Spieker Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Suggestion Name: TruckersMP-ID on license plate (with option to turn on/off)Suggestion Description: Replace the standard license plates on other trucks and trailers with the TruckersMP ID, for Example "348535" instead of "MA NO 608". You would also have the ability to display only the standard text. Any example images: Spoiler or something like that... Why should it be added?: It would add a little more realism as the license plates in real life are also used to identify perpetrators. It would make reports a lot easier and it would make /pinfo useless. This would be practical if someone rams you and decides to just ALT+F4 the game to avoid a ban. I know, you can still find these people with the help of the spawning logs, but this can be quite time-consuming. What do you guys think about that? Also this will mean that we'll have to re-make something that is already done - you can already customize your truck's plates from Worldoftrucks site>Profile customization (e.g. https://worldoftrucks.com/en/online_profile.php?id=117953 ) Oh, and reporting will be nightmare for those of us who play on laptops/notebooks - how many people can you identify here by license plates? As already mentioned above sometimes its difficult to see someone's number plate. All the license plates were designed to make your truck looks special, and if the TMP ID is used instead of normal/custom license plates, this really makes the game looks unrealistic. There's already a system in-game that you can easily check a player's ID, there's also TMP ID provided in the spawn log file, so why not just go and check it there???
