  1. How is this needed? We already have blips for players which is more than enough. It won't make any difference to have a custom blip for the Skoda, if you hate it so much, make a suggestion that it should be limited or removed, this way we rid ourselves of the Skoda reckless drivers. Either way, the GPS is used for directions. The addition of blips that we currently have is a generous subtle touch to alert us of the presence of players in the proximity so we don't make a mess crashing into each other at every other turn and corner even though we should use our mirrors and instinct rather than the GPS. Don't ruin it.
  2. Include the option to disable VTC advertisements in the settings just for personal preference. This way whoever doesn't like them can simply turn them off.
  3. The Gods of TruckersMP favor me, thus I'm here to win.
  4. Having multiple accounts is not against the rules as long as you're not ban evading. However, assuming a rule is broken for the sake of instance, your accounts will be treated as one. If someone else uses your account and breaks a rule, despite who the person is, the account itself will be responsible for it, even if it's yours. For further information check out this topic.
  5. Idaho is going to be a game changer. More of a major crossroad between wonderful states, players will be able to cross to Washington from Nevada through Idaho without Oregon, and with the addition of Utah, long rides couldn't get more exciting. Alas, we're finally getting a larger-than-usual DLC. Hopefully Iberia will shift the abundance of veterans who're currently in eastern Europe towards southern France where it's virtually semi-dead. Besides, a long ride from southern Iberia to north-west Norway will be a ton of fun.

  7. Alas, it's almost finally released.

  10. You missed my point. It's an admin privilege, a prerogative for being a member of the staff team. They may or may not use it depending on a number of factors, but it remains a prerogative.
  11. The reason the Arcade servers are empty is that... hm, let me think for a minute... barely anyone wants to play them. The 5 out of 100 are the Arcade players, not the Simulation players, we're not complaining, the Arcade bunch are, we're totally fine here, and we're loving it. The "simulation" experience we have is that we abide by rules of the road, by TMP rules and most importantly we don't bother fellow drivers. As said above, we play the game how it's supposed to be played. You fail to discern that this was done not to just balance the servers and the opposing sides, but to also drastically decrease the number of filed reports by throwing the cocaine-influenced drivers into their own dimension where they can eat each other alive and call themselves names in their own distinct languages while running red lights, so that the peaceful and remarkably calm simulation drivers can have their peace. Hence why the collision and speed limit are disabled on the Arcade servers, meaning there'll be a significant decrease in reports per day. I should tell you the same, why not play singleplayer with mods that clear out AI traffic so you can have your own fun? See my point here? We all get to play TMP, with our own separate servers suitable for both players on either side of the fence, or we don't play at all. The problem I see here is that the Arcade bunch want to root the Simulation bunch out, and I don't see why they want that. Two different types of players that can't be together, so when they have their separate respective servers, either of them complains, isn't that absurd? Let me do this real quick for you and others, since words are quite complicated to apprehend: Separate servers: fewer reports, fewer douchebags on the road. Shared servers: more reports, more douchebags on the road. And... the tables turn and the Simulation players complain about the presence of the Arcade players. You said it, an admin. That's like someone complaining why cops run red lights when they're code 3.
  12. So when TMP divides the community into two: The Crew enthusiasts who can't run it so they play ETS2 on 20 FPS instead, and the actual truck enthusiasts who genuinely enjoy simulation, you claim that they're forcing the community to play the mod their own way... yet you seemingly stand behind the removal of speed limit and the addition of collision for a more arcade-ish experience, but that's not forcing us to play your own style? That's like saying: I don't want to play by your rules, you play by mine, even though it's your ball. But wait a minute, what happened to the Arcade servers? I thought that's what the truck-driver-on-cocaine bunch wanted, no? You get yours, we get ours, what's the problem here? Or is it because they're unpopulated so you get bored driving alone in the dark?
  13. No, that's where you're wrong. The "fast engines" aren't made so you get to experience The Crew, they're made so you can haul a higher mass. The implication here is that the trolls aren't playing the game how it's supposed to be played. The only reason they're here is that there's no AI traffic so they get to enjoy speeding, we all know that any reckless driver would wreck their own truck within minutes of driving in singleplayer, or do you think driving 150km/h is safe? As beforementioned, it's a simulator, not a racing game. Everything serves the purpose of immersing the player in an authentic trucking experience. That's why we have Arcade 1 & 2, because people do not understand that it's not a racing game, which is why TMP has the right to keep them out of SIM servers, despite TMP being their very own client, they can change it as they see fit. Wanna have a racing experience? Head to the Arcade servers. End of subject.
  14. The "admins r so powerful, we no see fair treatment omfg" argument is getting old now. If you wish to floor it and hit every guard rail on your way too, then head to the Arcade servers, that's why we have them. 110km/h is already enough, this game is a simulator, but it seems many people here tend to think of it as The Crew where they fly off to the moon with their friends, which is far from what TMP and SCS intend to provide. What everyone fails to see here is that TMP tries to balance the thin line between "fun" and "realism", but unfortunately the majority of the community are trying to have flying trucks because they're desperately trying to accumulate as much money as possible to rank up in their VTC faster than their friends so they can flex and show off. Again, Arcade servers exist, if you would like to break your pedals speeding, then go ahead. Leave Simulation servers alone and away from the arcade-ish experience. As mentioned above, it's a simulator, not a racing game. There's something that people on the other side of the fence don't realize: there's a portion of the community that do not wish to see or associate with people who like to ridiculously speed through cities and smash into other trucks on the highway, there are players who would like to stay away from the madness happening on the road because of your speeding. That's why Arcade servers were made, to give space to the realism enthusiast drivers. Stay away from Simulation servers, that's what TMP is saying. The funniest part of this entire argument is that TMP provides us with two Arcade servers where collision and speed limit are disabled, yet with this generous addition from TMP, the community still demands to lift the speed limit, but where? In Simulation servers, that's indeed a joke and a wonderful tale I will have to share with a buddy in a bar. Harsh punishments are a major deterrent to rule-breakers, it discourages foul players from breaking the rules over and over. I truly wish for harsher punishments and lengthy bans.
  15. Is Washington in Europe? Obviously on ATS.
  16. Did you try messaging him on the forums?
