Leff12345 Posted August 20, 2016 Share Posted August 20, 2016 I'm not sure if they will add this feature, since the EU2 and EU3 servers are made so you can go whatever speed you want, that's why they are called "freeroam" servers (I believe that's what they are called). But not a bad idea really, maybe this will be looked into, as many people do for sure drive the cars at really high speeds. separnz Posted August 22, 2016 Share Posted August 22, 2016 I see his point the majority of scout car users aren't using them for their intended purpose and do use them as a race car, personally i hate the cars as its a truck sim and you play it to do loads and honestly i'm not seeing people using a Pilot Vehicle for many convoys. Cars are only allowed in no-speed-limited servers, trucks are allowed to "fly" at full speed, even 160 Km/h (I've never achieved faster speeds) so cars should be limited to... How fast? 160? 180? 120, so most trucks would go faster? Trolls will be trolls, no matter if they drive trucks or cars, no matter if they go 180 or if they go 120... I'm not saying that they are either good or bad, but something to be considered is that they are, at times very hard to control with both steering and braking. At the end of the day though, drivers of them need to take the time to read AND follow the rules. A speed limit isn't going to solve the issue, I've had a number of users who have followed my truck in a car, attempting to cause me issues, who have then later loaded a truck and caused worse issues... The control is very sloppy, and car drivers seem to have no respect for the truck drivers out there. This may help the issue, but I'm not entirely sure.
