Event Team Recruitment From the 19th of December 2022 until the 2nd of January 2023, we are looking for talented individuals to join our Event Team. The Event Team is responsible for the planning, management and coordination of official events within the TruckersMP community. Loading saves and directing players along the route is a crucial task, which sometimes involves the privilege of driving special vehicles. Core Requirements: Familiarity with TruckersMP and its rules Must have a website account that is at least 12 months old Must have a forum account Must be at least 16 years old No bans or forum/Discord punishments within the last 12 months Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months Good behaviour across our communication channels Must be sufficiently proficient in English (written) Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism Specific Qualifications: A working microphone and the ability to speak fluent English (To be able to communicate with the team). Have both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Having all map DLC’s is an advantage, but not a necessity. Be available on weekends (in particular afternoons/evenings (UTC). Languages: English We are looking for users that are able to speak verbal fluent English as per the specific qualifications. Notes: We are also looking for talented content creators to join the Event Team. So if you have the ability to create 3D models and/or map content then please do apply ensuring you fill out the appropriate question with as much detail as possible. The way it works is that the moderator decides your ban length for the first 3 bans depending on what you did. Then for the 4th ban you always get 30 days ban no matter what you did (except for anything that would give a permanent ban) and then for the 5th ban its always a 90 day ban. Each ban expires a year after it has been given. So not at the start of the new year. So lets say you got your first ban on 23 of September 2022. Then that ban will be active and count towards the history bans until the 23 of September 2023. So any of your bans is always active for a year from when they where given. Now lets say you have 4 bans active and one ban expires cause its a year old. Now you have 3 active bans where one of them is a 30 day ban. And then you get a new ban, and since that is now the 4th active ban that will be a 30 day ban. Now then another ban expires, so you again have 3 active bans, and you then get a new ban. The new 4th ban will not be another 30 day ban. Cause since you have two active history bans, in this case the two 30 day bans, your new 4th ban will be a 90 day ban. Because if you have two active history bans, your next ban will always be a 90 day ban. And so even if you only have two active bans, if those are history bans your next ban will always be a 90 day ban.

Due to various reasons, however, the project never really came to fruition. Hiring our DevOps engineer 3v changed this and revived the project, going back to basics and starting from scratch. ⠀ Until now, the launcher was mainly used to connect to our servers, but it was our dream to expand the possibilities and improve the user experience. There is plenty of information that we know users like to keep themselves updated with, and we have an understanding that it can be hard to keep track of everything going on through just the website sometimes. Have you ever wanted to see what servers are busiest before launching TruckersMP? Do you want to take a look at upcoming events without having to head to the event system? Or perhaps you want to make sure you do not miss any quick announcements from the website, check our official socials or the current versions of the games? ⠀ We are happy to announce that we are now ready to share our brand new, modern launcher with you! All of the above and more is now possible from directly within our launcher, allowing for you to spend less time looking for information and more time playing.
