  2. I would like to ask what the reasons for removing the ban length visibility was? Currently if someone is banned, it just says **This user is currently Banned**. I appreciate nobody else needs to know the specific date and time that the ban gets lifted, BUT I feel like showing the ban length has its advantages. Example **This user is currently banned for 21 days**. I feel like it is important to be able to see that game moderators are sticking to the Ban length based on active bans as mentioned in §2.8 - How bans are issued, and I feel it also acts as a deterrent that if you see someone already had 4 active bans (that is public info) that they do actually get banned for longer!

  24. In the application they still ask for your timezone and how many DLC you have. So they are still weighing in the fact that one person may be more suitable for the team at that specific recruitment period because they are more available in promods or a timezone where we don't have many other moderators. But why would you make it a hard requirement? That would just block a lot of people from applying outright, it would not be beneficial at all imo. There still are many GMs in the team that are very active on Promods. But due to the nature of the road, it is very susceptible to abrupt chaos. As soon as you leave it alone and someone blocks a turn for a minute there will be a big jam and chaos.

  27. Hello, We aim to allow certain types of mods to be used on our servers. Sadly, at this moment, our systems are not prepared for this to be possible. Game Developers are working every day on improving the current systems. We cannot provide an ETA for mod support. Regards

  29. Well, next update: make the chat hideable by keeping only the names of the players or vice versa, hide the names of the players and make the chat visible..with a separate buttons or options like the current HUD.. As it was before with the previous chat..

Is an annual event similar to an American National Truck Driving Competition of interest for TruckersMP, in particular against the background of increasing the player numbers in American Truck Simulator? In contrast to other events held in the past in TruckersMP, the National Truck Driving Competition is an event where truck drivers demonstrate their skills in various challenges related to safe driving and maneuvering. It's an opportunity for drivers to showcase their expertise, compete against other drivers, and promote safety in the trucking industry. It's not about motosport categories like racing, drifting, or similar.

  32. It is not possible to change the color of the frame via save editing. The only frame that is colored is the red frame for the 100th anniversary addition and it cannot be changed to any other color. (Also doesn't require any save editing since its a normally selectable option)

  41. Hi, TruckersMP is a modification for a simulation game - we aim to simulate reality and realistic conditions. However, it is still a game and we have to accept that there are limitations to how seriously we can take the simulation aspect: We can't require a driver's license to play the game, we can't enforce real currency fines for driving offenses and we cannot moderate every single incident instantly. Over the years, we have made our rules stricter, and easier to understand, and changed how we issue bans to a fair and standardized procedure. However, we have also offered players the opportunity to express their driving preferences in various ways by adding support for ProMods for more challenging roads, by adding arcade servers where no road rules are applied, and by removing the speed limit from one of our simulation servers. Ultimately, many players opted to remain on the one simulation server with a 110 km/h speed limit and enforced road rules. Why don't we enforce stricter speed limits? In reality, European trucks are usually physically limited to 110 km/h and legally to 80-95 km/h. We believe 110 km/h is a fair (and yet realistic) speed limit. We have seen a significant reduction in incidents since bringing back this speed limit a few years ago. I don't believe that reducing it further will reduce accidents. You mention 'a better punishment system like IRL has [with fines and license suspensions]'. We suspend people from driving by issuing a temporary ban on the first few offenses for most rule violations. I believe this is quite realistic. We did explore the idea of charging in-game currency fines for offenses but few players would are seriously scared of losing money in-game as it's easy to make or cheat back. We have considered the idea of a 'hardcore sim' server with a 95 km/h speed limit which would require a significant amount of in-game hours to join (e.g. 500 hours in ETS2). However, we believe that this defeats our purpose as an MMO modification. We want you to have fun with your friends while delivering cargo across Europe. By separating players more, we lose the MMO aspect. If you want to play the game's 'hardcore' simulation rules, you can opt to play SCS Software's Convoy mode where you can set the rules and only let your trusted friends come near you. If you have relevant suggestions that have a worked-out concept of how we can get closer to the described goal, let me know! We are always welcoming descriptive and constructive suggestions. Hey, I am going to accept this suggestion as while this specifically is not planned, the vision in the long term regarding game reports, game demos and evidence is to have a system which will work in a way vaguely similar to how you have described. We won’t be adding exactly what you have suggested but it makes more sense to accept this rather than reject due to what our vision is in the long-term regarding this subject.
