Report Moderator Recruitment From the 16th of May until the 18th of May, we will be looking for talented individuals to join our Game Moderation team as Report Moderators. The Report Moderator is the face of the reports that come in on the website of TruckersMP. The Report Moderator is responsible for moderating in-game actions that are reported by players through our website, answering appeals in a timely manner and making sure they are issuing the correct punishments to those who break the rules. This helps to keep the roads safe for everyone, and ensures the community enjoys the best experience on our servers. Core Requirements: - Familiarity with TruckersMP and its rules - Must have a website account that is at least 12 months old - Must have a forum and Discord account for internal communication - Must be at least 16 years old - No bans or forum/Discord punishments within the last 12 months - Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months - Good behaviour across our communication channels - Must be sufficiently proficient in English (written) - Good communication skills - Resilient, active and flexible - Ability to work within a team and on your own at times - Eager to learn and progress your knowledge - Organised and adaptive - Be able to accept constructive criticism We're looking for motivated players from all around the world to join our Game Moderation Team. We're very interested in applicants from both American and Asian continent time zones in order to provide a satisfactory service around the clock. This position does not require any specific language skills, however understandable English is still a requirement as per the Core Requirements. Hello, We hope to bring this feature to TruckersMP. We are currently struggling with technical difficulties to make this possible, but we will do what we can to bring this in the future Regards

Hey, It is hard for me to imagine TruckersMP being in a 'completed' state. I feel like there will always be new things to add to the game. We want to create a Multiplayer environment where we can do more than only the 'basic trucking' experience. Look at, for example, our Real Ops events and themed events. We have a lot of tickets in the backlog to add nice features to the game, but sadly they all depend on this replication framework to be finished. It is not only AI traffic that depends on this. Our whole modification will use this system. As for what we can expect ... this is dangerous for me to say, as I do not want to make false promises. As you know, AI traffic is one of the most requested features and we really want to bring it. We also want to bring more VTC-related features and the possibility to use custom modifications. There are more things but I will just keep it to this at the moment If the current player base will like these things? Well, it is hard to say ... We have seen in the past when a lot of people like something, a big group of others will not like it. It is sadly impossible to please everyone, but we will obviously do everything we can to keep everyone happy. Regards

I disagree. We have game moderators, and these moderators strive to ensure that game reports are reviewed promptly. They diligently review countless reports day in and day out. Introducing another team into the mix, when we already have a team that is doing an exceptional job, seems like a rather unnecessary and laborious effort with little chance of a positive outcome. Not to mention all the background processes involved in joining the moderation team, such as training, etc. The issue is not that reports are not being reviewed, but rather the sheer volume of reports. This is a problem that cannot be solved simply by hiring more staff. The only way to address this issue would be to increase the limit on reports, although I fear that this may not be feasible without the risk of negative repercussions. Web reports, despite the potential for a lengthy wait, still offer you the opportunity to have your report reviewed. Once more, the delay in reviewing these reports is solely attributable to their sheer volume.

Agreed! But will this put a burden on the GM team? Often the incidents that happen and are reported in time in the game are much more serious than those reported on the official website. And they are delayed in being dealt with.

Greetings TruckersMP Community! This year we are celebrating a milestone like no other! TruckersMP is turning ten years old, and we are unpacking a great deal of festivities to celebrate ten years of incredible journeys! TruckersMP first opened its doors to the public on May 1st 2014, meaning we’re now looking forward to celebrating a decade of trucking with #TMP10. Over the span of TruckersMP’s existence, we have seen huge developments and changes, as well as immense growth and support from the community. Fast-forward to this past year; TruckersMP has achieved the milestone of 5 million registrations!. Next to that we have hosted several awesome convoy and delivery events for the community, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, TruckersMP Tournament 2023, Fruity Freight Fiesta, Featured Zone, Halloween Winter Island and the Christmas Convoy. We have also introduced a vast amount of new features and improvements to improve your experience, such as the New TruckersMP Trailers, a New Chat System and IME Support. Besides that we have actively listened to your feedback and also gave you updates regarding the project. We did a Feedback February, gave a Project Update, held a Community Survey, provided insight to the Dev Framework, but also an update to our Game Moderations Strategy. Lastly, we have recapped the year, providing you the year of 2023 in data. Some important figures were that we have had 36 052 average daily unique players, 384 998 new registrations, and 3 441 community events. For more insight into 2023, take a look at this blog post. With celebrating this milestone, it’s great to look back and see how awesome our community is, and what we have accomplished together. For that reason, it is important to come together and celebrate the success of TruckersMP on this special anniversary. You will need to deliver ten pieces (can be combined with the pack down event) of festival equipment to the event location, Milestone Bay, in order to receive the achievement. You have one week, so until Thursday the 25th of April to participate! Don’t worry if you cannot complete all the deliveries though, as you have from Monday the 29th of April until Monday the 6th of May to finish them with the packing down event. Look under the ‘’Monday 29 April 2024’’ section for more info! Friday 26 April 2024 The festival will once again make its return to kick off the weekend in style. We recommend bringing your best pair of dancing shoes, along with lots of food and drinks ;) Like the past few years, we are partnering again with TruckersFM to bring you a one of a kind 5-hour Festival! Milestone Bay will be opening its doors to bring you this one of a kind event. This is an island like no other…the festival grounds will be located on a huge site next to the race track where our TruckersMP Tournament was located last year. But that’s not all! B ofc 60 is even too slow in reallife on countryroads u can easily go minimum 70-80... i know german cops who say its too slow and they wont charge you till 80 kmh. i mean what is this bs? cars can go 100 and trucks 40 kmh less
