Looks like TruckersMP Map's gone down but status page shows it being operational... Been down a while so a little odd.

I wonder if profile pictures will ever return in-game.

I find it hilarious that people are now using Sim 2 over Sim 1, exactly how we used to have EU1 and EU2. Its weird because there's more slots on Sim 1 than Sim 2. Meh people gonna people

So errr, the servers are having a good time... 

Those speed bumps on C-D are deadly, got 7% damage on the Skoda from them haha. Well they sure are effective, that junction is really nicely done though, hats off to the team for that.

Is it me or is it everytime i go to any TMP site it shows DDoS Protection screen... It used to do it every once in a while but now it is every time which is quite strange.

I've just realised, the TMP launcher still has a "Facebook" button yet the TMP Facebook no longer exists.

If u want Winter Physics in ETS2 on MP, the closest thing you can get to it is the standard rain physics in ETS.

Set your rain probability too 100% so it always rains/snows and the roads will be quite slippy, but you wont be sent into orbit or sent to mach 1 speeds.

 

It's not the greatest but it's decent enough

Is it normal for you to drop 10-20fps when a player is near, whether is just one or multiple? Seems to be doing it quite badly now, even with quite a powerful GPU at no matter what resolution or settings it seems to drop fps massively without using anymore than 50% GPU.

Bear in mind i dont have this issue in Singleplayer, or any issues with FPS dropping for that matter

Apparently Grimes has released an updated version of the physics which solves the issues. Not so sure but according to others, it has actually solved the issue of being flung into the air and the accelerating problem.

Just a PSA about Wintermod Physics:
To be honest as much as winter physics in TMP are cool, they need to be removed as right now they are seriously bugged and if u steer and brake u will LITERALLY fly away (no joke), and if u catch yourself in a slide and brake u will fly away even faster and further to the point where the game will crash.

 

To the TMP devs, please remove the winter physics as it is well, dangerous to be quite honest. Everytime i steer and brake or get in a slide, i will literally fly at 300+ km/h with no hope of stopping, and hoping i dont hit anyone... And yea the advice is to just not install it for TMP but even then, there will be people who will get it not realise how buggy it is, it's almost cyberpunk level buggy...

Those who want a Christmas UI pack for TruckersMP, here's the brand new ModernUI Christmas Edition! Hope you enjoy, especially those who are celebrating early for whatever reason

 

 

Just a warning to others, don't turn on the built-in music player or radio, this also affects Singleplayer. There's an issue where the game will crash (sometimes not generating a "game.crash.txt" file), but in the 'game.crash.txt' file it shows fmod.dll as the issue, but it only occurs when the music player is on or radio is playing.

 

For now, if u wanna listen to music without any issues I'd recommend using Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music or VLC for now, for radio you could use the radio's own player or Tunein Radio as a temporary solution I suppose... Quite annoying but hopefully SCS will fix it.

Well after a long time of self isolation, I've now no longer got corona/covid-19. Only downside now is I've lost my sense of smell for a few weeks.

Honestly I'd rather no sense of smell than to go through this again, not fun.
