

  5. see this is where you are wrong unfortunately! Let’s use a real life situation in this case, for example, If I was to murder a mass amount of people and go to prison for it, do you think because I’ve served 8 years prison time I’m not going to come out of prison and do it all again? someone who’s broken the rules of the game should be banned to the duration of time set to each rule. someone’s mindset isn’t just going to change with a click of a finger, they’ve been banned once for breaking rules and then they feel the need to continue and break more rules by ban evading? In conclusion this is another one of truckersmp’s desperate decisions to try and gain numbers back onto their servers after losing so many genuine players due to silly and ludicrous rule changes! All that is happening now is that you are letting repeat offenders back into your servers to break rules again and just kill off all of your genuine players, it’s ridiculous!

  6. TruckersMP continues to soften their punishments. I assume we'll also see a change of the server configurations after the results of all surveys have been evaluated. It appears to be a desperate attempt in keeping their number of players and/ or attracting more players. Maybe Road To Simulation was just a hoax for the same reasons.

  9. Hey, why not give hackers another chance too? Someone banned for using cheat engine once to bypass speed limit back in 2018, becasue they were immature, might be in completely different mindset now. It's not fair to them and since you are going to raise speed limit anyway, I don't see why these people should be ruled out. Think of the benefits it would bring. Sure, I almost always make my accounts while asleep.

  10. I disagree. It is common for people to drive on a suspended license in real life. Is there license permanently revoked if it is their first offense? Unless there are some crazy circumstances, they can still get their license back after a certain period of time. The same logic is being applied here. Of course if they are a repeated offender, then they would be permanently banned, which I explained above. To be honest, we've never had a true "Road to Simulation". We don't enforce stop signs (when players aren't around), we don't enforce speeding, we don't enforce turn signals. At the end of the day, we want players to drive semi-realistically, but we realize that this is a game. The only real efforts around 'Road to Simulation" was to increase ban lengths as a deterrent for players to follow our rules. Ban evading was permanent before the road to simulation changes. I believe that having Ban Evading at 3 months is no less of a deterrent then a permanent ban.

  11. This is a necessary change. TruckersMP is approaching 8 years old. A player that ban evaded in 2015 could have a completely new mindset and want to follow the rules; we should give those players another chance. I've noticed that the majority of the players who ban evade do not have malicious intent. They get banned for a small offense and create a new account because they want to keep playing their favorite game. Permanently banning players when they have no malicious intent is frankly too harsh. While it is true some players ban evade to ruin the experience from others, rule §2.9 is still in effect. If the GMMs feel a player has malicious intent they can still be permanently banned.

  13. And on the front of our website we even state this: "At TruckersMP we take simulation seriously. Here you can immerse yourself in a virtual world surrounded by other truckers from all over the globe driving across the USA and Europe, and with the addition of ProMods, the world is your oyster." We clearly dont take simulation seriously as we have stepped away further from road to simulation with the resent change. We have decided to take rule brakes less serious. And i do believe that the change to ban evading will be less of a deterrent to ban evading than a permanent ban will. Some would have read the rules and thought "i am not risking a permanent ban" but now more people will be willing to risk it as its only a 3 month ban. So i do agree with Bean above.

  16. It's great to know that TruckersMP is trying to listen to your community to improve the players' experience within the game and also on their platforms. I hope we can see changes soon About the forum-related comments on this topic, I'd like to say something that no one has commented on yet: People can have different opinions but one thing I think about the Forum is the language sections that are partially abandoned due to not having specific and active forum moderators for each language. It's a great idea, but in my opinion, it's not being used and/or managed properly. I say this for the Portuguese discussion, which was once active, but nowadays, as there is no specific "Forum Moderator" for this international section, it discourages Portuguese and Brazilians from interacting since the official content is outdated. I think this isn't an isolated case and that the same happens for other language sections. In addition, when a topic is created or moved to the "Portuguese Help Section", community responses must be approved by a community moderator and precisely because there is no moderator, most times these responses take 30 days or more to be approved. An example of this is a topic I answered on December 21, 2022, and has not yet been reviewed and approved (i.e. that's been 68 days). Tbh, this is not at all friendly because it discourages people from interacting and it's a super moderated section, but there aren't even moderators to take care of the topics and answers posted there I imagine the same problem must happen with other international sections (e.g. Arabian, Italian, Spanish, and the like) that there are no "Forum Moderators" or higher who speak that language and can be active to moderate a specific language section. Anyway, TruckersMP Upper Staff should think of new plans to solve this problem too. For me, closing the international sections isn't the solution. I understand the importance of having strict requirements in any position as this is how TMP screens potential new candidates who will offer serious, quality volunteer work. However, I think that in this specific circumstance, the "Language Forum Moderator" role should be created where the requirements should be more flexible to allow people who have advanced knowledge or are fluent in a specific language (e.g. Arabian, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and similar) can have this opportunity to contribute to the community without English being a priority. This means that even if the applicant has difficulties with English but manages to understand and communicate well in that language with the help of a translation tool, this shouldn't be a problem as it can be difficult to find people who speak the local language and basic English. If the above idea cannot be a solution for some internal reason, then I also think that there should be something like a "Language Forum Moderator Leader" that requires knowledge in both languages so that he can make the proper reports to his Manager or higher, and that also allows recruiting new volunteers for that section without requiring English. This can work, but it must be well-planned. I forgot to say these things in the website survey and I can't edit my answer there, but if TMP wants to listen to your community. So, I think it's okay to share this here

So I think Trucks with Regid Tandem Chassis with a Tandem/Drawbar Trailers would fit perfectly to TMP. Edit: I found a post which was allready rejected It would make no sense for me if you reject this Suggestion again. Because you implemented allready Season Weathers (Summer, Autumn, Spring & Winter), the Scout SuperB, Alternate Vehicles & DBus. So, at this time i hope you accept this Suggestion. Yours SourCrowd

Suggestion Name: AI Cars for ATS Suggestion Description: Add more variety for both the players and staff Any example images: See below Why should it be added?: The last car that was added was the Skoda. Nothing else has been added since May 2016. My video: Alternating vehicles (or forever). This gives players more cars to use, staff gets better emergency vehicles. Which will look better for the next Real OPS on ATS. This is the only vehicle you see at any dealership. This is the list of all cars i have spent a couple of days finding.   20. Suggestion Description: On the Duisburg-Calais road, one of the biggest situations that increases traffic is gas stations. Players have difficulty entering and exiting the gas station. Due to the large crowd, the traffic is increasing. Any example images: Why should it be added?: Adding a new gas station will remove excess traffic and help make the road smoother. Players will not have to wait for other players and will be able to enter and exit more easily when they enter the gas stations on their way.

Hello, I think people should be given a chance, but I think 90 days can be exceeded and 120 days can be banned because it is equivalent to the 5th ban, I think this rule update is good because most people can get an unconscious ban and get an account, usually new players.people's money is already going when they get perma and they can't play the game again and they buy new accounts, so tmp has made a good update.

  22. Hello truckers. Nothing better than starting the week with news as it is. To begin with, I was already against the end of the permanent ban, the TMP excuse is that we all make mistakes and will have a 2nd opportunity. And we've all seen and are feeling what TMP has become. Now with the end of the evasion ban is in many cases the beginning of TMP piracy, the beginning of the end. ETS/TMP simulation game!!!! Yes maybe some time ago we were moving towards that status not now. Summary: Could it be that the TMP is more interested in the quantity than the quality of its players? Where does the TMP want to go with these rule changes? Make ETS a GTA!!!! Hugs and good KMS to all.

You can be sure that I will do my best to help you. 1) In your Steam library, right click on ETS2/ATS and then select 'Properties'. 2) Select 'Local Files' tab and then click 'Browse Local Files'. 3) Copy the directory path and paste it to the launcher in ‘Settings’ tab.   28. Any particular sections you wish to highlight? Absolutely, and this has been on my to-do for a while. In the near future, I'll restructure the sections in status buckets (e.g., "New", "Accepted", etc.) rather than categorise them based on the topic area (e.g., "game", "web", etc.), and suggestions that are not decided upon yet will be open for discussion immediately so that others can chime in and co-create and refine ideas.

  34. Suggestion Name: Calais Revamp Suggestion Description: Remake the entire city. Any example images: Yes. Why should it be added?: Calais is a nightmare to get in and especially out of the city. The current problem areas are Traffic Light leaving A16 & Road in front of Repair Shop. Map is laid out and based on the actual city map. What my suggestion does: Road from A16 to Port is one way to the port, exits removed. Port Road splits at the end to port or city. At the second eastern exit will be used as the primary access road for gas, with access the repair towards the center of the city (with a light at the exit intersection). Companies are spread out to give roads a purpose to drive down it, besides map discovery. A16 intersection to Train has been revamped. One way roads to and from. With an added gas station on each side. A loop road has been placed in case someone misses the entrance to the trains. Understanding my map: A16: Purple Line Blue Lines: Two way roads and roundabouts. Lime Line: One way in one direction. Green Line: One way in the other direction. Orange Line: Road to a company/service. Red Line: One way path where 2 green lines would of met (Train Area Only). That's a bridge, not a junction. Black Area: Painted ground to help visually see the map better. Original roads are kept solely for the purpose of viewing the map. They won't exist should this suggestion be implemented. Placement of the companies is used as a guide. Staff reserve the right to change (stokes for an example) to a different location they deem fits the layout and won't be a bottleneck area.
