  2. Hi there. I am a modder, I haven't really done much in FMOD, but now, it might not seem to work anymore. You would have to modify the engine data which is not allowed. Now, sounds are stored inside banks/guids which you are not able to open. Greetings
  3. @Swat0905 You should first make a folder, lets just call that folder "mymap". In that folder you put in your map folder. So it would look like this: Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/mymap/map Its the same with mods! Mods are stored in a .scs file, and inside that scs file is the map, models etc. We can do the same just by putting our files in a folder instead of a .scs archive. In my case, i have "mymap" called "e115-polandball", where I store my map.
  4. Fuel is not cheap everywhere. Efficent driving can save up a lot of money, especially useful when on a new profile. This guide is recommended for steering wheel users only. 1. Slower accelerating Pressing the gas pedal only 1/2 can help reducing the fuel consumption. It might take longer to get to speed. Recommeded: Pressing gas pedal 1/4-1/2 only. 2. Low RPM Staying at low rpm reduces fuel consumption aswell. Most trucks have a small blue mark on the RPM gauge. As seen in the image above, the first and second truck has this blue mark. It is recommended to shift up to the next gear when approaching the blue mark. As seen on the very right picture, there is no blue mark. It is best to shift up between the green and red mark, ~2000-2500 RPM. The skoda does not have a mark. I mostly shift up at 3000 RPM. Try to never exceed 3000 RPM for best fuel consumption and still having a decent acceleration speed. 3. No cruise control Cruise control tends to increase the fuel consumption. I recommend to drive without cruise control, but for long routes it is still better to use cruise control AND to shift up to get low RPM. 4. Slow braking When you approach a red traffic light, get on the clutch and brake just a bit slowly. That way you will not loose much speed, and if in time the traffic light turns green you do not have to accelerate again. Sometimes, this trick does not work and you have to brake hard when being near the traffic light. But in most cases, if you do this early, you can save yourself the acceleration time! Simply, your goal is to keep the RPM low and keep the acceleration low. That way you will succeed and save up fuel!
  5. 3.5 minutes being afk results into a kick? Holy jesus, how would we be able to customize our vehicle?
  6. Or don't drive at all there.
  7. A verification system could be an option. You verify yourself to not use cheats when turning TruePlay on and you have a check mark next to your name
  8. Suggestion Name: Skoda SuperB Remaking Part 2 Suggestion Description: Hi. First of all, the current car we have has a lot of bugs. Considering FMOD coming soon with rollable windows, the car should get its next improvement update. I have summed up here some ideas that will make more fun driving the vehicle. - besides the caravan, a roofbox (image included) - adding the SCS Truck paintjobs for the car aswell, for more customization especially for company cars - More rims (can be taken from SCS AI vehicles aswell) (inspired by local-savegame editing where you can saveedit AI tires onto the car) - rollable windows for both sides - fixing windscreen wipers - More interior customization, such as hanging toys, navigation, and so on - A normal trailer where you can haul boxes, small cars,.. Any example images: Yes, roofbox: (roofbox is private mod) Why should it be added?: The ideas mentioned above are partly adding more realism, but the paintjobs and interior customization add more customization possibilities for the players aswell. Having the same, clear interior everywhere is getting annoying! The roofbox is also a great travelling (holidays) add-on besides the caravan aswell, considering the caravan is a bit wobbly when driving on the highway. Windscreen wipers and rollable windows are I believe self-explainable. And for anyone thinking, it's a truck simulation game, yes, that's true, but the car is a great addon to the highways only filled with trucks! I would personally like more variarity of vehicles on the highway, and not only the same looking trucks. The car is great for roleplaying or chilling and driving, and I feel the ideas mentioned above could improve the experience. PS.: For my personal skoda mod, I improved the engine power to make the acceleration better. However, considering trolls, I have my doubts that this will happen anytime in TMP.
  9. Addition to this Post: Writing with colors in Discord (Code Boxes)
  10. We, Modders, personally cannot deal with the Game.crash file. If you are having Modding issues with mods, rather use game.log.

  12. Hi. So I know theres "Show your work", but due the fact that inactive threads will get deleted, I am looking for an alternative. I am working on a map, and obviously I cannot release every week new screenshots of it, so thats why I am asking where I could post my project.
  13. I think putting the entire Calais-Duisburg as No Collision Zone is enough stuff to do, but sadly the kids will look for a different route to spend their full day on
  14. Hi.
  15. ^ Hahah, thanks for that one, but I don't know why the moderators then approved my post.
  16. Suggestion Name: Speedlimit adjusted to your played hours on Steam Suggestion Description: Adjust the Speedlimit you can drive with your played hours on Steam. Number of Hours = Out of City limit / City Limit 2 hours = 90 / 50 km/h 500 hours = 110 / 60 km/h 1000 hours = 150 / 80 km/h 1500 hours = 180 / 90 km/h Why should it be added?: Usually, trolls accounts are pretty young. If they want to troll at high speeds, they have to wait a very long time to do so. This speedlimiter reduces your max speed, and people with more hours usually have much more experience in the game. This speedlimit function can prevent many accidents to happen. Obviously, the hours and speedlimit can get decided by the team, but this is a very smart suggestion to prevent accidents. People having 1500 hours have more experience, than 2 hour person would have. Therefor, they should be able to drive faster.
  17. This has been posted already. So this is pretty much a double post here
  18. I actually suggested something similiar earlier, but the idea has been pretty much forgotten by the administrators. Suggestion Name: Skoda Improvements 2 Suggestion Description: Add more cabin customization abilities Add an Estate Model Fixing the broken wipers on both UK and no-UK Increasing the weight of the skoda car, which allows you more stability and you can drive on higher speeds with no problems Increasing the HP due to the weight increase I've been messing around with the skoda, and yes, all I mentioned above should be possible. Why should it be added?: The skoda is currently in a big loss when it's about customization and bugs.
  19. First drive started in Poland Rzeszow, driving to Folkestone.
  20. Good. But not only that, Ghost Mode should be visible to all players, someone already suggested that but apparently the staff is taking months to implement this
  21. I have thought about something like this always, its useful for especially overtaking to prevent crashes.
  22. Well most players ignore traffic rules. And if someone goes the speedlimit, everybody starts honking. I don't really know why everybody is in a such hurry and want to get banned.
